Toon Boom Tutorial Week 1 

Ya see my friend I agree, there aren't enough tutorials, so that's why I felt obligated to make these. I'm sure the version difference will give you a little trouble, but at the end of the day, you'll understand everything you'll need to make quality animations.

Irritated Viking Hey, thank you so much for the thoughtful comment. I know your determined for an answer and I'm happy to give you one. There definitely is a level of clean animation that you need to reach in order to look professional, but also a few other things really give animations an extra level of polish. For starters, I figured out how to export in HD which is kind of a requirement these days on RU-vid. You can do that with toon boom studio and I just outright never figured out until about Shadow Brand and Quality Time. With Boom Knuckles I made the switch to Toon Boom Animate Pro 2, which only allowed me to add a couple of quality improvements like some nicer blurs and some lighting effects. However, I feel I could have made the cartoon at near or the same quality with studio. Getting that aspect ratio and high definition down really makes a difference, but like I said, you need to reach that level of clean lines, pleasing and well chosen colors, and fluid animation to make the higher definition look good in the first place. I really hope you complete your project, and send it over to me after you've finished it. VR, Ashman

It's purely software from what I understand. There may be a disk version, but it's most likely easier to download. You don't wanna ask me about screen capture software XD

thank you for direct comment it is possible yet we are going to out sourcing our concepts to Augmented Reality Pioneer gravity Jack that will build our visuals and gaming mechanics from our scratch concepts yet in the future to give them reference as complex of gaming and interactive product as we are making for the apparel industry i would imagine this could work and we will definitely look into it thank you

Definitely! Don't get animate pro 3 until you know animation very well and are ready to take on more complicated techniques and processes. I recommend starting with Studio.

I currently am using animate pro for my new stuff going forward and it's a very different program with many fascinating features, but takes away a lot of the ease that studio 4 provides for newcomers. The interface is rather familiar to studio though, but like I said, it's a different animal intended for experienced pros
