A short 2D animation that myself and fellow film maker Mark Knight made for the NFT project 'Toon Squad'.
This was the initial pilot episode used to get the contract.
Interesting fact about this project was that we encouraged members of the Toon Squad NFT community to contribute ideas/ suggestions on all parts of the pre-production.
Created using Rough Animator/ Toonboom Harmony and After Effects

@@geoartifex these cartoons took about 4 weeks each. So a week for script, storyboard, voice recording and animatic.a week of character design, background design and creation. 2 weeks of animating and a day of compositing and editing.

@@geoartifex no worries bud. Animation can be very time consuming BUT it doesn’t have to be, depending on quality of art and animation you can drastically reduce production times. I’m working on a video at present that covers this topic in which I will show how I plan a project to make fast animation.

I've been meaning to have a play again with Adobe Animate as I aint really used it for a while now and I have been wondering how its aged, back in the day it was my software of choice between 2004 to 2011

@@UMATOR1 for this cartoon I roughed out the animation using the app ‘Rough Animator’. Then I created the final art/ animation using ‘Toonboom Harmony’. Background art was created in Photoshop. Once done all animations and art were composited in After effects. That’s it :)

Lot of stuff I have had to deal with over past 2 years which have soaked up my freetime. Got a new job with another gaming studio, relocated myself and my family further up the map. Just busy busy busy but things are beginning to relax now and I aim to start making more content for my channels.
