@@chuckarrand4281...they're out there, but most people don't like being told the truth. Being honest doesn't translate into being elected. Just ask the Greens and NDP. They tell us what they want to do, and we don't vote for them...even if it ends up being what the others try to do anyways.

As an Albertan I love how QD always seems to tell it exactly how it is. Frankly I am completely over our current federal government, he just needs to be gone and that same nonsense just trikles right on down back to our provinces time we institute term limits and politics not earning a single penny in my opinion you want to be a politician serve and then go back to paying your taxes like the rest of us.
Great comment, QD! ALL of our elected representatives need to be honest, open and accountable. Too bad so many egos get elected, then forget their priorities should revolve around those principles - instead of their own "interests"
For those of you who are still having a hard time. It doesn't matter what "party" it is, they ALL MUST be held accountable. WTF is right QDM !!! Good on you, brother.
Your An Important Person To CANADA . Seriously ,Keep Speaking UP Thank You .I Look Forward To Your Posts . Farming A Busy Time Always . So We Understand Your Busy .
Quickie it just boils down to raising kids. When you cannot correct a kid for doing wrong because they must express themselves they go on to be adults 🤬 That is grown people with the mind of a two-year-old!!!
And to think hard earned dollars are paying for their time, energy, and stellar leadership? Entitled, all of them. Lying no longer has accountability attached to it. That baseline is gone and trust is out the window. Thanks QDMD for pointing out that citizens still have the power of their vote, it’s so important to understand this and believe me they know it too.
People chose to portray lying as a " nothing burger " ? Sorry folks but once someone rides down the 🐎💩 trail they lose all credibility. As usual, this is a superb opinion piece Quick. Thank You. Best Wishes to You, Your Family and Friends.

The Sask party phoned me a few weeks ago asking for money for up coming election. Strong supporter in the past. I told them they need to get their house in order it's a mess. NDP isn't an option but the mess the Sask party has isn't good either. Leadership change or lots of changes???
Long, Long ago, in a Galaxy Far Far away, being Voted into the Senate or Parliament as a MP or Senator, was amongst the highest honours. NOT ANY MORE Just a Bunch of Children on a Playground Full of Bullies, all flinging mud at each other.
After the madness we've all lived through over the last 4 year's it's clear to see we need a complete Government system overhaul. I say cut it back 50% in size to start and privatize to small businesses as much as possible. Way to go QD, your the Man again! Keep up the great work Brother
Exactly QDM! I must be one of the strange ones when it comes to guns. If I require bringing my guns to Cabela"s (who sell guns), I actually call them. I inform them when I will be there, present the gun in a case with trigger lock at the front and then proceed. Not required but It, I believe just puts the staff at ease and also is the proper thing to do. You would think people who of higher power would follow this same rule.
Credibility and trust obviously are no longer criteria for getting and keeping a government position. And it affects every level of government. The pettiness is sickening.
Well Said QD, the whole deal makes my heart sore. If our 'leaders' can't act with honour and responsibility how can we expect the followers to . . . Something that has stood me in good stead over the years is saying "I effed up, how do we fix this."
Thanks for this QD. This is one of many tire fires this group has to deal with. Governments get old. Sometimes a change is good just for the sake of a reset and a change, even for one term. It happened in Alberta.
As a rancher , small cow / calf I personally know some farm gals, that would run this country on budget on time and with integrity and honesty. Problem would be no potty mouth. And we wouldn't have to pay pension to long as most of these gals are in their 80's.
@@QuickDickMcDick I know you would never tell anyone to do anything. I understand the stupidity of the politicians involved in this and they need their pee pees slapped hard for this but unfortunately there is nothing that we can do other than voice our concerns to them.
There are other parties. If you live in a rural area, other than the North, not voting for the Sask Party won't lead to the NDP being elected there. NDP even came 3rd in the Lumsden by-election. So you can send a message by voting for another. If the NDP get elected, it will be through the North, Regina, Saskatoon and smaller cities like Moose Jaw and Prince Albert. So there it may help the NDP win. Whether that happens, seems completely dependent on the Sask Party whose antics, mismanagement etc have lost them 14 pts in some polling in the last year.
It's fine that he brought it in - it is HOW he brought it in. The letter from the SAA insinuates he nearly triggered a security event. Boneheaded move.
@@QuickDickMcDick Yep, I get it. But IMHO those legislative grounds should be a gun free zone. Yes, security needs to be packing, but that's it. Not even for storage/safety reasons. And yes, I hunt too. Time and place for everything. All this incident does is give the anti gun group..more ammo...per se.
I don't always agree with you on everything, but this is one thing we both will agree on. Goverment no matter the party must be held accountable for their actions, words & inaction.
With the lack of attention and care on healthcare and education. Cutting STC, selling crown corps, and giving contracts to companies outside of the province and country. And this fiasco, is proof that the Sask Party should never be trusted again. They let their egos get in the way of the service for the province and everyone is suffering for it.
There is definitely a huge concern in cluttered priorities in government!! The municipal government answer to the local constituents funded by ? The feds or applicable province? These spider webs need better distinction and accountability!! Gone are the days of accountability and transparency!!!
Credibility in politicians these days is a tall order. Comparing your legislators are ours here in the U.S. and it's pretty much a blurred line. The only difference is the names. It's a crying shame these days that the legislative halls are full of party hacks and the people get left by the wayside. We had a real donnybrook recently in a committee hearing in our U.S. House of Representatives. Real problems need to get solved and those jack asses went at each other over petty politics. Vote them all out and start over....
LESSER OF TWO EVILS While I agree with you QD, I also consider the ramifications of an NDP government in Saskatchewan. Which liars do we want...well...lying to us? Which party is the lesser of two evils? Now of course we don't want anyone lying to us, but such is the case in politics today. It's sad to say...but true. So how will this play out come election time? Which brings us to another issue...indifferent Saskatchewanians. Admittedly, Canadian politicians have garnered more scrutiny over the past few years. Covid certainly opened a lot of Canadian's eyes, with regards to politics. Having said this, there is still a large portion of our province's population that could care less what goes on in legislation. They will see and hear a repeated narrative, on TV and radio, which could easily sway their votes, not understanding how badly it could affect them later. Our Premiere hasn't been the best leader, looking at recent history, but he certainly isn't the worst. He is fighting for Saskatchewan, as we can see with the carbon tax increases, gun ownership, and better energy alternatives, rather than just wind and solar. He also fights for our oil & gas sector, which generates a lot of income for our province. I'm not saying he's perfect, but I believe that he is doing a better job than the NDP could...regarding, well, everything. I don't know why Moe lied. Maybe he didn't know? Let's hope that's the case. Then again, why didn't he know? And what would an inquiry really accomplish? It'll just be a witch-hunt, or a cover-up, depending on who is on the inquiry panel. At the very least, I want someone running Saskatchewan, who cares about our province...not some Marxist party that will toe-the-line, spreading 'the message' of the D.I.E.S. doctrine, supporting the woke-du-jour of the next divisive topic. Who knows...maybe the Buffalo Party will start to gain some followers here? Cheers QD...hope seeding is nearly done now?
They all lie at some point, even when they boast about transparency during their campaigns. Saskatchewan is lucky to have Scott Moe. He's a rare breed in politics today. He has my respect for calling out the Trudeau government for picking and choosing who should and shouldn't pay a carbon tax.
@@QuickDickMcDick Obviously...we should hold any and all government entities accountable...but can we really? Can we viably hold our government to account? Trudeau's regime is proof that we cannot. Especially with the NDP propping them up. So in the face of no viable alternatives, unless you consider the Buffalo Party to be one, what should we do? I know it's a question that cannot be easily answered, but these globalist-minded ideologues are not playing by the same rules...are they? They dance around questions, never telling the actual, or factual, truth of what's really going on. That's because they have their own agendas. So why can't we? I feel like this is a case of fighting fire with fire...which is a terrible idea...but what else can we do? Conservatives will die on this hill of principles...because like it or not...we will see this 'Great Sustainable Reset' come to pass...and many Saskatchewanians won't survive it. Well that was a dark note to end on...hey? Yes...we should try to keep our stick on the ice...but when these cocksuckers keep cross-checking, there comes a time when you've just got to throw off the gloves and get into it! Thanks QD.
@@-Ordinary-Average-Guy I agree. He also bucks the gun grab of Trudeau's too. He is, right now, the closest we can have to a Saskatchewan first Premiere. However, I have been looking into the Buffalo party. They have some interesting ideas. Cheers.
I was thinking there was something wrong in Sask. Danielle Smith raised the bar in the west and it appears there is no other provinces who have the leadership to raise the bar. But when it comes to drama and corruption seems there are many.
I completely agree with you That’s where we went sideways in this country there can never be a double standard Thing to me must be black and white or wrong or write but we will never get back to that and it’s terrible MPs parents must be so proud to watch their children LIE everyday at work
Oh dear gawd😂soooo i can start my training now to carry my firearm everywhere i go so I'm good and ready for Oct moose and Nov dear hunt..what the hey on the way to the hunt camps stop by the church and pray for a good hunt...off topic but that story is crazy, keep up the great work QD👍
Here here. Was a pleasure meeting you in pv mart today. Thanks for the photo. I found out afterwards that apparently you grew up at the pfra head quarters east of radville? We live and farm right near there. Have fun at the oil show.
“There’s one solution and one solution only,” I can think of another solution… vote them out. They don’t deserve the privilege of running the province.
Actually, and this is according to the explanation given by Rod Giltaca on the CCFR web cast, Harrison, dressed in cameo, was on his way to a hunt camp, got a phone call that he needed to sign some documents, and stopped by at the Leg. to do so. Not wanting to leave his rifle (shotgun?) in his car, he carried it into the building (in a case), stopped by security to ask if it was ok to take it to his office and did so when they said no problem. He signed the papers, collected his rifle/shotgun, and continued on his way to the hunt camp. The leg. was not in session at the time. This all happened some 10 years ago.
@@QuickDickMcDick Did he lie about it? Is it possible that Harrison forgot about this non incident when Moe asked him? 10 years is a long time. Do you remember buying that can of corn at the grocery story 10 years ago?😊
As far as texting in our legislative building it should not be allowed. Schools have rules against cellphone and texting, but yet our over educated children in legislative don’t have the grownup manners to leave the phone in their office or just simply shut it OFF. Good lord what’s our coming to.
