THANK YOU for being brave enough to have this chat, this is exactly my point. we as parents are told that these children are at risk of "self deleting", can you imagine as a pattern not being TOLD/AWARE of this risk? its crazy, we cant make rules based on the thought that all parents are bad people. Make Kids Kids Again. and for frog-snacks just be kind folks.

I went to the Sept 20th Rally, Millions March for Kids, in Nanaimo, BC. As an over 60, white Grandmother, I have never experienced the level of HATE directed at me and all the others standing up for the kids. To my dismay there were a lot of my contemporaries on the OTHER SIDE. Our country and future are in grave danger.

You talk about people getting 'triggered' when they see a pride-painted crosswalk. Then in the next breath talk about pride-people getting 'triggered' when they see some tire-skid marks on "their" sidewalk. What an F'd up mess. Yes, I absolutely agree on open dialogue with parents. Nothing about your kids should ever be done without parents' knowledge and consent. Any person who says to your child, "Don't tell your parents" is a danger to society.

Society has gone off the rails. I don't see kids building forts or riding bikes or going fishing or anything anymore. I do see them consuming without a thought of what hard earned money is worth. As a kid I delivered newspapers, mowed lawns, shoveled driveways, anything for a buck. Now they aren't allowed to unless supervised. I shake my head in disbelief. Th qdmd for another great vid.

There is one major and one minor argument against the pride crosswalk, otherwise I'd agree with your assessment. I was in Fort Langley, and the traffic is always heavy there. Every parent with a young child that was crossing the street was drawn to the rainbow and wanted to play on it. Municipalities waste money, how much extra does it cost to have crosswalk paint mixed? How many of these crosswalks are just budget padding, so they don't get their budgets cut? And in addition, the pride cross walk draws attention away from the purpose of the crosswalk, a safety device to control the flow of pedestrians and give motorists heightened awareness of potential danger.
@revolioclockman8090
@revolioclockman8090 Год назад
Agreed. Who has *any* proof that people are doing burnouts on Pride crosswalks? It's a road, people drive on it, and the people who paint flags on the ground should know this. It's one thing to put a Pride flag on your own house or car, it's a totally different thing to fly one with taxpayer money. Further, it's either idiotic or deceptive to paint a flag on the ground and then get mad when people step on it. I also take exception to schools flying Pride flags on the same pole as the Canadian flag. While this isn't actually illegal, it is a clear breach of the official ettiquette for flying the Canadian flag and therefore disrespectful. This is being done by public employees using Canadian tax dollars. What about supporting gay people (which I argue Pride now fails to do) requires disrespecting or vilifying your community?

The issue is would the kids be trans, if they were not taught sexuality before they even knew what sexuality is? If you teach a child this, then tell them that it is the cure to what ails them, most will have no clue and go along with it, because most kids are taught to trust authority figures in their lives. Remove the teachings from the schools, and let the kids be kids. One of my employees had his 4 year old daughter with a book about why 2 boys like each other. She’s FOUR! The teacher told the parent it’s in the curriculum and threatened to call the police on him if he objected. ENOUGH!

at 9:50 when talking about the not flying the pride flag. The problem is, the people that fly the pride flag say if you don't fly it , it means you hate them. I have a problem with the LGB group saying theyre oppressed, yet, look at everything they do, kinda makes me think they arent being genuine
@revolioclockman8090

I also have a problem that the Pride folx seem to think that they speak for the people they represent. I know a lot gay people who want to lead normal lives where being gay is one small part of it. All of the flags, and political messaging, and fetishism is just making it harder for them to do so. It makes whatever little identity checkbox they've ticked central to who they are supposed to be and something that's supposed to make them go a certain way, politically. I think Quick Dick must be pretty new to this stuff if he's still at the "Pride flags just mean I support gay people/trans people/"People of Colour"/AIDS victims/Two Spirited people etc" stage. Many people seem to think this, even those flying kt. What this flag represents to the people trying to get it into public spaces is the idea that our systems (all of them, from public schools to democracy and capitalism) are inherently evil and need to be torn down and replaced.

Using that time and platform to push your own political views is extremely unprofessional. It also opens uncomfortable doors. If people find it acceptable for employees to push politics while serving coffee (or playing hockey), what's the difference when an employer says "you need to push *my* politics while you're on the clock"? It then comes down to "let me be political or I quit" vs "push my politics or you're fires"; who wins that one, do you think?

I’m with you on everything except the road paint. Road markings should be reserved for traffic related items and not cluttered with other things making it more difficult to see important safety information. Paint is also slippery and reduces grip. Often this additional paint is at intersections where traction is the most important. As a motorcycle rider I already try avoiding any paint but these are large, solid paint areas so impossible. Go ahead, fly a flag, wear a bumper sticker or paint your face but keep graffiti off the pavement.

It's extremely important to understand that this is what modern "Pride" is: queerness. They are not doing the fetish stuff because that's "who they really are", they're doing it because it subverts the status quo. That's also why they keep adding things to their flags/accronyms; they need to be constantly pushing. For example: here was a shop teacher in Ontario who insisted on wearing gigantic prosthetic breasts while teaching last year and there was a big to do over it. In the aftermath, the board created "TQ+" safe spaces for students who felt uncomfortable by people calling him out. Like how the pro-trans feminists are casting out "TERFs", the Pride people are cutting out gays and lesbians because they're no longer subversive enough. This doesn't stop. There is no point at which they will ever say "now we're satisfied" and it wouldn't matter if they did because the next generation of victim politicians would simply shove them aside. Their goal is to dismantle our systems because they think they'll come out on to in the event of societal collapse. Our goal needs to be the preservation of the systems that make our country one of the greatest in history in terms of prosperity, cooperation, and freedom.

Some excellent points in here, but I don't think a lot of people understand just how big of a problem we are dealing with. There are actual conferences, zoom meetings, workshops and courses for teachers specifically on how to trans kids without their parents knowing, and how to get around these new laws, which they misrepresent completely and lie about to get people on board with them. They are pretty open about their goals, if you know where to look. A lot of these kids in school are being *taught* to be trans, and it's mostly their teachers and guidance councillors as well as online "influencers" that are convincing them of this. Gender dysphoria is rare and extremely difficult to live with. And it is people with gender dysphoria - the real ones - that are saying, kids cannot be trans. They may be gender confused, and the school system is certainly making that happen, but most kids either grow out of it after puberty, or turn out to be gay - and they're not allowed to be gay anymore. They must be trans. And by trans, they don't even mean transexual anymore, because they deny the gender binary. They've redefined the term. With real gender dysphoria, they uphold the gender binary. They have no choice; that's the root of the pain their dysphoria. And it *is* pain. Anyone who talks about "trans joy" isn't trans. Anyone who uses anything other than male or female pronouns isn't trans. Anyone who doesn't try to "pass" isn't trans (not passing triggers the pain of dysphoria). The term "trans" is now being used to mean "transcend" or "transform". So that rise in depression and suicidal feelings among children right now? That is directly related to them being convinced they are something they are not. They are even being taught that if they don't medically transition, they *will* off themselves. And don't think that living in a small town means it's not happening in your schools, too. It is. As for the flag and the cross walks, 10 years ago, I would have agreed with you. Now, even people in the LGBT community are saying, that flag no longer represents us. It has become a hate flag. Right now, flying that flag has become not much different than flying a swastika. Yes, I'm serious. Activists flying that flag are literally calling for violence and death on anyone who disagrees with them. and anything short of total and complete support and affirmation of their position is branded as "hate" and deserving of abuse. It does not represent the gay community anymore. And heaven help someone who is gay or trans for real, and tries to speak out against what is being done in "their" name. The attacks they get are really quite alarming.

@@revolioclockman8090 this is a culmination of decades by ideologues. They took the long game. Under our noses, they gained power in the institutions. Specifically our universities. Now, all our more recently graduated teachers, politicians, lawyers, etc. have gone through a Marxist indoctrination, and they've reached the point where they openly brag about being "trained Marxists". Marxism is against private property. They view children as the property of parents, and believe they actually belong to the state - meaning, themselves. It's about power, destroying the "system", destroying capitalism (at least their definition of it) and ushering in their Marxist utopia. (h/t to Dr. Borysenko for identifying the goals while going under cover and infiltrating their meetings and conferences) I used to follow a sociology blog, some 20+ years ago. It was very interesting, at first. It was also the first time I saw people who celebrated Marx' birthday. When I first saw that, I thought it had to be satire, since that would be like celebrating Hitler, Mao, Stalin or Mussolini. But no, the writer was serious. In a very short time, I had to stop following the blog, as it became this bizarre Marxist platform, and no longer had much to do with sociology at all. In my opinion, no gender changing drugs or operations should occur until the brain has fully developed - which is on average 26 years of age. This is a great point. Absolutely the parents must be an integral part of the conversation... I believe that people should do what they want to in the privacy of their own home. If they are a man and love men... giver. If they're a woman and love other women... also giver. If you want to be a transvestite, do it at home or at the burlesque show but don't go to the kindergarten classroom. I don't know what it's like in Saskatchewan, but here in BC the government is allowing big, burley, hairy men into the ladies change room at the local pool where little girls change their clothes because these men identify as women??? I would be fearful of using the change rooms myself and I'm a grown ass woman. Schools have provided litter boxes for kids identifying as furries FFS!!! Seriously? Schools have illustrated books on how to give blow jobs and telling kids it's okay if your father touches you in private places - in elementary schools!!! I have seen these books. These activities are not okay and put our kids in danger. This is the basis for most parents' protests in our areas. I can't imagine having the conversation that my child is gay. However, I know that I would love my child and support them the best I can. Having said that, I believe that a person is able to love the same sex without cutting off their parts to be part of that sex or taking hormones and puberty blockers. Those things cannot be reversed and are very damaging to their bodies - the hormones wreck their systems and prevent them from having kids of their own. Talk about major depression if a person changes their mind after having these surgeries and taking the drugs. And, some of the surgeries (like giving a woman a penis or a man a vagina) are major failures where the parts don't work and they are constantly infected and the limbs where the skin is taken from are grossly deformed.

And there is LOTS of censorship. Not all schools have this but some do. I have seen pictures and heard accounts by decent people I trust. On the other hand, I don't have to provide you proof of anything. Go do some research on your own. You'll be sickened by what you find.

I think QDM needs to take a beat on this one. When you have your own kids you will view this differently. The parents must be involved and informed, period. The teachers need to keep their involvement to the bare curriculum and cut out all the other nonsense. We wouldn't be having these discussions if there weren't some (yes, SOME) teachers crossing the line. In regards to why people object to other "community stuff", maybe people are just tired of having to bow down to it all the time.

Teachers need to collectively get their shit together and start actually teaching. Kids across the country are struggling with reading and basic math and you can't just blame it on Covid. In my perfect world, a high school graduate should have a general understanding of taxes, our three systems of government, how our courts work, and how to legally start a business. Plus a number of specific technical skills relevant to the student. Right now, they can barely find Ottawa on a map without Google.

One thing I'll say about teachers being responsible for raising kids...is that they aren't. Being responsible means who deal with the outcome, good or bad. Teachers, once the students leave their class, usually never see them again. I'm in Ontario and, in our Board, every single parent, every single year, gets a letter stating that the Board takes zero responsibility for student safety and parents are 100% responsible for any medical costs arising from anything that happens *at school*. They then offer to sell us insurance.

On the topic of communication, it is of the utmost importance that we keep the gates of communication open with our children. I have always communicated with my children. And instilled in them the importance of communication. And that's one of the biggest problems we have nowadays, is the lack of communication. We as parents need to always communicate with our children, even if they don't want to. If we stay in constant communication with our children, suicide, and attempted suicide, rates would go down. Some of you might say, " Oh but we don't have the time. Blah blah blah." There are 24 hours in a day. 5, maybe even 10 mins a day wouldn't kill you. Would it? We, as parents, need to be there for our children 24 hrs a day. It's sad that we have to have a bill in order for parents to be actual parents. Very sad.

Pride month started with a parade, then a week long celebration, then pride month. Our Veterans get ONE day. A cold day in November. None of what’s happening today,good or bad,could have happened without the bravery of those men and women, yet they get ONE day!!!! I supported the pride parade for many years until it morphed into something different. So I can totally understand the repulsion of some people towards it. As for the NHL, I’m glad they’ve cut it out. Play the damn game. You’re payed to play not virtue signal.

Don’t forget: School teachers are government workers. “Government” fails in all things it sets out to accomplish. We’re really scraping the rust from a bone dry barrel when arguing over what schools should be doing with our children. They should be totally defunded, and teacher should be looking for work as Walmart greeters.
@revolioclockman8090
@revolioclockman8090 Год назад
I'll add that the blame for this situation also falls on parents. Schools are not supposed to be cheap daycare so both parents can work, but that seems to be how a lot of us treat it. Few parents speak to their kids' teacher more than a couple of times per year, fewer still actually volunteer in the schools. Many parents can't even seem to be arsed to send their kids proper lunches, hence "snack programs". Everytime parents drop the ball, the government can pick it up and claim it's now "their responsibility". We got the mess because we walked away from the stove, now it's time to clean up and get to cooking.

@@revolioclockman8090 (to piggyback off your analogy) Me and my wife have cleaned up and taken over the stove completely. Both our kids are homeschooled and it’s the best decision we could have made. Something I was recently thinking about: For the last 30 years, we have basically bottomed out on homophobia, racism, and bigotry in general. There has never been a more tolerant time in history. Then they started pushing BLM/Pride in schools in the mid-2010s. Suddenly we're awash with "hate groups" but also actual hate groups. I've never seem more open racism/homophobia and overtly racist/homophobic groups than today. So, the question is: if hate is really what these identity politicials are trying to eradicate, how come it's gotten so much worse since they got into the schools?
