Toontown Rewritten: Pre-Beta Gameplay - Part 1 

This crew is definitely worthy of performing Shakespearean plays and even Paradise Lost, judging by their ability to portray their characters so efficiently and emotionally.

This is AMAZING. The most legit server on the planet, the only server that has cogs, and has an EPIC storyline. Well done TTR team, you guys are doing an amazing job.

The black cat had glasses. Wow you work WAAAAAAY faster than Disney. It took them around 5 years to come up with the idea for accessories (Even though we begged them for it.) and actually make it. It took you guys less than a year to make the basic gist of the whole game with accessories. I applaud you sirs.

When you finished the battle on the second floor, I heard the "intermission" music and without realizing I reached for the arrow keys to move forward into the elevator. I need to get a beta key...

Old toontown, without all the stuff before 2010! My childhood, its back! ITS BACK, BABY!

It's been a long ride, I remember first discovering the pre-alpha, and watching the alpha gameplay video when it first released, TTR has grown so much (even though I have not gotten a chance to play it :( ). The daily updates always excite me, the first thing I do when I get home from school is check the daily updates. Joey (Sir Max) has made me and probably the rest of us Toons much happier, he's was the little spark that kept Toontown burning (Running). Without Joey, none of us would be here. Thank you so much Joey for keeping Toontown going, you've saved my life and many others too, I hope to see you in-game when the beta keys release.

That update video gave me such chills. When I heard the music playing at the beginning of the video, while Joey was getting his task, tears started to form in my eyes. It's truly amazing to see how much is already introduced in the game. I still remember back to when Toontown Rewritten was first announced. I had no idea what it was during the first 20 minutes of the announcement, then I figured out it was the key to saving our childhoods. It was our hope regained that something greater and powerful would once be born again. Thank you to the TTR team for this incredible video, showing us only just a little bit of what's in store for Beta and eventually public release.

Glad to see we're getting closer to a fully finished product. One thing that's always made me a little confused however is that in the original Pre-Alpha video, there were playgrounds like Minnie's Melodyland and streets already completed, yet in the first open version it was just Toontown Central. I'm assuming it'll be the same with this, though I have to wonder why that's the case. My only guess is that it's due to still working on a server that can hold a large capacity of toons all at once, so new things have to sort of trickle in while it's being worked on.

I can't wait to play this again! I had forgotten the game a while back and is a huge bummer that Disney put an end to the original game. you all rock!~!

At 10:40, I remember Storm Sellbot, happened around when I was in second-third grade and I played all day and night with my best friend. Neither of us had memberships or type chat, and we got yelled at a lot for poor strategies (I know how to fight now; Don't worry...), but hey! We played that VP so hard! Hopefully he was quoting from that and I'm not sounding like a complete idiot.

Detective Lima always bothered me as an NPC. I remember when I first confronted him, he's clearly a guy... but on the toontasks, it showed Lima's face with eyelashes. Anyways, you, and you're team are doing great! I like how y'all are adding new things in as well, making rewritten a whole new experience.
