I done only brush and I even don't brush my teeth till 15 years still god bless me and when I go for tooth check my all tooth are allright and now am doing brush 2-3 times a day and more than 3 time harmful

Here is my true experience with dentist. I had absolutely no problems with my teeth. No cavities, no gum problems, no bleeding, etc... I was 45 and I had recevied free dental insurance with my employer at the time. I went in, I figured I was 45 and should at least get them checked. It was free, right? He suggested, that since I hadn't been to the dentist in 30 years, I should have my teeth planed (?). I guess that was deep cleaning. I agreed, not really understanding why, but it was free with my insurance, so why not? Soon afterwards, I started having problems with my teeth. Problems I never had before. My gums were receding. No gingervitis. Next thing I knew, I had my first cavity, then two, and two extractions because supposedly within a few short months of cleaning, they were too bad to save. Since then I've had a total of six teeth pulled, in the last 5 years. I went my whole life without any dental problems. And that "free" check up ended up costing me my teeth. I still have problems with receding gums and I'm told I will have to have two top molars removed. I would suggest to anyone who isn't having any problems with their teeth to stay away from dentist. I've been to several in the last few years and my problem has only go worse.
You may look into gargle with oregano or thyme water or clove to reduce bacteria. It look like you got contaminated with new bacteria strain. I sometimes use doxycycline powder packed along the gum line and/or gargle. If you can find Oxyfresh toothpaste on line , that would help too. Keep searching for traditional remedy and try out.

We have same story after i got free cleaning with my tooth i got a problem with my teeth may gums are in pain and teeth after cleaning my teeth , i saw my tooth has cracked, and i was so shock. i told my husband not to go at dentist. Apparently mouth swishing with Xylitol powder can reverse tooth decay...kind of like oil pulling, but use xylitol instead of oil. I heard of peoole having good results with wheatgrass too, but xylitol is better. Receding gums can also be a vitamin C or collagen issue. And vitamin e van also help as well. NOT calling you old because I am 33 myself lol, but have you noticed any other weird things that come with aging like wrinkles forming, joint issues, dry skin etc?? My gums started bleeding randomly when brushing and felt inflamed and sore sometimes and vitamin C and collagen helped with that. My skin was also dull and I noticed a forehead wrinkle coming in at the time too. But if you are vegan, vitamin c is enough because it's needed for your body to create it's own collagen to rebuild gums. Xylitol also keeps the teeth you have healthy as well as helps reverse decay. There's also vitamin k2 and vitamin D...but get it from natural sources as supplements can cause an imbalance. Google though, I know kale is a good source of k2 and of course mushrooms, sun, and salmon for vitamin D. K2 pulls calcium from tissue and puts it into the bone and teeth where it belongs. Vitamin D helps teeth as well if you notice they may be sensitive or a bit translucent or grayish, that's a vitamin D deficiency. The teeth are weaker and more prone to erosion in this state. I chew xylitol gum when I cant brush...2 pieces. I use ice breakers ice cube gum. Gonna sound weird....but I chew about 5 minutes ans let the spit collect and swish it in ny mouth so it can coat my teeth, and then I spit out all that collected gunk cuz sometimes it's impacted food, and I dont like to swallow the spit for the first 5 mins anyways cuz it has aspartame. But ny teeth are so smooth and feel clean after chewing xylitol gum! They also have xylitol toothpaste! Havent tried it though but the reviews are great. I had a piece of my tooth chip off...may have been a poorly executed filling that fell off? Cuz tooth wasnt rotten or showed signs of decay. Like you, hadnt been to the dentist since I wss like 9!!!! Then they did a cleaning & filling on of my teeth about 4 years ago and I think thats the tooth that messed up just recetly...like 4 weeks ago. Anyways it was ultra sensitive & ached occasionally. Then 3 other teeth got sensitive and kinda ached after eating or drinking. Since using xylitol, my teeth are smooth and arent as sensitive and I can eat normally now. dentists will screw you over very well. My teeth was okay till I saw a dentist. Only bleeding gums, they convinced me to do cleaning, that there is plaque and I agreed, my teeth has been drilled with spaces in-between and the edges left brittle. and I keep getting emails to keep coming for more cleaning till these losers will shave off all my teeth and tell me sorry. such an expensive cost for damaging your teeth with their public equipments.
Yes please. He seems like a down to earth, honest, knowledgeable, humble ,trustworthy guy. Too many dentist’s around me who are solely in it for the money and will try and upsell you on all kinds of bs treatments etc. I run when I see a dentist office that is overly nice or named something like “Elite Dentistry”🙄.

There are always those people out there who aren't happy unless they're expressing their dislike of everything. Could also possibly be some naturalists about fluoride, or vegans about glycerin, in the toothpaste. 🤷
One thing these dentists won't tell you is that treatments are expensive as hell. And the older you are the less your insurance will approve. I was told it would cost $1500 for a filling, when a google search said it should cost no more than $450. I got prescribed antibiotics because the pain from the cavity was preventing me from getting a root canal on another tooth. I had to be sent home. It's been 3 weeks and the antibiotics were of no help. As you can see, I am here now.
Sometimes I forget how privileged I am to be living in a country with free healthcare. But even without that, private clinics charge around 50-100€ (around the same in dollars) for fillings. $1500 sounds insane. I'm so sorry :(

I’m 22 and have 2 missing bottom molars and one that’s ready to go, completely rotted and broken in my mouth. I went to the dentist to have the remaining roots of one of my missing broken molars removed only to find that the tooth next to it was now infected. So I had to pay $1000 WITH my insurance that I pay for out of pocket bc my job doesn’t offer any, and I didn’t even have the tooth extracted yet, going back Monday! After that happens I have two implants and another root canal to look forward to, and that’s just the cavities that I’m aware of. I have decided that I have wasted too much of my life letting my poor teeth bring me down, which has only really been the past few years as my parents stopped having me go to the dentist when I was in high school. I wish I knew then how important it was. If you’re still young reading this and have insurance coverage of any kind please explain to your parents why it is so important. My missing teeth have greatly affected my confidence, quality of life and overall health. I have decided that i am giving this to the Father and laying it at his feet, by his stripes we are healed! I have autism and find it very hard to maintain the health of my teeth, in terms of brushing. I had an anxiety attack around half an hour ago, because I’ve just noticed I have a tooth that is now beginning to rot, it has a large hole in it and is a very dark brown. The rest of my teeth are yellow, and full with small holes, and I am terrified. I am so upset with myself that it’s gotten this bad, and I keep questioning why it’s so hard for me to do simple tasks like brushing my teeth. Going to the dentist is very overstimulating for me, and I always have bad panic attacks. I know I need to go to my dentist to have my teeth fixed, but I’m just so scared. This video really helped me to calm my nerves, at least for now, and I’m going to brave it and book an appointment with my local dentist. 🤞
If you're putting off daily teeth brushings and flossing because it overwhelms you to see all of the damage and imperfections then try dimming the lights and not getting up close to inspect every tiny imperfection. Might sound strange to some people but at this point doing so overwhelms you and prevents you from brushing at all. Save the nit picking for the dentist and ask for something to calm your nerves beforehand. Look for a Dentist that offers dental sedation. Don't give up. One step at a time.
Tell your dentist you have really bad anxiety too. They'll usually help you out with some medication. Like a Valium or something before you go in. Even for a cleaning. They'll do that for you. I do it all the time when I come in.
Not every tooth cavity is also caused by caries! There are other reasons, such as a fracture of the top layer of the tooth due to teeth grinding or external impact. Also, small cavities should rather not be filled and should be observed. Because sometimes much more tooth substance is removed by drilling than by the small hole. Last but not least: Sometimes tooth decay can be stopped or starved out. The damage of the (small) hole remains but it does not progress. So not every hole necessarily needs to be drilled and filled.

I thought I was having a toothache one time, but it turned out to be TMJ. Dentist treated with low dose valium for stress/anxiety and that worked. No bad tooth 😊

My dentist was dumb I had this pain for two years straight. I told them "hey I got pain in this tooth" They checked and said it was fine But this year they actually said it was a cavity. Over the 2 years it's became even bigger
My problems started by my dentist, he was ex army and masochistic . He used to stick a pointed instrument in my tooth and say oh you need a filling ,he knew I was scared and used to say when you want me to stop grip the arm of the chair, but when I did he ignored me. I was always in a sweat when I left. I was a child and was told you must have needed treatment but I think the more procedures they performed the more they got paid. He got a real kick out of terrifying me with the drill I have always had a phobia about dentists since.
I had my son’s molars coated with plastic when he was around 8 or 10 years old and he has only had 2 fillings put in over the past 20 years. A pediatric dentist did it, it was around $60 per tooth
I didn't know this existed either. I will definitely be asking about this for my son. He will be six this August and he's got his adult, top molars. I didn't realize they we're his adult teeth so I also didn't realize his teeth had been pushed so close together and that food was getting stuck up in the same tooth on each side, on the top so he ended up with a cavity on each side and then the tooth behind it also got a cavity on each side. There's one on the bottom that they're watching so they gave him the fluoride treatment at home. We have well water so there's no fluoride but we don't really drink that water anyway. The way that food is made these days, the amount of sugar in everything, I just think this would be a really good thing to do but for some reason I highly doubt insurance will cover something like that
@@mhsunny2317 Actually not exactly. Its a purified pharmaceutical grade of clove oil. Basically the same but not exactly. And when it comes to pain and effectiveness "basically" ain't good enough.
I have found silver fillings to last longer and the teeth that I have had white fillings have caused more complications where I needed a root canal. I think the only reason white fillings are pushed is due to the money the dentist makes and how often you have to go back for it to be retreated.
I’d prefer having filings that need to be redone once again, rather than having a visible filling on my own teeth. I guess people have different preferences for certain things
I’ve been trying to do anything for my teeth. Ever since I got my braces off is when my teeth got worse with decay and tarter. The only thing I did was drink some of mountain dews to stay awake in school when I was at college. I even had a water pick and brushed twice a day. I’m in my 30s now. I was trying to floss the other night for first time and I tried not hit my tooth that has mercury filling and I lost part of the tooth somewhere. I wish I could go to the dentist. I've noticed my cavities on my FRONT teeth for a very long time now, and now it's decaying I'm honestly surprised it hasn't gone VERY bad since it's been a long time... I don't have the money to go to the dentist so all I can do is brush my teeth and hope for the best
There are usually free dentist or low cost dentist in whatever City you live in or a bigger city that is close to you. I live near Atlanta and they have a free dental clinic but you have to win like this phone Lottery system type thing. It sounds really weird but you just have to be one of the first 25 people to call every Monday and then the volunteer will call you back. I got lucky because Christmas and New Years both fell on a Monday in 2017 so I was probably one of the only ones that called both times and they ended up calling me back. Haven't even been able to go in over a year now because I literally have no one to watch my son and my family all live three hours away or more

Chew on some clove spice it help numb the pain and kill some bacteria too. Use salt water to gargle to reduce acidity.. Search on youtube here how to repair /reduce tooth decay. Hope it helps some.
This was reassuring. This might seem mad but I've had a cavity which has deepened to the point where it's beginning to hurt a little so now demands my attention. I put it down to my love of hot cocoa to begin with. I have now stopped taking sugar altogether. Eating cheese and drinking green tea slows the bacteria. I drink plenty of water as well of course. NO MORE SUGAR!!!

You have good reason to be afraid. They will stick a huge needle in your mouth and tell you it’s to prevent pain, you just feel just pressure but they’re lying. It’s painful
So grateful for free, accessible life/ health care tips we are getting these days...In a way It's so easy to push the blame on brushing wrong and having sweet tooth or acidic food since it's obvious.. but never mention that brushing harshly can harm the enamel and expose to decay..Even though you always asked them.. Imagine always eating stuff drinking tea/coffee , fried or confectionery after brushing in the morning then wondering about stains etc.. Lol.. Folks arnd didn't stress on the importance of getting the debris removed asap, amongst other until it was late... but what bugged me was even after taking serious care consciously brushing nicely after 4 cavities, 1 cap, cutting down sweet and sugars, soda, beverages even midnight snack habits, it didn't change my problem... later found it funny how I kept visiting for exactly the tooth beside them roughly scraping even though there's no stain..once a dentist just drilled into a perfectly fine tooth when I simply went for a routine clean up (in his defense that was a unclear vision day/ or old age) , I know it because I had my X-ray that I got the same day also I've, little experience by now... Just told him its a pain to come again and again might as well get dentures instead since it was expensive and annoying I was 25 then.. They just laughed it off.. He's skilled family dentist so yes me n mum are loyal customers🙃..also I did tell him that if the tooth beside gets affected, it's on the house (clinic's)..as its obviously due to their negligence.. Now it's my 2 wisdom tooth like 😅...tbh dentures/ all implants sound so tempting..

I have a question I'm hoping to get some insight, I'm 29 years old my wife is the same age. I barely ever brush my teeth and I never floss just being honest. I'm also a heavy smoker. My wife brushes 2 times a day and she has all sorts of tooth problems she also started using mouth wash to try and get her teeth to stop falling apart she's constantly having tooth pain because they are rotting she's had 4 or 5 removed. I still have all my teeth with no cavitys and my mouth looks healthy I think. I don't drink soda or coffee, I drink lots of water and some juice. My wife drinks coffee and soda and energy drinks she also lightly smokes. I do eat some sugary cereal every now and then and a piece of a chocolate bar every day. My diet consists of a lot of bread type things and some meat every now and then. I'm wondering why she has so many issues with her teeth she's constantly in pain from tooth decay.
Used to have really nice teeth then was homeless n jobless n my mouth went horrible. Now got life on track but at 25 I look like Jafar. Wish dental was covered in Canada :(

It's all about prevention with them, and not what we can do now, after the trauma has already occurred. Plus, putting these fake materials into our mouths to "fix" things really don't help but only compromise our teeth. I'm on a mission to find out. I had an eating disorder and that ruined my teeth, and I have four crowns a dentist gave to me when I was a young girl, just to make some money. And, I don't trust dentists, and I want my teeth back!!

I used to work for a prosthodontis and yes all this is important but we need to understand that genetics play a large part and also medication that may cause dry mouth cause dry mouth is the fastest and most common reason for tooth decay

That happened to me too but thankfully I found some natural supplements that reversed it. Honestly, It's best to treat your oral issues with natural products. I could see major improvements after 6 weeks. I would recommend that you get them rather than waiting on your dentist, I'm sure they'll work for you too

By age 11 I had to have a molar extracted and a root canal in another ( no novocaine). This was 1955. My original dentist had filled over the cavaties and this was discovered when we moved I had 33 cavaties. The second dentist saved my teeth. Fifteen years ago another dentist told me a front tooth was "leaking" and needed to be crowned along with all four of my front teeth so the "would match". A lie. I avoided going back to the dentis for 3 years until we moved. My front teeth are fine. Another dentist told me I needed a back crown replaced. Some of the porcelain had fallen off, but all the gold was there. This was 10 years ago and I still have the tooth . No problem. I now have an honest dentist. I am 78 and still have my teeth. My own saliva seemed to destroy my teeth as I brushed and flossed like crazy.

You must have very acid saliva. Teeth can lasts thousands of yrs in dirt. But will disintegrate rapidly in acid. Eat gouda cheese to make saliva alkaline.

Some of us get cavities easier no matter what. I think because of wraker enamel or less saliva production, I'm not sure but I'm the only one of four siblings who has gotten the most cavities despite brushing as much and more (when I started getting them). It's weird, and expensive even with dental insurance.

Pain is increasing by the day and my dentist can't do anything as I am allergic to local anesthesia and drilling is just impossible without numbing the sensations. It’s really hard to say unless you have your local dentist look at it. If too much of the tooth is removed than it may need to be removed but sometimes it can be saved with a crown or other therapy like a RCT
