+kardon47 one of the biggest bands in a not so mainstream genre. You won't hear most of the bands associated with ADTR on the radio, outside of rise against. If they did another tour with rise, they would get more popular. But I'm happy with where they are right now, popularity wise

Being one of the biggest ADTR fans in the world, I have to say yet again, watchmojo have no idea what they are talking about. If it means a lot to you should be in top 3 and me highway should be in at least the top 10. There are so many incredible songs tho that you can't pick just ten. But the thing that annoys me is that watchmojo pick the songs that have a music video to them as they think that makes the song automatically better than the rest because it has a video. Anyway I'm finally happy that the best band in the world is getting some more publicity.

Yeah man! That was the first song I heard by them and it has stuck with me. Loosely devised list for ME would be: (1) Mr. Highway Thinking of the End (2) Downfall of Us All (3) This is the House That Doubt Built (4) It's Complicated (5) Paranoia (6) NJ Legion Ice Tea (7) All I Want (8) Have Faith in Me I think what makes a diverse band is that they expand on their music and different people like different songs. It feels good when you're from the Ocala area and can appreciate all the local places they have in music videos. I remember my older sister used to go to their shows all the time at Easy Street when they were first starting out. The skatepark from Downfall of Us All is about a 3 minute drive from where I used to live. Adds a little extra bit of appreciation for them since they're local heroes.

Probably because Cable Car is a cover of the song 'Over my head' By The Fray. Not disagreeing but it's not their song.

The Fray made the song and was on their album in 2005, it was a cover song. However I will admit they did an amazing job on the cover

Awesome to see them getting attention. ADTR seems to quietly be favorite band for a lot of people. "Old Record" is one of my all time favorites.

I think of ADTR as some kind of modern bards. Their songs are so life-filled that it's just amazing to me. A story behind every song, every word being a continue of this story... While it makes their songs very one-sided and straight forward without much place for interpretation - they're just so good that you can't feel the empathy for the singer / character of the song. Personally i just can't choose a favorite song of theirs... However i can choose a part of a song - the ending of "Sometimes You're The Hammer, Sometimes You're The Nail" from "Common Courtesy". Such a beautiful lyrics combined with powerful instrumentals... So damn good.
