YES! I was just waiting for "The Godfather" to be #1. I can just imagine that other actors would play him as deep-voiced, gruff, and loud (or like Clark Gable or Gregory Peck) since that's the stereotypical portrayal of a Mafia leader, but Brando thought outside the box and gave us the calm grandfatherly type with a hoarse voice that still has a natural authority and subtle intensity

Depends if they make The Mask closer to the comics... Which is more about a series of people pushed into committing horrific murders due to a cursed mask that passes from person to person. Ipkis was a COMPLETE asshole there and the stuff Ipkis does in the movie is actually done more by Detective Kellaway when he wore the Mask.

@@GDCDGC As I said in my original comment I don't think there's any desire on their part to do so. There's little to gain by doing so but plenty to lose if recasting him went wrong. It's better to let the character remain part of his legacy. It's not even like they don't have other male characters they could give more prominent roles instead, I'd love to see Winston Duke get a bigger role in BP2 for instance

I feel like Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith should've taken the Harry Potter spot instead of Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson. The kids were good, but Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith really brought their characters to life and practically disappeared into their roles. After seeing the movies I can't read the books without picturing them as Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall.
