It took me a while to start liking my own culture (my parents are from Congo) and it lowkey took a pandemic, because there are not really any African party's anymore. I've started missing the African dance culture and food's from different countries in Africa (Congo, Nigeria, Sudan etc...) So I started to finally start embracing and learning about my culture and other African cultures.

I'm Southy (SA) but I think you should have featured more of Congolese dances as those guys can dance a lot - eg musicians Fally Ipupa, Bill Kalonji, Ferre Gola, Defao etc. Their moves are always on fire.

This is so biais, although I can agree that the South African Gwara gwara deserves the first place but not for 2020 may be A Year or 2 years back, and as usual, when this is done by an English speaking person, it goes to Nigeria, Ghana or South Africa like any other thing that always divides Africa. I am an Ivorian living in South Africa, I think the Congolese on the continent have the best dance moves, and there are as well Ivory Coast and Tanzania, Cameroun, Senegal... are you kidding me? For Ghana to be all over the place, you have to be a Ghanaian to make such biais choices, no offense, and by the way, the so call kupe real name coupé is originally from Ivory Coast.

For me Shakushaku dance is better than Vosho dance / Pilolo ,Alkayida ,Malwhede, Shoki are the worst dance / ( wow i like very Odi dance , ). AZONTO is the best dance est très dificile . Azonto , Gwara and Shakushaku sont les meilleurs dance in all Africa continant ❤💖😍
