First of all, thanks for your videos; they greatly help us. We still can't decide between the Lopesan Costa Bavaro and the Margaritaville. The Margaritaville looks incredible but is very small compared to the Lopesan, which also has many activities to do all around. It feels like there's little to do in Margaritaville. What do you think? This is a romantic trip with my girlfriend, but I also want to have fun besides the pool and the sea. Any suggestion?

More low key and romantic go with majestic mirage, if you want more crowd and but better entertainment majestic elegance. Elegance is also renovating their rooms right now. Food is better at mirage though.

Hola! Both resorts and beautiful and you can't go wrong with any of them, however, between Lopesan and Margaritaville we would pick Lopesan because it has a better beach, it's bigger with lots of secluded areas, the pools are beautiful and the the atmosphere is great. Hope this helps! =)

Crazy how different trips are for different people. Had the worst experience at the Bávaro princess. Grounds and hotel were nice but food and service were awful. Just stayed at the Lopesan and was incredible, no comparison

I enjoy watching your video's but I'm a bit confused at your ranking. Margaritaville is 3/20? I've seen your videos on ranking, shouldn't that number be higher instead of lower?

Hi! 😀 in this case the number is not a score but a place in a ranking. Out of the 20 resorts we’ve visited it is the 3rd best. 3/20

This was very informative about the different resorts you stayed at, but confused about the video being titled Top 10 and you had shared in this video some of your lowest ranking resorts out of 20m.

It’s because it’s the top 10 out of the 23 we’ve visited so far. This means there are 13 with lower scores 🙂

Hi I have a question for you ? Any of the resorts that you been have soft bed. We just got home. We spend one week in Barceló bávaro palace. We didn’t like the bed. The bed are to hard. My daughter has back surgery . She was in pain the all week. We like the beach, the pool , the people but the bed made are stay no good. Thank you

Definitely! however, it's hard to remember which hotels have the softer beds since they're scrambled together in our brains! We just returned from the Hard Rock Punta Cana and the beds were very comfortably on the soft side.

No, we have yet to visit both of them 🙂 Also, please note that this video only ranks the hotels we've visited so far in 2023 NOT all the hotels we've visited which are 21 in total.

It was a bit confusing at first to me as well. This video only ranks resorts they've reviewed in 2023. They reviewed Lopesan in 2022 so it's not included in the video. Click on link at the bottom of the description to get the full rankings. Lopesan is #1

Wow !! Margarita ville ranked 8 on Coolist and his complaint was the disgusting rocky beach. Why did you have the opposite review $$$$?

We are not Coolist and he is not us. Different people experience things differently and have different tastes. As simple as that 🙂. You are implying we get paid for a positive opinion which is not true; we pay for ALL the hotels with our own money. Thanks for watching!

Hola Shannon! Lopesan is on our top 3 Punta Cana resorts, this was just a ranking of the resorts we visited in 2023 at the moment of the video, we visited Lopesan in 2022 and that's why is not on this list. We should be making a top 10 all time resorts soon =)

Wow you think that the Barcelo property has decent food when compared to the ones listed as below? Because the food in that hotel is horrible. I would not recommend that place to anybody
