Went to Lowe's about 2 days ago and the Jorgensen 48" parallel clamps were on sale for $39.99 each. 24" was going for $29.99 each. The box set of 4 (2@6" and 2 @12"), plus a bonus 4" clamp was $29.99. When you get to the register, have them look up the on-line sale price and you can get them for $19.99.

The fence on that dewalt table is fantastic. Been wanting a planer for a while.

Missed that DeWalt planer deal on Amazon but I found that same "X" combo new on Ebay for about $10 cheaper from CPO Outlet which is an official DeWalt retailer. Shipped for free and just got it today.

Skil has a good 15amp 2.5hp digital display router for under $150 plunge and static base. Great deal with or without a sell. They also have a 10am for $90… Jorgensen 48” parallel clamps were $39.99 at lowes, unsure if they still have the deal. Rigid miter saw (delta Cruzer style) was on sale at Home Depot

Having borrowed a contractor friend’s Makita track saw many times I grabbed this deal. Those Jorgensen’s clamps are a good deal but I have a set and for some of the reasons you’ve pointed out and my own experience I’d go with something else

...got that Bosch 1617 dual base kit last year after I went to buy a replacement for my 30yo P-C 690 and found that porter-cable no longer manufactures or sells routers anymore. What...I thought to myself...could replace a PC router? I looked at several stores at a couple of fine options, then checked Amazon to see what they had. Must have hit the sweetest spot in the algorithm because I got the 1617 kit, another 1617 fixed base, edge guide (the NICE one) and the Bosch-specific guide bushing set delivered to my doorstep for just a couple bucks past three Benjamin's. I like the soft start, the variable speed and the feel...the 'heft' of the 1617's. I keep one in my router table and the other is my freehand go-to. Seems every bit as good as the one it replaced. I did seriously consider the DW 618. Solid, solid router with soft-start and VS, too. The dual base set was outta my price-point, but the fixed base can be found at the $190 range most days. My thing is memories of the battery fiasco that nearly killed DeWalt before they even got off the ground. I remember the ¶¥£√π© way warranties were denied, and swore then (circa 1997-8) I would never buy a DeWalt tool...corded or cordless. They've come a long way since then.

Check different places for these things. Lowes has the DW735x for $600.00 Amazon has it for $728.00

I purchased FOUR of the Jorgensen 48" bar clamps at Lowes for a total of $151.92. That's less then half the Amazon price.

I have that Bosch sander and I absolutely love it. That's a screaming price.

Lowes had the clamps 30-40% off about a week ago got a bunch and saved a ton of money

The Makita track saw is a smokin' deal, unfortunately, I can't justify getting one right now. Dang... Agree on the DeWalt 735x planer. I've owned mine for a number of years, and it's become a necessary machine for me. Bought the 2.25hp Bosch router a month ago. Wish I had waited...

Quick note. If you’re thinking of the track saw as a Christmas present, you might have an issue. I ordered it a little while ago, and at the checkout was quoted Jan 11+ was the projected delivery date.

I currently have a DeWalt 12” sliding miter saw I bought in 2018. I’m debating with deals right now to switch to a Bosch 12” slider. What are thoughts people have? Also what are the thoughts on Bosch’s dual mode sander compared to 3M? $100 or so price difference.

I have to add my two cents on the Bora miter saw stand. It has to be the worst purchase I have ever made. It is very heavy and hard to move around. It is so wide, it won't fit through a 36" door. I absolutely hate this thing, and as soon as I have time I am replacing it.

For the Jorgenson clamps, Lowe's has a much better sale. The 24" for $30 and 48" for $40.

The two pack of Jorgensen parallel clamps I don't think is that great of a deal. Lowes has the 24 inches clamps on sale for $29.98 and the 48 inch for $39.98 each.

For the Jorgensen Parallel Clamps, you should have a link to Lowe's. Your amazon link has a pair of 48" for a significantly higher price than at Lowe's (about 50% higher).

I paid full price for the Makita track saw and literally just bought the plunge router like 2 weeks ago. Fml lol.
