When it comes to spending my stationery budget I prefer to support small domestic businesses like Goldspot, Pen Boutique, Jet Pens, etc. Sometimes it may cost a little more but I think it's important to support small businesses and local communities. 🥰
Same! I also love goulet! I've only bought one pen from Amazon and it came broken. Feels better to support these other companies and their costumer services are always amazing!
I have one of those Wancai mini and I really enjoy writing with it. The pencel case looks good. Looks like you could maybe use it to carry one or two ink bottles in there as well.
This is great, thank you for all the info! I just got into fountain pens and I have a Lamy Safari so I'm learning a lot about cartridges and using other inks.
Very interesting. The Iroshizuku price is very good, as are the crazy prices on Sailor, but I don't see the same price drop on Pilots or Platinums, and I can't understand why.
If you buy it from Japan Plaza it’ll cost you around £8 (I bought mine for £3)… there’s shipping, but if you get a pen it’s worth it - my Capless/Vanishing Point was £100 😅
I’ve been looking closely at it and the bottles are very inconsistent. The Pilot Iroshizukus on pictures some of the bottles aren’t filled up, missing the dip in the bottom and some don’t. Not sure how trustworthy it is..
I have smeared it before. For journaling, I highlight the area, wait a moment, then write over the highlighter. Works, but isn't a great solution all the time.
