Mulan 8. Cinderella (just because of how iconic it it) 9. Fantasia 10. Tangled Honorable Mentions: Little Mermaid, Meet the Robinsons, Emperor's New Groove, Hercules, Jungle Book
Are all of you people being manipulated by somebody to keep saying it all the time or are you just hypnotised by some secret organization? Either way, this can't be legit because the film is not even top 10 material.
@jonnytest fifatalkbrain I have been doing nothing but sitting down to write these comments Also, stfu, just accept that there is someone in the world that doesn't like a movie you do
Hunchback of Notre Dame is extremely underrated. It isn't afraid to show subjects like lust, prejudice, and murder, and it still has great music and a heartwarming moral behind it. It should be higher than most on this list
10) Sleeping Beauty 9) Alice in Wonderland 8) Hercules 7) Pinocchio 6) The Little Mermaid 5) Peter Pan 4) Aladdin 3) Cinderella 2) Beauty and the Beast 1) Lion King Honorable Mentions: Snow White, Frozen, Tangled, Jungle Book, Lilo and Stitch, Brother Bear, Tarzan, Fantasia... (I can name so much more because they're all so good)
1. The Lion King 2. The Little Mermaid 3. Beauty and the Beast 4. Aladdin 5. Mulan 6. The Emperor's New Groove 7. Wreck It Ralph 8. Tangled 9. Cinderella 10. Sleeping Beauty
sean perko I don't care. Wreck-It Ralph is one of my favorites. And so is Tangled, which is also computer animated. There's nothing wrong liking the new Disney films.
To be honest, I don't mind Snow White being the number one, solely because it was the first film ever to use hand-drawn animation for the entire film and was successful enough to spawn the rest of the Disney animated films we know and love today...
My list would be 10. Cinderella 9. Alice In Wonderland 8. The Aristocats 7. Bambi 6. Peter Pan 5. Tangled (great character development from both protagonists, fantastic adventure, music was okay) 4. Aladdin (good comic relief w/ Robin Williams, great music, awesome antagonist) 3. Tarzan (FANTASTIC music) 2. Frozen (modern-day classic, and very enjoyable with the whole family) 1. The Lion King (everyone knows why this movie deserves #1) Honorable Mentions: The Little Mermaid (good movie, just lacking character development from Ariel) Atlantis (always a good watch, just didn't make the cut) 101 Dalmatians (personal vendetta of antagonist was interesting, just not very deep)
Julian Blake Thank you my friend, Thank you. I saw it in band and had to write 20 facts. I turned in this: 1. Awkward music 2. Random crap 3. Weird pictures 4-20. More Awkward music, random crap, and extremely weird pictures Anyone can Argue with me if they want but I still got an A on the assignment.
My top 10 (jmo): 1. Hunchback of Notre Dame - best music EVER. And oh so deliciously dark. 2. Lion King - best all-rounder in emotion, plot, and music 3. Pocahontas - STUNNING soundtrack with the wisest female lead ever. 4. Aladdin - music plus Robin Williams. Enough said:) 5. Tarzan - awesome music by Phil Collins with simple yet touching story 6. Meet the Robinsons - THE FEELS. *sniff* so underrated that it's almost offensive. 7. Beauty and the Beast - realistic love story with modern female lead 8. Mulan - strong female lead, great wit and emotion 9. Treasure Planet - stellar animation with engaging plot 10. Fox the the Hound - my go-to tearjerker that's still a happy ending *Honorable mentions!* Little Mermaid - GORGEOUS music and dreamy visuals (could've been #10) Peter Pan - what a great classic, lighthearted yet bittersweet Sword and the Stone - witty and hilarious Tangled - recent film from Disney that's actually legit! *surprise!* Smart and witty Atlantis - my favorite film from when I was a kid.
Ben Gundersen It was produced by Pixar but released by Walt Disney Pictures but I can see why you wouldn't technically say its a Disney movie...Same thing with Night before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach regarding Tombstone Pictures

Lord Jeffries While there are some exceptions to the Disney DTV movies, most of them are lazy continuations of works that are either widely loved or cult classics and even some of the other animated films from Disney have never gotten such. The reasons why the people care is because they don't want to see their favorite movies tarnished but it varies on people's opinions (for better or worse).
My Top 10: 1. Beauty and the Beast 2. The Lion King 3. Zootopia 4. Wreck-It Ralph 5. Tarzan 6. Big Hero 6 7. Mulan 8. Tangled 9. Frozen 10. Aladdin Honorable mentions: The Little Mermaid, The Jungle Book, Pinocchio.
#1 The Lion King #2 Beauty & the Beast #3 Pinnochio #4 Peter Pan #5 The Jungle Book #6 The Lil Mermaid #7 Alladin #8 The Aristacats #9 Bambi #10 Tarzan
Because, while I know I enjoyed the movie, it is a flawed movie, go see Lindsey Ellis's video about it to see why, and many other movies are objectively better than it.
Here is my top 10: 1. The Lion King 2. Beauty and the Beast 3. The Hunchback of Notre Dame 4. Sleeping Beauty 5. Pinocchio 6. The Little Mermaid 7. Aladdin 8. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves 9. Tarzan 10. Bambi I think Cinderella is a more important movie for the studio than an actually great movie.
JJdaPK How can you say cinderella is not a great movie it is a classic movie it has great songs great characters great animation for its time and overall a great story.
1. Lion King 2. Aladdin 3. Peter Pan 4. Fantasia 5. Pinocchio (I haven't watched any disney princess movies ever... And I haven't watched most others since I was like 4)

10. Aladdin (exluding the song "A whole new world". I know people think it's a stroke of genius, but I just can't stand it, especially not in that film. It just hasn't got the same touch to it as the other songs) 9. The Princess and the Frog 8. Cinderella 7. Tarzan 6. Tangled 5. The Hunchback of Notre Dame 4. Pocahontas 3. The AristoCats 2. Beauty and the Beast 1. The Lion King
Nadia Kosviner No problem! The Lion King is not my #1 but almost all of my favorite movies are on there (except The Little Mermaid). Also, I like how the newest Disney Princess movie isn't on here. I'm glad you haven't been brainwashed by the media :)
My list. I think that these are the best movies but this is my order. 1.Hercules 2.Lion King 3.Tarzan 4.Mulan 5.Bambi 6.Peter Pan 7.Alladin 8.Snow White 9.Beauty and The Beast 10.Cinderella
Everyone has their own opinions of the best Disney films, so there truly is no #1. To those complaining about story too, Disney is known for putting their own ideas into already existing stories so of course things will be different. Its an ADAPTATION, not a clone of the story. I look at Disney films because of their artistry, design and use of colors. The designs of each movie is amazing and it matches with the films perfectly. But oh well, my opinion of course.
Mulan and Hunchback of Notre Dame are two of my personal favorites. Also, Emperor's New Groove almost never gets mentioned and it might not be on many people's top 10 list, but it always puts a smile on my face.
My Top 10 1. The Lion King 2. Beauty and The Beast 3. Aladdin 4. Hercules 5. The Little Mermaid 6. Sleeping Beauty 7. 101 Dalmatians 8. Lilo and Stitch 9. Pinocchio 10. I know its dark, but i love huncback of notre dame and no one is giving it attention, its animation, songs, and soundtrack are amazing and works of art
I don't know about anyone else, but Pinocchio scared the crap out of me. "When You Wish Upon A Star" is incredible, but the rest of the movie is just...frightening and freaky :P

I can tell the difference between the classics and "trash", you didn't liked Frozen, that's ok, but that doesn't give you the right of picking on people who don't have your same opinion. I enjoyed a lot Frozen, but I also love the other disney classics (Steamboat Willie, Snow White, Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, etc.). Frozen was a good movie (in my opinion) and I didn't matter all the "flaws" it had. I respect your opinion and you should learn to respect others. Have a nice day. :)
Well actually I liked The Lion King 2. It reminded me of why I love The Lion King. It had a great soundtrack, great voice actors (including the ones who returned to reprise there roles) and even though it sort of used the same storyline as the first one , ruling out Mufasa's death and Simba running away, it still added a few things that were new like adding Zira who sort of reminds me of Lady Macbeth because of her power. Although she isn't as malicious and evil as Scar I still think she makes a great villan. So yeah I thought it was actually pretty good.
10.Mulan 9.Aladdin 8.Robin Hood 7.The Hunchback of Notre Dame 6.The Fox and the Hound 5.Tarzan 4.The Beauty and the Beast 3.Pinocchio 2.The Jungle Book 1.The Lion King Honorable Mentions: to many to count

Ugh!!! For Gods sake people! This is a list of the GREATEST DISNEY MOVIES OF ALL TIME!!! Not the last 2 decades! The Lion King will always be in the Top 3 of any Disney List but when it comes to 1939-NOW! There were better movies and songs. And thats coming from an 80's baby and 90's kid. As for Mulan, we get it. Shes underrated, but shes no Top 10.

my top 10: 1. The Lion King 2. Alladin 3. Tarzan 4. Mulan 5. Beauty and the Beast 6. Pinnochio 7. Robin Hood 8. Lilo & Stitch 9. Pocahantas 10. Hercules
You gotta be freakin kiddin me, in WHAT world, is the lion king better than Beauty and the Beast, Fantasia, Pinocchio or even Bambi? And what the heck is Alice in Wonderland doing there an in front of The Little Mermaid?__? this is absolutely ridiculous.
Here are my favorite #Disney movies (nothing by Pixar, by the way): 1. Tangled (obviously, because I'm in it, haha! 😆) 2. The Lion King 3. Aladdin 4. Frozen 5. Beauty & The Beast 6. Big Hero 6 7. The Emperor's New Groove 8. Cinderella 9. Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs 10. Pinocchio
Are all of you people being manipulated by somebody to keep saying it all the time or are you just hypnotised by some secret organization? Either way, this can't be legit because the film is not even top 10 material. Also, stop trying to act like God, if you want that thing to be on the top, than make your own video (that nobody will watch anyway)
My Top 10: 10. Fantasia (1940) 9. Zootopia (2016) 8. Hercules (1997) 7. Big Hero 6 (2014) 6. Meet The Robinsons (2007) 5. The Lion King (1994) 4. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1996) 3. Snow White started Disney. We wouldnt have the other films if it weren't for that one. It deserves to be number one. Considering that Snow White was created almost a hundred years ago, it has held up great, and I still enjoy it.
Jade Harley at first when your comment came up i couldn't see the one above, so i thought you were talking about Aladdin and i was like WHAT!!!!! Aladdin and Ferris Bueller's Day Off are my two favorite movies.
