The most overlooked animated movie ever is missing: Over the Hedge. Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling, Steve Carrell, Wanda Sykes, Avril Lavigne, Eugene Levy Catherine O’Hara Nick Nolte William Shatner
AW I haven't finished this video left, but I remember loving Over the hedge so much. Who did Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy play in that movie? I just finished Schitt's Creek and absolutely loved it, and I'm finding many of that cast hidden in some of my favorite projects!
Of all the films on this list, THE PRINCE OF EGYPT is the one I most enjoy watching over and over again. I still get the tingles every time I watch the burning bush scene, for its amazing visuals, coupled with Hans Zimmer's hauntingly beautiful score, helps me to imagine how I might feel when I finally come face-to-face with God. Val Kilmer certainly did well when he voiced God and Moses in this scene.
Seriously, not even an HM to Kung Fu Panda? Jack Black , Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Ian McShane, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, James Hong...
Or Kung Fu Panda 2? 1. Lord Shen is voiced by Gary Oldman 2. Soothsayer is voiced by Michelle Yeoh 3. Boss Wolf is voiced by Danny McBride 4. Master Thundering Rhino is voiced by Victor Garder 5. Master Storming Ox: is voiced by Dennis Haysbert And 6. Master Croc is voiced by Jean-Claude Van Damme
I'd say that the "Cars" franchise has had great voices chosen for their characters. Owen Wilson as McQueen, Larry the Cable Guy as Mater, Bonnie Hunt as Sally and of course Paul Newman as Doc Hudson
Movies that should’ve been on the list: 1. Zootopia: Gennifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, and even Brazilian Singer Shakira as Gazelle 2. Cars: Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Michael Keaton, and the late Paul Newman as Doc Hudson 3. Trolls World Tour: Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Rachel Bloom and a collection of singers 4. Gnomeo and Juliet: James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, and Jason Stathem And 5. Spider-Man into the Spider-verse: Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld and a whole team cast of Spider-Men
With Gnomeos & Juliet u forgot Patrick Stewart as William Shakespeare and Michael Caine as Lord Redbrick. Also Jim Cummings who's mostly known as voice of WINNIE THE POOH and Tigger! But in this movie he was Featherstone.
In my book the original Lion King will always superior to the live action because James Earl Jones still sends a chill down my spine everytime he speaks.
My 12 year old self had her mind blown when her celeb crush was voicing a character in a Disney animated feature film. Then again, there wasn’t a girl’s locker or folder at any school that didn’t have a Jonathon Taylor Thomas poster or pic in it somewhere during the 90’s.
I love the fact that James Earl Jones and Madge Sinclair played the King and Queen in both Lion King and Coming to America, and of course we had Mathew Broderick and Nathan Lane team up again.
The last unicorn, 1982. It had a big number of celebrities way before hiring A-list actors for animated films became a trend. Mia Farrow, Angela Lansbury, Christopher Lee, Jeff Bridges, Alan Arkin.
Here's one I know that has a large voice cast, well not from a movie but it's "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" (2004) which has celebrities like Samuel L. Jackson, James Woods, and David Cross. Underrated ones like Clifton Powell, Clifton Collins Jr. and James Yaegashi. Rappers like Young Maylay, MC Eiht, and Ice T. And as you can tell, this ranked on "The Guinness World Records of 2009 In Gaming" for having such a large voice cast for a video game around its time. 861 to be exact.
@@mainstreamerchannel9919 Me Too and The Plot is Not Really Good in My Mind Cause Don Leo Turns Good Cause Villains Are Suppose To Lose Not Turn Good in Animated Movies!
It throws me so much that Matthew McConaughey s the one voicing the koala. The whole time I was watching Sing, I thought it was Stanley Tucci. I was positive, then I was looking up the cast a day later, and found out it was McConauhey. I went back to the movie to try and detect signs, but my brain was still telling me it was Tucci. I saw those clips just now, of the cast recording sessions, and it just seems like someone else is speaking through McConauhey.
Funny that they only mention Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, and Christopher Plummer with 9 when they ALSO had Martin Landau, John C. Reilly, and Crispin Glover. Pretty much the entire cast was big name celebs. The only lesser known voices were Fred Tatascoire, a voice actor in numerous movies and shows, and Alan Oppenheimer, SKELETOR.
Nick Kroll used the same German accent that he used for Gunter when he voiced Professor Pee-Pee Dirrheanstein Poopypants Esquire in the Captain Underpants movie
The Transformers: The Movie The film features the voices of Eric Idle, Judd Nelson, Leonard Nimoy, Casey Kasem, Robert Stack, Lionel Stander, John Moschitta Jr., Peter Cullen, and Frank Welker, and saw the final film roles for Orson Welles who died before the films release and Scatman Crothers who died after the release of the film.
this list needs to have a part 2 .And dont forget to add Sinbad legend of the seven seas. This movie have Catherine Zeta jones Brad Pitt Michelle Pfiefer and Joseph Fiennes as the voice actors. If think you should consider it sometime.Great video btw
I would mention My Little Pony: The Movie (2017), because aside from Mane 6 voiceovers from Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Andrea Limban, Tabitha St. Germain, we got Sia, Emily Blunt, Micheal Pena, Taye Diggs, Zoe Saldana, and so much more!
That's a good one and the upcoming My Little Pony movie this year has Vanessa Hudgens, Kimiko Glenn, James Marsden, Sofia Carson, Phil LaMarr and more!
Here’s a fact: TransLink, Vancouver’s public transit company, hired Seth Rogen to record some announcements for on board buses and the SkyTrain. While the voice for SkyTrain station announcements remained to be Loreen Reagan, Seth Rogen recorded announcements about transit etiquette, such as moving to the back of a bus to make room and not to wear perfume on public transit
In a way I think it's a shame that Hollywood A-listers get cast in these movies because it means that actors who only do voice acting for a living don't stand much of a chance.
@@frankieseward8667 Yes I am aware of that. My point was that people like Nolan North or Laura Bailey who has done so many amazing performances in video games and animated shows, will never get a fair chance at getting cast in these movies because they are not Hollywood actors.
4:01 =THAT'S WHY!!! No wonder the Witch was familiar in Into The Woods... I watched Anastasia first in G6 and Into the Woods in my 2nd year of College... The latter was my introduction to her name and face... Like Dang that voice was high!!!
The cast in the remake of the lion king is just unbelievable I think more star struck if you’re not happy with what I just said sue me it’s only my opinion
While The Lion King has got powerhouse voice performances, Nathan Lane and Rowan Atkinson were slightly dramatic before The People VS O.J. Simpson: An American Crime Story is Nathan Lane's most dramatic role of his career.
I would've included The Lego Movie 2 over the first installment as they added more actors like Michael Cera, Tiffany Haddish, Maya Rudolph, Richard Ayoade, Bruce Willis and Jason Momoa. 🤷🏽♀️
70: James Earl Jones is King for sure Two iconic fathers; Darth Vader and Mufasa, can’t beat that Also, I think James A Janisse (kill count of horror movies on RU-vid) said he or his dad was in Sleepaway Camp
Onward, Spies in Disguise, Kung Fu Panda Trilogy, How to Train Your Dragon Trilogy, Shark Tale, Megamind, Soul, Zootopia, Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse
Here me out for the next count down! Breakout (from the Disney norm) songs from a Disney Female stars like….. Can’t be Tamed by Miley Cyrus Crank it up by Ashley Tisdale Can’t keep my Hands to Myself - Selene Gomez Neon Lights by Demi Lovato Ooops I did it again - Britney Spears Stranger - Hilary Duff almost love - sabrina carpenter Well you get the point 😉
So glad the lion King got the top spot. That is my all-time favorite animated movie. It came out when I was a teenager in the 90s. Yes, they’ve done a reboot. So, not the same. I’ve seen it a million times, and I can just laugh and laugh at Timon and Pumba!!
I already wrote this in the comment section of a similar top, but anyway... As someone who watched most of these movies dubbed in Italian, I'm discovering that so many famous people worked on the original versions!
That movie called "9" is so overlooked it's probably more underappreciated than spirit stallion of the Cimarron not just cause of it's voice cast but the acting and story is really good
What about another dream works classic, Monsters vs Aliens. It should have made at least honerable mentions. This cast is amazing. Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Will Arnett, Raine Wilson, Amy Poehler, Seth Rogen, Ed Helms, John Krasinski, etc. I rest my case.
Now THAT is something I never knew. Taron Egerton performed I'm Still Standing in both Sing and Rocketman, which are two VERY different movies in terms of tone, taste and target audience, but both deliver on highly musical endings just based on that.
Monsters vs aliens had a very stacked cast but got overlooked alot of the time, madagascars films were stacked especially in 3, kung fu panda's films, most of the ice age films, planet 51, megamind, cloudy with a chance of meatballs and of course shark tale all had pretty stacked casts too
In my opinion, Horton Hears a Who (2008) should be on this list. Side cast: Amy Poehler, Seth Rogen, Isla Fisher, Will Arnett, Selena Gomez, Jesse McCartney, Joey King, Jonah Hill, Niecy Nash, Dan Folger. Main Cast: Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Carol Burnett The Main cast ALONE should get the movie an Oscar.
What About Antz??? You had Woody Allen, Sylvester Stallone, Danny Glover, Gene Hackman, Danny Glover, Christopher Walken, Sharon Stone, and Jennifer Lopez.
I’m glad they took the clean route with mentioning Nick Kroll’s character on Sausage Party. Also, I would’ve liked to have seen Disney have a deeper history with Hollywood A Listers in their casts, because DreamWorks has been doing it since day 1.
When I tell you that it's been years since I've watched Happy Feet and forgot that Steve Irwin was part of the cast, hearing his voice just took me back to my childhood and dammit I wanna go back :(
"Sing", "The Lion King", "Shrek 2", "Anastasia", "My Little Pony: The Movie", "Ice Age: Continental Drift", "Happy Feet", "Over the Hedge", "Ralph Breaks the Internet", "Hotel Transylvania 2" are my favorites.
