It was incredible! Although, the pineapple stole the show! I jigged and danced the entire set and as a result have been off work with strained muscles in my legs, barely able to walk. I'm back at work now but still taking it easy!

Did Týr play at Hammerfest last year? I don't recall seeing them on the line-up. Either way they are top band for me to see this weekend after finally checking them out a few days ago. Ereb Altor, Turisas (saw them once before at Sonisphere 2010), Oakenshield and Sellsword (discovered last year as support for Unleash The Archers) complete my top 5. I also look forward to the other bands you've mentioned. This is a seriously good line-up! Do you think Accursed Years are still on the bill? They're not listed on the stage times provided in the last email from HRH Vikings but there's 2 slots marked "To be confirmed".

I just watched this back for the first time (I was really rushing this video!) and thought I heard myself say Tyr were at Hammerfest 2017. I meant to say "Hellfest 2017"! My mistake! Im surprised you havent heard them by now! You'll be impressed with them live if you thought the recorded stuff was good! And shit, you're right. I suddenly can't find Accursed Years anywhere on the line up. I knew this would happen, as the HRH events aren't often very good at communicating with their audience and fans. Still, Accursed Years are worth listening to! I wonder who they've got to fill in those spaces?

@@thegothicviking1388 That makes more sense about Týr haha. No worries about the mistake, I was asking because I remember checking out all the bands on the line-up that year and I would have remembered. They're one of those bands that have been going for a while that I never got around to listening to (there are so many!). Who knows maybe Accursed Years will appear in one of those slots... Guess we won't find out until Saturday. You're right about HRH and communication, but they could at least update the website, it's been written Sellword instead of Sellsword for months 😂.

I'm really liking what I'm hearing from Accursed Years though, shame if they're not playing but I'll keep them on my radar for sure.

@@yannattack5971 And Ereb Altar rather than Ereb Altor. That's been bugging me! But didn't notice Sellword haha! Did you go to Hammerfest in 2017 then? And are you going for the full weekend for HRH Vikings? I hope to meet you properly this time and not have the hangover from hell!

@@thegothicviking1388 Ereb Altar on the band times too! Hammerfest 2017 was my first Hammerfest. I was there this year and going next year again. The festival is great. I will be there for the full weekend yes so I'm sure we'll get to meet properly 😀
