...I got here just after watching "Encanto"... and it´s true!! (btw: min 1:34 San Andres and Providencia islands are not close to Panama but Nicaragua. Min 5:02 ...sorry but knowing from first hand, no Argentine nor Peruvian influence is on Bogota´s gastronomy... is mostly Spaniard and indigenous). Great video!!
Definitely, YHWH our Creator was sooooooo inspired when He decided to make this beautiful gem in the left corner of South America, granted Colombia with His two Oceans to touch its lands; The whole country is awesomeness from YHWH; thank You Father for giving us another chance to revive our country from the horrible violence; now it's another different story. You are absolutely right. If you travel to Cali, the only risk is you want to stay or come back. 🙃 There are many other places to visit in Colombia and you will enjoy each new place you see.
@@tahlia81 Great choice. A bit of advice, as a foreigner be prepared to haggle for EVERYTHING. Things should typically be about 1/4 of the initial offering price. And taxis are a standard price everywhere.
Just got back from spending 8 days in Medellin. What an experience. Only thing id disagree with what was said about Medellin, it's still relatively dangerous for foreigners at night...I stayed in Poblado where most foreigners hang at and it's relatively safe. Don't end up in Centro all alone at night. Be respectful and youll see how nice the people of colombia are ;)
Thanks for your honest remark. It's true that in many cities of the world, being in their less touristy places at night as a "foreigner" can be risky. But we should be realistic about the poverty that exists in many urban settings and that Tourists can always be considered 'legitimate targets' for robbery.
Why el Chocó and the Amazon wasn't included on this video? I like how you did the video but was dissapointed to know that you didn't include these two places at least.
Because this is a video of introduction, more videos can be made to show many other beautiful places of Colombia, even you can make those videos and post them yourself, so that way you won't be disappointed!

There's a lot to watch here there's even a book from 2010 which have 100 places to travel around Colombia, we almost have every natural habitats volcanoes,lakes,sea,ocean, mountain, waterfall, landscape, snow, rivers, forest, Valley, desert, etc, etc.

Medellin,Colombia is my favorite place to visit because of its friendly and beautiful people, sceneries, very good food and very safe. Medellin is the only city in Colombia with metro…so it’s very easy to travel around. Only in Colombia…Colombians working in the food industry like restaurants…have to wear white aprons or white dress and hairnet…that’s mandatory.
