Hey homescones. Unfortunately I had to use some makeshift footage for two of the cars, but this top 10 is based on stats and actual racing. Hopefully you find it useful!
You forgot the fully upgraded Mclaren Senna. It has max out speed, acceleration and handling. Breaking power is 5 bars unlike most cars you mentioned in your video such as the Koenigsegg Jesko and the 24 Ours. This was still a very helpful and useful guide for the rest of my hot wheels unleashed journey. Thanks.
I think centre of gravity is something to bare in mind as well. Some cars, like the Veloci-racer or the Rad Rod are quite tall/narrow and tip over very easily when bumped or jostled while cornering. Wider, flatter cars are much more stable and handle better even if the handling stat is lower.
I believe that the KITT certainly deserves a mention here as well. Upgrade it to legendary and you get 5/6 speed, 4/6 braking power, 5/6 acceleration, 5/6 handling and 3 boost slots. A car with everything almost maxed out and 3 boosts is definitely a much better choice than some of the cars mentioned in the video, which have barely better stats but less boost power. I completed the last 12 quick races and time trials, which apparently give a lot of people trouble, on my first attempt. That's how good this car is.
The Super Legendary Bump Around is an absolute godsend. It has only 3 speed and it's rather finnicky if you drift tap a wall, but it has max acceleration and a full free boost bar to work with. That means three things; -You're the first off the start line, every time. And that also applies to whenever you reset. Free boosts don't have a charge-up timer like the Charge boosts do when you reset. -The car can rip through the tight sections of track with short straights, when all the rockets, racecars and Jesko's cannot without hitting the next wall. -Sailing through the air with boost isn't just a breeze, but probably the reason you can make half your overtakes. On custom tracks like the Dune Realm, this thing can end races without anyone else getting close.
Track Manga is one of The best cars. it has the best stats overall and two boost bars once fully upgraded. . It's an awesome drifter feels like an Initial D Car.
My personal favourite is the Time-Attaxi, not the best stats but it feels well balanced. I've also made a sweet livery so it looks like the Hornet from Daytona USA.
Honestly, alot of folks miss out on the cadillac seville, but i think cars reflect play style of the player. good all around car in general. sure speed isnt there but its great to use and keep up.
To add onto these, I'd also recommend the RD-02, Olds 442, and the Track Manga, though the Track Manga was also limited to a day 1 edition, so hopefully that also gets added as regular DLC later on.
I definitely second this, track manga is my #1 and handles IMO better than anything else, although if I’m looking to grind for coins on multiplayer the RD-02 is almost essential for winning, also the fully upgraded twin mill feels nice handling wise and has great top speed
For me personally the best car in the game is "24 ours" with it completely maxed out I 100% the game without any shortcuts. Not flexing just letting everyone know it can be done and this is the car I used. Some tracks towards the end probably took my 20+ trys but I practically mathematically found out each and every spot to boost at to maximum speed vs risk. It can be done just don't give up.
You're very patient, some of those last time attacks require some serious precision. I'm glad shortcuts exist because when making videos you get less time to play lol. And I agree, 24 Ours is a beast.
I think Bad to the Blade is the fastest car yet. When I first unlocked this, I was like 'WOAH WOAH' and the car drifts like a AE86. Specs are all great and a fast fantasy car in my opinion.
As a player with the GT Scorcher, i can confirm that is so good. I have it at rare rarity and i win many races with it. Thanks for this list. I will take it in mind. P.d: man, boost should be upgraded to more cars. I know they try to balance the game, but passing from 3 boost to 1 is quite stupid.
Definitely stupid, but it did help me go from a top 15 to top 10 as there are some great handling cars gimped by one boost lol. And yes, GT Scorcher had to make the list...
@@ATribeCalledCars last night I was making a track. Took me almost 3 hours. I didn’t use the Test function until I finished. The track didn’t work! Lol. Lessons learned
I got the legendary Street Weiner and when I went to take a pic to show one of my buddys that plays, I leaned forward with my controller in my lap and accidentally pressed the L2 button and sold it 😭 i had it favorited as well. There really should be a confirmation screen 😡
@@ATribeCalledCars I know right I was so mad I didn’t even want to keep playing because I’m trying to collect every hot wheel in the game. I got it out of a blind box and it was my best car so far. That’s why I came to this video because I wanted to see if Street Weiner was one of the best cars. Then at the end of your video you mentioned the GT Scorcher and gave me the idea to upgrade mine to legendary and it really is so good. I just pray I find the Street Weiner again. Thanks for the video!
I definitely find I do better with the easier to handle cars, although I also do okay with the duck car that's meant to be bad at handling so not sure what that means...
The 24 Ours gave me speed and the highest stats when I got it. But it was too fast to control for me. Then the Jesko came in a blind box and after maxing it out I haven't been able to look back. I'm guessing it's a shorter car because even with the exact same stats as the Ours, it feels way easier to control, even in the highest speed drifts. My favorite car, just to randomly get in a blind box and was my favorite toy as a kid because it rode and jumped way better than any other car I had, was the Dodge Deora. Probably won't use it ever with the 1 handling, but damn is it cool. Pure nostalgia!
when you got the Day 1 GT-Scorcher without even realizing it was a special offer car :P Not to mention one of my other 1st introductory blind-boxes was RD-02. Another fantastic car
@@ATribeCalledCars I would very very sad, but at the same time not surprised if that happens. I agree that all the cars on your list are very good, but using RD-02 as my main car most of the other players I race against online can't even keep up with me. And with me being a huge AcceleRacers fan I feel like this car being broken kinda makes sense, cause they were made by the Accelerons to be the best racers
I didn't get the game, but I heard that Hot Wheels is bringing back more Acceleracers cars and Cars from the Highway 35 World Race in the form of Baseline and Vert Wheeler's Deora 2 from World Race! Hope they add Vert's other cars like Power Rage and Reverb along more Drone cars. Also have special Story mode to celebrate the aniversity of the release of Acceleracers.
@@blairterry9435 I already know about this cause the info about was dropped early on the Nintendo e-shop, I just waiting for them to release then I'll have two new cars to main. Also I agree with wanting Power Rage, but I would also like to see cars from Metal Maniacs and Silencez, like Rolling Thunder and Iridium.
Bro, Sandivore is underrated ive gotten so many wins in that thing against power rockets and koenigseggs, etc. Stats dont look that nice. However once you master the sandivore it can shred most supercar users depending if you know the track or not
Winning Formula, 24 Ours, and GT-Scorcher are definitely my top three. I made my Winning Formula look like Charles Leclerc’s 2022 Formula 1 Ferrari, I made my 24 Ours look like the Mach 6, and I made my GT-Scorcher look like the Nissan Skyline r30 Super Silhouette
Personally, I love the dragon Hot Wheels cars the best. There's a total of 5 of them so far. However, my #1 favorite is the Dragon Blaster. At full potential, it has 3 boost icons and amazing speed. I even color customized my Dragon Blaster in my style.
wish we can get some callback cars as DLC, for example, the ones from Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver like towjam, (used to be my favorite) or the ones from hot wheels mechanix, the game,
It sounds like we will be getting a lot more cars over the next three DLCs and hopefully some free stuff. Would be nice to have more vehicles to collect.
Thought I'd see Street Creeper on the list. It's in a separate category....super treasure hunt. You can't upgrade it full speed 4/5 acceleration and 3 turbo slots. Looks cool too.
The Street Creeper is an absolute beast, I used it for all the toughest Time Attacks and always ended up with a few seconds to spare and now I'm using it in Online, where I can rather easily rival the Jesko and the 24 Ours
I feel like Rip Rod should be mentioned. With 3 boosts and great stats all around, it is one of my favorites to drive. I also made a Greased Lightning livery for it, soooo...
For me, it used to be 24 Ours, but the Senna is my new favorite, it has the same performance specs upgraded, but with even better brakes and an extra boost.
Im surprised the Audi Baja Blazer isnt mentioned 🤔 5 Boosts great stats all around with acceleration being the highest makes for great recovery on every track ive been on, stealing wins on multiplayer with ease, even when competing against some of the cars mentioned on its list. Also, the AE86 livery skins available are just perfect and pretty fitting, being able to do every type of drift available in the game 😎😎
why no super legendary ? you can get em from box and special offers the dragon one is a beast to be sure with 4 point acros the board and even more boosts its not bad
The fast cars definitely make a difference. I've also put some tips and tricks in the description. Not made a video of it but it's on my website. Might also help.
I just started, so only have 4 cars from boxes. the first 3 were commons, and not all that great. My 4th one however (the one after the tutorial race) was a Honda S2000, which has 3 boosts and decent Stats. I feel this was pretty lucky as it's going to be great for starting the campaign with. I have the Boneshaker from DLC pack as well (has slightly better stats, but one fewer boost) I think I will stick with my yellow Honda for now though.
I use the Honda S2000 and to me at least, I think it is the best car to use in multiplayer, I got a couple of wins and some 2nd and 3rd places in them.
Great top ten mate! This game is awesome, I would add the spider sports car to the list I got it last night and been using it eversince it's a nippy little number and handles really good too
Personally I think the Superman car is pretty good. Sure its a DLC car but it actually has some pretty good ratings at Legendary and gets four boosts to use. I'll have to work on upgrading a few of these cars though since they seem like they might be better.
So far, my favorite Hot Wheels cars to use are the Power Rocket, Fiat 500 (which I used in a lot of time trial runs), K.I.T.T., Bone Shaker, Bad To The Blade and the Night Shifter. I've recently bought the Tur-bone Charged. Oh and I also like using the Motosaurus
Well the Jesko is the successor to the legendary Agera series from the 2010s and it reflects the performance of its predecessor. I can see much of the Agera in the Jesko and can't wait for a Jesko R model a proud descendent of the legendary Agera R from 2011 to 2013.
The McLaren Senna Has been the best car I've used. Everything is maxed out except for -1 bar of braking power and it has 3 boosts. The thing is a beast.
i'm struggling with the last bunch of time trials and a couple of earlier ones, and thats with a maxed out jesko lol Also, the payouts suck and have no idea which quick races are required for the trophy as i'm at around 120 ish races and no trophy.
Some of the last time trials (such as the one with 1:19 and 1:20 requirements) require a shortcut unless you are a driving god. If you're close but no cigar, try looking around for places to jump off. Not sure about the trophy though.
I beat all unleashed times with the "24 ours" car maxed out. Without any cheats or short cuts. It took alot of practice. Just learn the tracks and pretty much mathematically learn when to boost. Best of luck.
For serious, even on noob easy mode those time trials are difficult, I have no patience for them even after doing flawless runs not hitting or bumping anything at all....yeah yeah yeah I suck blah blah blah but I get 1st place in every lobby every single time in multi-player, game needs some balancing no doubt 😎
Power Rocket and the GT Scorcher are definitely my two main cars I choose. They are really excellent in keeping up with the three top leaders in multiplayer.
The RD-02 is broken, once legendary it becomes the fastest car in the game, I believe that they may have miscalculated and added a better value than what it should have.
It's literally the only car that passes me, and I don't like that car.. Weird how so many others abuse it lol. I use every single vehicle online, but my mains are 24 our and the mighty duck!
The last few time attacks are best served with a shortcut. Or use RD-02, it's the fastest vehicle overall. Hopefully you get it all done! Some aren't easy.
Anything less than 3 boosts are useless to me. So, my vote would go with the hotdog car. 4 boosts, max acceleration and speed make it great for pulling off nice skips. The Power Rocket is a monster for long-range skips, with its allowance for failed attempts.
@@ATribeCalledCars Yeah, I'm not sure how to feel about its handling. Would be neat to see a competitive mode, to see what the meta would be at higher level play. I've pulled off some incredible corners by boosting, but it's tough to tell if the difficulty is worth the benefits. Or what the limits even are for the car - the tight upward volcano spiral is brutal for me.
I unlocked the rare Mustang in hotwheels unleashed . I loved that car. I upgraded it to the max.... I was excited to try my new upgrades ..... set my controller down to take a drink of my cold beer ... I didn't realize that my right trigger was being pressed on the sofa and the game dismantled my just recently upgraded rare mustang!!!!! Lesson learned.
How about the 2021 Twin Mill? Its a secret grade car. Missing 2 bars for braking and 1 for handling. Everything else is maxed. Its has a solid boost bar so i dont have issues with boosting really
A lot has happened since the hot Wheels review you put up. When i woke up, i got An email from Microsoft saying someone send a gift code over, for hot Wheels unleashed... Unfortunately its region locked because he bought it in the US while i live in Belgium so now where trying to get that sorted
