Just got my Apocalypse at tier 17 and he's definitely worth it. The effort of obtaining him is absolutely ridiculous and the requirements need to be shaved down for the up and coming players.
Yea it really is very difficult im level 72 rn and just unlocked morgan le fay and archangel at level 70 I still dont have the full specific teams for each horseman and even if i did i wouldnt be able to take them to gear tier 13 bc it takes way too much gold for f2p players
I think they should keep it as is. If us boomer players had to then the new gen players should too. Especially with better access to g17 gear and blue iso
the blue iso requirement is stupid.. they need to tone that back to blue iso 4, the rest of the horsemen teams are really starting to fall off the peak
It's not as taxing as it use to be. The issue with newer players want everything now. Is still grinds and resource management to do. Don't try to rush everything. If you are waiting on iso5 work on your war and CC teams. Is so much to do.
@@Vegeta-bo7ygthis is completely inaccurate. The horseman team were the top quality at the time, the best of them are not worth it now. And apoc himself is no longer the best character.
I’m so far away from apocalypse but I like that they make him so hard to get. The problem now is that you go to war or crucible and you see the same teams set up the same way just one powerful than other. I think they need to make it more longer and harder to unlock god tier characters so when you do get them you can really appreciate the time it took to get them.
The amount of teams you need to waste resources to unlock Apoc is insane. I wish they would at least get rid of the required characters to earn more starts for the horsemen

I wish yall would quit talking about stopping the way you unlock apocalypse because im in the middle of going for apocalyptic big boi, and im gonna be pissed if they change it afterwards.
It needs to be talked about. I would just say ppl need to add to that conversation that any improvements should not the undo progress of any players currently chasing apoc.
I just got my apoc to 5 yellow stars, 4 red and 219,000 power and let me tell you he IS worth getting. But the only problem is that it took me 10 MONTHS of grinding to finally get him unlocked and it’ll be probably another year and a half to get him awakened
Finally farmed enough blue iso 4 on spider society to at least contribute in the starlight raid. Guess i need to start the long game to get my big boy Apoc.
OML is better than both SuS and Apoc. I have all three and Apoc is 3 diamond g18. OML is always the one who wins for me in arena. Hes around even when my Apoc drops and OML is just at 5y2r. Mephistos buff set him apart from everyone else but OML is insane. I would say Apoc is a close 3rd. Theres a gap between SuS and Apoc but maybe thatll change when I get some more rs on him. Hes 7y5r now. Hoping to get more out of him when I get those rs up.
Lets get real, when apoc came out, the horsemen teams were meta, so building them was a good idea regardless of apoc. Now they are only really good for apoc. So people who have Apoc and got him when the horsemen teams were meta got a massive advantage over anyone who is trying for him now. They should also tone.down the blue iso requirement, blue iso 5 is just insane considering how slow blue iso arrives
I disagree. This game number one has an elitist mentality because of the resource management perspective. He's probably just because something is third or fourth best, doesn't mean it's useless. I need units and teams to round out our data besides just the top 10 units. Holistically and pound for pound The horseman teams are still some of the best teams in the game. Being an end-game player approaching my first dark dimension 7 run, I have some experience in multiple modes across several metas. Much love and respect. #NRE #300
It’s easy to fix the chase for apoc now. Leave (and continue to update) the requirements for the horsemen scourges as they are. The change that I would make is when ppl unlock 5* a horseman, they also receive the tokens for the other characters for that horseman’s team that would permit that player to meet the requirements to do the easy level of that horseman’s saga. After you unlock the 6*, you get tokens to do the middle saga, and 7*, tokens that allow players to meet the requirements for the top level of that particular horseman’s saga. Giving g17 and blue iso for teams that are two years old, when we have g19 now, doesn’t seem unreasonable. And with Spotlight raids in addition to incursion raids, no one needs to be required to spend blue iso on the horsemen teams. Tokens fix that problem. Basically, if you unlock all 4 horsemen at 7*’s, and the 3 msf original characters, then you get apoc as your reward for all that effort.
You are asking way to much😂. Tokens for 19 characters at T17 ISO5 for a minimal investment? What's next complete DDVI and get a mephisto too😂?. Core idea nice, lower it and seems more feasible
@@ajex010 it’s asking for tokens for mostly obsolete characters, who will have mostly no use outside of unlocking apoc. And remember, it’s only g17. The big power jumps are at 18 and 19. Lastly, it’s also 16 characters that players have no agency over. Aside from the apoc saga, ppl get to choose their other dd characters, who are typically useful outside of dd. The characters used by newer players in one dd, will typically also be used in the next. So it’s a continuing investment. Hence, it is just not an apples to apples comparison to compare ppl unlocking apoc to ppl unlocking mephisto.
@@mrstephen43084 so you want a free boost to catch up? Is not only unfair but not $$wise. I like the idea but toned down. Sure if you unlock each horseman you get the team T16 blue Iso4. But anything beyond that 'for now' wait too much. When Xavier comes. Then the idea will look better
@@ajex010 if ppl choose to skip chasing apoc because the requirements are too prohibitive, which is what is happening more and more now, I would argue that’s a pressing problem that can’t wait for prof X. I’m not saying Boundless needs to use my idea, but they need to do something.
It took me a few months of daily grinding and neglecting other teams & characters to get Apoc. Just got him to 3 diamonds. He's a beast & really needed for dd6. I hate Spider Weaver. I don't even like playing her. She's a crutch character.
Because new players get so much fewer resources per day. Getting Apoc with an account at level 80+ is infinitely easier then getting him if you just started the game. People don't want to have to play a GAME for a year before being relevant.
No they need to stop making things easy for new players Do some work newbs, already getting it easy with doing dd with new chars rather than the crap we did at the time
I find it funny ppl think Mephisto isn’t as good in cc. He requires 2 of the master key cc teams to be combined to beat one non-character. So, in every cc match, if you have mephisto, you automatically have the luxury of an extra master key team compared to your opponent.
@@DarthSidious-uk5ur you’re using him in arena still? He’s on your main attack in war teams now? Oh wait, he’s only useful in the mode in which he has specific buffs. Yeah, he’s a top 10 character for sure.

I don't know why any new player should be complaining about what it takes to unlock Big Boy Apoc. WE ALL HAD TO SUFFER TO UNLOCK APOC. Why should new players get an easier unlock for one of the best characters in the game. If you don't want the benefits of have BB Apoc then don't bother unlocking him. If you do, THEN STOP B*TCHING ABOUT IT!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Suffering? 😂 We built 4 of the very best teams in the game, and as a bonus, we also got apoc. We also had a much easier time of getting shards for those horsemen. Players now are being asked to build 2 year old teams that have little relevance (if any). Meanwhile, we keep getting banger teams released that would help them more everywhere else in the game aside from unlocking apoc.
@@mrstephen43084 I will NEVER forgive Scopely for making us build Scarlet witch, Dazzler, Fantomex, She Hulk, Psyloche, and Magneto to g17 blue iso 5. So yeah. SUFFERING.
@@kdoggforever now imagine having to build them when they are 2 years even worse, but on top of that the rest of their teams aren’t much more useful any more, and those that are, it’s in much less game modes now.
@@mrstephen43084 A small price to pay for one of the best characters in the game. They should pay their dues just like we did. I don't think we're in disagreement that much over this issue. At least they will have better access to gear, gold, training mats, and blue iso than we did.
