I've ordered supremacy in oud. I have supremacy not only intense and it's a beast mode. It last even after shower and washing my hair with soup, I can still perceive it from hair.
I really want to get a detour noir, but in my place (Indonesia), there's no one selling them currently, and shipping from overseas is expensive, sadly.
Just picked up: Armaf Odessey Homme Afnan Rare Carbon Lattafa Asad Lattafa Ejaazi Silver Intense And Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco Waiting for Khamrah to restock .. Also Borouj Perlador (about $51) is a clone of PDM Carlile.
Am I still on time? Hope so! Enjoy the timestamps people! Dior Sauvage Elixir is expensive because, according to a friend at Sephora´s, 10% of each bottle sold goes directly into Johnny Depp´s pocket, and he´s more popular than ever since his worldwided broadcasted trial.Since his trial Sauvage sales tripled.
@@thomassleziak1222 I dropped and broke my bottle of 9pm in my basement office like almost a week ago and the entire basement still smells like it. No longevity issues here lol
I used to spend crazy amount of money for niche fragrances until I found out there are alternatives. Although it's hit or miss, still worth it. Thank you, looking forward for updates.
I do some research on the expensive, niche fragrances and make a mental note of which I want to get a whiff off. Then I visit a perfume store, walk up to an employee and be like ''I want to try _this_ and _that_ '' with the poise of an interested buyer. Everything like Creed, and PDM are in a restricted section. I get in there, try them out while making notes on a little notebook. Then I say ''Thank you, I won't buy anything today, but expect me to return any day now'' then I go online and look for the best clones of the ones I liked.
Detour noir is spot on Layton I can’t tell the difference only in the beginning of the fragrance there’s a difference but in the dry down it’s the same. I own two batches of Layton the old formulation the 78% alc and the new the 81% alc concentration.
Very much appriciate these clone videos. I'm from Bangladesh where 45$ Western fragrances cost 100$. These clones helps me to get some of the whiff of these expensive fragrances.
Can you possibly explan how Lattafa Fakhar was the YSL clone and then everyone switched to black as the YSL dupe? What are the ratios between the Fakhar bros. ?
Amber leather is potent! At least mine is it is so strong that I spray one just one spray under my shirt and it (the scent) pumps and keep pumping. I've tried to layer it with something a little softer to tone it down....it does NOT smell like toms fords... it does its own thing. If you get it just be careful with the sprays its so strong you can spray it in the air and let a few molecules fall on you and that would be enough. Its very masculine! 2 or 3 sprays would be too much it would give you a headache.
Since Gucci: Pour Homme II has been discontinued, does anybody know the closest clone?...I have a list here, but haven't tried them yet: Nikos: Sculpture Homme God's Night DUA: Man Card VIP Hanae Mori: HiM Parfums Vintage: Imbue Molton Brown: Londinium L'Artisan Parfumeur: Tea for Two Police: Forbidden for Man Lalique: Equus Lalique: Encre Noire A L'Extreme Louis Vuitton: Imagination Carolina Herrera: CH Men Creed: Green Irish Tweed Penhaligon: Opus 1870 Gallivant: Berlin
100% Can confirm! Just got the Afnan Supremacy in Oud, and let me tell you, it’s top notch in quality for the price if you don’t want to dish out for the Initio. Only thing worth mentioning that stands out to me is that the opening here is sweeter than the original on my skin. Also Insurrection II Wild by Rayene Tradition is absolutely gorgeous. Sadly I’ve never smelled PH but I’m so happy to have this one.
Personally.. I think Afnan not only intense smells of better quality then CDNIM and I have the same limited edition Parfum.. But something about the Afnan smells much better and more rich compared to CDNIM.. Just my opinion.
I could watch Ash trash clone presentations all day every day. I love that the clone houses have leaned into the obnoxiousness. It’s practically charming.
I'm moving to japan for 2 years. I've decided I'm not taking any of my niche or designers. I'll probably grab maybe 5 or 6 of these to take with me. The lattafa clone of ysl y is first on the list.
I can't say I've tried many of the clones but the ones that I did try/have (Sillage, Asad, Khamrah and LaYuqawam) are some of the best, whether they are 1 to 1 clone or not. Whether you're a fan of clones or not, you have to admit they are making some serious noise in the market and people are slowly waking up to them. I'd be the first one to admit that I've become somewhat of a "fan" to these clones and I thought I would never cross over that side.
Club the nuit : The limited edition has a more lemon/citrus opening and this kind of smell last a lot... Even on the dry down. Is more like the oil version of the standard club the nuit intense
In Malaysia I can only find Fakhar Silver. But it is almost close to the Y EDP with a slight more mature (and cheaper smelling) scent. But the bottle look exactly the same as yours.
After watching this video I am confused, is it ok to make these statement? Maison Alhambra Amber and Leather is better than Afnan Rare carbon Al Haramain Detour Noir is better than Lalique White in black Lattafa Ana Abiyedh Rouge is better than Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge Asdaaf Majd Al Sultan is better than Lattafa Ameer Al Oudh Afnan 9PM is worst than all those 10 fragrances.
@@blakebush5728 apparently Parfums de Marly Herod and also a little bit similar to the other tobacco clone Insurrection Reyane Tradition. You can find a review of it.
@@yusuff7_ Afnan Not Only Intense has the best scent and performance and is a versatile all weather fragrance. Afnan Supremacy Incense is nuclear but only suitable for cold weather and not mass-appealing. I sprayed Supremacy incense on my shirt last week and could still smell it when I put it in the washer yesterday! Just don't expect any compliments from it. Not only intense will get you the best compliments.
I have both, Detour Noir is closer to Layton and it is long lasting, lalique white in black the opening is smoother and much better bottle and presentation with a bit less performance than Detour Noir
Now this is what ive been waiting for Ash ! Heres Mine 1. Paris Corner The Dream Catcher 95% Clone D&G The One EDP 2. Just Jack Grey Vetiver - 90% Clone of T.F Grey Vetiver 3. Just Jack Neroli - 95% CLone of Neroli Portifino
@@grandierdelacour194 No, Not at all... The dream catcher actually gives better projection and longevity than The One EDP... Ive sold my Bottle off... Its so indistinguisbale noone can tell... The other 2 are Beast Mode Too 8+ Hours Easy All under $15 Each here at my country
I believe the cdnim you show is the limited edition eau de parfum yet you show the limited edition Parfum on the photo which is a different, albeit mostly the same, fragrance. I don't have the edp one but do have the parfum one. It's awesome.
Well, I have CDNIM LE, Fakhar, Asad and it's all great frags well worth the price. Also tried samples of Detour (fantastic), Amber and Leather (nice), Khamrah (very nice), Majd Al Sultan (pretty much meh), but what about that Supremacy in Oud? Smells harsh and too medicinal to me. Why didn't you add Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense? A masterpiece.
I've been using Terra Hermes for over 15 years. I watched your video on the Rasasi-Fattan clone where you pointed out the closeness of the "product" to Hermes. It's just a hoax, the smell is disgusting. "Thank you" for the lesson, but why are you doing this? I don't think the Arabs are paying you.
I did find Sauvage at Fragrance buy but as you said it wasn't discounted by much...I want to say I paid $130 for it....$30 less is $30 but from a discount point...not a lot!
@@michaelvoorhees5978 Lol....I wouldn't say I'm loaded but seeing how I shop quite a bit on sites like Mercari where I can often save up to twice that amount I don't consider $30 to be much in comparison.
I actually think that Asad bottle looks kinda cool. I still have yet to get my hands on Elixir or an Elixir clone but I really want to do that ASAP because i've tried Elixir and it's great.
about fakhar black, have you noticed that the in the far dry down it tend to smell like invictus aqua? a better alternative & a much closer clone to ysl y edp would probably be also from lattafa & cheaper called shiekh shuyukh final edition while for the layton clone, hope you have access to luxodor loyal agar which may be slightly better than detour noir
Hi Ash, would you say there is a big difference between Lattafa Ani Abiyede Rough and Mancera Instant Crush? I have the Lattafa and ordered the Mancera, just hoping it will not be a redundant purchase. Thanks
I don't want expensive I don't want exotic what I want is the original schulten brand of Old spice in the original porcelain decanter why does it seem so hard to manufacture that Procter & Gamble manufactures a kid's candy flavored garbage of Old spice I wouldn't even call it Old spice call it old s***
How on earth has that Al hambra Amber & Leather got noted? I bought this as i love ombre leather. But its complete cheap garbage. I jus use it as an air freshener spray ..🥺
I’ve had CDNIM limited edition parfum for about 2 months now and I’d say I’d prefer it over aventus (I also have aventus), I honestly prefer the clone over the og
Wearin ' Detour Noir today & the letters from the bottle melted off 💀 Juice ain't bad though.. Only the 2nd time with a full wearing, so still need some more time with it
@@Cooliewhistles I'm talking about actual discounter websites not some random person on ebay with scant reviews. Also the price is often way higher than on discounters. So my question stands, why don't any discounters in the US that carry many Lattafa fragrances carry Detour Noir?
I feel like so many of these clone fragrances shoot themselves in the foot with their terrible presentation. It basically makes them a self regulating entity to stop them taking over the market. 😂 Imagine if Detour Noir actually had a really nice (and non tacky, which is something a lot of these brands seem to struggle with) bottle... I reckon so many more people would be talking about it.
That's what I look for now when I get clones and I'm pretty use to the tacky presentation now.I think it's fine if they are putting th $ into the fragrance itself
pretty sure it's because it's only available from like one major seller that people aren't talking about it, as well as it went out of stock almost immediately when ash made his first impression vid, and stayed like that for months. then many resellers started selling it for 2-3x the price, that people aren't talking about it all that much.
As I have Detour Noir, I'm willing to overlook the bottle itself. Totally get what you're saying, and if it wasn't for folks like Ash mentioning the quality of the juice, I would've never gotten it, but I am totally content.
What do we expect to get amazing juice and a beautiful bottle for $15. We’re so spoiled. I can get past the bottle if the scent is on point. Most of these clones are already going above & beyond with amazing scents plus beast mode longevity. For $15 I wouldn’t be mad to get 4-5 hrs.
