Tell me about it. Couch multiplayer is super awesome and back in the old days is super cool. People say is expensive but that is BS. Even ratchet rift apart needs a multiplayer couch but noooo and insomniac makes a lot of money
Why are there hardly no couch co-op games?? I don't get it? I guess everybody just plays online now? I miss gears of war, halo, story games played with friends sitting beside them.
Great picks, got a little known gem for anyone that likes the chaos of overcooked, a little game called Fuelled up, it has the same energy as overcooked except on a spaceship which is falling apart and you and ur partner/partners have to make repairs and “fuel up” the engine to keep it together. Highly recommend, I’d love to see the access crew play it.
I’ve been wanting this type of video for so long. The only time I get to play games with my brother is at his house or mine and it’s been so hard finding multiple player games that aren’t online only so thank you for the video and I’ll definitely give some of these games a try with my brother.
I have an armchair next to a 3 person sofa. Do I not count? Am I just chopped liver? The last single fruit loop outside the package, stale at the bottom of the box? They guy that fell asleep on the last train? 😊😂😜😘
It takes 2 is amazing. They could make 30 sequels of that game.. I hope they do.. I know they made that escape version, but I can't play that with my kids.
Your list seems to be broken. I checked and double-checked and Overcooked: All You Can Eat (aka. the greatest couch co-op game ever in the history of the world) was nowhere to be seen.
Once call of duty was taking couch co op out of their survival modes and only allowed split screen on certain multiplayer modes, thats when i knew couch co op is now dead. Going to gibe baldurs gate 3 a try on split screen though. That looks promising
Love Co-op gems. Don't forget to pick Cat Quest II & III. It's a must buy. As well as Cult of the Lamb and Nobody Saves the World. If you like RPG, Secrets of Mana is simple but never old. Also try Haven, Sea of Stars and Trinity Trigger.
Bought it takes two and sackboy in 2021. Never finished it takes two. I may need to replace my bro for it takes two, I think we almost got done with that game too. Haven't started on Sackboy, I wanted to wait for others but imma play that by myself for December I guess. Also, I have moving out and tmnt shredders revenge that needs to be played. Overcooked just need dlc finish up. I gotta stop buying multiplayer games as much, I think it takes two and moving out definitely needs another player.
Of course from the same studio that make "It takes two" comes also the predecessor, "A Way Out" - a pretty amazing 70's crime thriller to play through together... I though it was just a prison break simulator, but it continues for quite some time after the prison break, and what unfolds is what feels like one of those movies from back in the day... with even some heartfelt character moments and unexpected twists. Playing this with a friend was absolutely great!
Excellent video. A pretty solid list. I have earned the platinums on It Takes Two, TMNT Shredders Revenge, Moving Out 2 and Trine 5 Clockwork Conspiracy. Played Trine 5 solo but done the other three couch coop with my oldest daughter. Really enjoyed all four. Have Sackboy’s Big Adventure still to play so looking forward to that. Considered buying The Quarry but there is no chapter select which makes the plat a real grind thus I prefer the Dark Pictures Anthology. Diablo and Baldurs Gate aren’t really my thing but definitely great games for fans of that genre.
Elden ring couch co-op is really fun. It’s not a official mode but with the new assist feature for the dualsense controller, you can have one person attack and the other dodge. I recommend it if you have anyone to game with to give it a try.
