This combo alone is at risk of hiking the points of my battleline units... GW made a big mistake allowing -2 flamers with full re rolls to wound and assault to exist...
Exalted eightbound are incredibly good, but I've got to think Venatari are the best melee unit in the game right now. 10 points more for a better save, free rapid ingress, an extra inch of move, lance and fall back shoot and charge. Sometimes I just can't roll Advance and Charge blessing to save my life and I'd rather just drop my unit 11 away fly 10 and charge 1 inch. Hard to screen the jump pack!
venetari are a superb datasheet but no FNP or -1D does make them squishier than eightbound IMO; and those chainfists mean your doing way more damage into stuff like redemptors which just wall venetari.
Spawns are a good take and I see why, but for the same reasons I would argue with Drukhari beastmasters. Sure, they have no fnp, but they are 22 wounds spreads in models with 1w, 2w and 3w. The amount of damage they soak is silly. On top of being fast, beasts, and scout 9"!
Spawn are so good, I take them in Thousand Sons even though I don't get sticky objectives. 5+ invuln with 5+ fnp is still very irritating to kill and they skirmish perfectly well. I like them way more than Tzaangors on disks.
@@user-zh8dr1qt1s WE chaos spawn still get a save, just not an invuln save, so unless your sinking a bunch of high ap shots into the chaos spawn, which most people tend not to because its a waste of shots, then the WE spawn are tankier.
strike marines, but not brotherhood terminators ? they're not sticky, but OC3, with the same benefits of teleport strike, just better tanking and leading. I'd chose them instead of strikes. One thing strikes got that is also very valuable is their champion giving them first strike.
I had a TS Daemon Prince fight for 3 ROUNDS a couple of those Spawns and NONE DIED, until last turn my 10 tzaangors killed 1 after 2 rounds of combat while they were threatening to win the game by capturing my home obj in Vital Ground, in the meantime they were slautering bird dudes
Would love to see a video all about jacks World Eaters lists and tactics. Would be SUPER interesting and helpful to this particular blood god devotee :)
Don’t get me wrong, I agree the buff did wonders for them. However, I definitely think they were sleeper op before, not to the point where 3x5 every list was too strong for your opponent to deal with, but a unit of 5 could sneakily win you the game. Because there was only 1 of them and they didn’t hit that hard, frequently my opponents would just go “4w 2+save 4+invuln -1damage, ew no I don’t want to shoot at that” and focus on other targets in my army. This left the knights free to run around and score points all game *almost completely uncontested*
i HATE the number 1 slot sooooo much. my buddy plays them and they tie up my actual units and gum up the board so much. i've lost so much time and anger to those dudes
I love the content and appreciate all of the information from seasoned pros, however us new guys have no idea what you are talking about when you speak completely in code and slang lol.
Between spawn and exalted is the reason WE is the least interactive, least fun, most feels bad army in the game. My biggest Warhammer fantasy is removing that skilless garbage from the game lol.
