Yeah, even though it should have been obvious to anyone smart enough that Paramecia are easily the strongest DF out there. Their abilities are just so damn weird and owerpowered that being able to heal or being able to move at the speed of light might be completely useless against some of them. The most obvious example would be Big Mom's DF. I mean, it's pretty obvious from looking at their personalities that Kizaru, Akainu, and some of the other strongest people in the world aren't exactly the type of people who wouldn't fear death, so no matter how strong they may be, they are completely helpless against Big Mom. I mean, how many people are you going to come across your entire life, that truly doesn't fear death anyway, right?
Theory time: when a logia user has the natural weakness to their fruit in contact with them that cannot become intangible. This was seen when Crocodile got wet and couldn’t turn into sand and when Luffy was able to hit Enel because rubber is the weakness of electricity. Therefore Blackbeard is normally unable to become intangible because he constantly has light hitting him. This could also be why they needed to cover Whitebeard as this would give a completely dark environment for Blackbeard to fully become darkness
why would you need haki in the first place tho? just make armor out of the barrier and you won't even have a need for using haki as nothing can even get to you

FINALLY! Someone that agrees on how underrated Caesar’s ability is. His power literally controls gas, the thing that’s around everyone right now. Hell, he has the potential for an even deadlier ability than just taking away oxygen. pure oxygen isn't poisonous at surface, you can breathe pure oxygen just fine as long as you're under 1 ATA of pressure which is the amount of pressure at sea level
I definitely agree that the String fruit should here. I personally think its the most versatile fruit ive seen in the series so far. It has great attack, defense, speed, power, unpredictability, manipulation, healing, etc. It is one of the few fruits that covers all grounds even travel lol. Im surprised Donflamingo didnt do what Katakuri did and make giant string fists to combat luffy with his own style. I feel like it is possible.

Hold up. It all depends on how experienced the person in question is with his devil power. If I got the Mochi Fruit today and ate it, I doubt I would be a very competent fighter. However if I got the Magma Fruit I would probably be able to cause some mayham.
Exactly that I was thinking. This guy is analisyng practically only the use that the characters make of it, not the general power of it. Magu-Magu no mi and Hie-Hie no mi could smash most of this fruits any day, like Ito-Ito no mi and mochi-mochi no mi. The characters that possess theme of course could win a fight, but only because of their intelligence and techniques.

For example in our world, a man that trains his whole life his body and becomes the strongest of our specie in strength. A man that only learned to shot a few days ago can just go there and shot him, and his dead. A gun doesn't have much potencial, but won. A gun is stronger. The same here. A fruit may have much potencial, but you take a stronger fruit and makes it harder to win. What I thought that the video meant to show is the power that the fruit gives you and what you can do, withough training. The Ito Ito no mi I bet that right from the get go doesn't allow you to create strings that slice freaking buildings (Doflamingo trained with it and made it stronger), but the magu magu creates magma, you know, that thing that even in small quantities and in his most low temperature possible can burn through flesh, and that his power that probably is avaliable in the beginning. In the video he practically analyzed the uses that the person that ate it makes of it. Of course that you can give the smartest person in the world the worst possible fruit and he wins against the dumbest with the strongest fruit. But that doesn't make the fruit that the dumb person ate useless, only poorly used. And of course the Magu Magu, and practically any logia, doesn't have much potencial, and with the Ito Ito and others mentioned in the video the uses are practically endless, but that doesn't make theme stronger because it needs a suitable user to bring out that potencial. His uses are set in stone, but they are powerful. Yeah it his strong, but doesn't deserve the first spot at all. His power is only because of his regeneration, if we are beying honest, because the flames don't burn, and flying is kinda common in this situation, so he basically has no pure offense habilitys. I don't think you can consider someone stronger just because he can survive any attack (that we don't even know to be true, and might probably not be truth). The offensive power of the fruit, as long as we have seen, is not that much greater then that of a normal flying Zoan (he can lift people and drop them from high and peck and stab theme with his claws and as better phisval atributes. And it is just about it). Marco manage to even it Kizru because the guy is slow and dumb as fuck (and of course Oda wanted a fight) , becusau any normal user would just unload those laser in him and Marco would just lay there taking it, always regenerating, withough doing anything
This was very interesting to watch. One Piece kinda teaches me how creative you can get with how these different "powers" work and what they can do such as rubber being able to stretch and it's durable and how it reacts to heat and electricity and stuff. When you brought up the quake quake fruit with whitebeard I was laughing so hard! The destructive ability and capabilities of being able to create tremors by pulling on the fabric of the air kinda brought some imagery. Congrats on this commentary. I like One Piece a lot and I enjoyed this. I'm so excited to discover what the history behind the devil fruits are like how they came to be and everything and especially the mystery of blackbeard's yami yami no fruit. Good vid! I subscribed! Agreed, it may be described as the power of darkness aka. the absence of light, but it seems more like the absence of anything, literally making it the power of the nothingness. It's like a person being able to control the Nothing from the Neverending Story, except Phantasia they're wrecking their actual real environment, and thus an awakening would be a SCARY thought.
I think the power of the fruit is more about who uses it and how much they train with it rather than the fruit itself. There are some that are just awful but most I think come down to the user.

Logia: usually a pretty solid base power level Paramecia and Zoan: It's what you make of it and Paramecia has just the craziest range, so all extremes are there
@yopandas i am pretty sure he did quite a lot with sand. most logias that we actually saw in action a good amount of times had a lot of different uses. i mean sand could destroy everything by reducing it to dust, draining water out of people or making sandstorms that can travel very far, i don't know what more you can really do with sand
@yopandas how many powerful Logia-users did we saw going all out? Crocodile (and as Findus Super pointed out, Crocodile used his sand very creative and in many ways) and then? Maybe Ace, but even that was impressive against Blackbeard, or Enel and Enel was a lazy man who didn't train that much. Akainu, Kizaru, Aokji or Blackbeard are all 4 top-tier in the OP-world and we never saw their full potential. Additional i am sure that Smoker will take a big part in the future and his fruit at full potential might be very strong, too.

Now remember volts is just electric potential energy, and they don't accelerate the electrons, meaning they won't increase the speed, meaning no extra damage. Meanwhile 1 amp can potentially fuck up your heart beat pattern, causing some major issues.

The reason Enels fruit is superior is that Enel doesnt have to charge up like Kizaru has to. Enel instantly can travel at the speed of light, while enel has to travel by charging his light first.
Enel travels at the speed of lighting, and While the flashes as result of a lightning strike travel at the speed of light, the actual lighting strike travels at roughly 1/3 that.
If it is confirmed that Dragon's power is wind. Then, for me, hands down. His power would surely be very powerful and destructive. He could freely fly anywhere, create storms, rampaging tornadoes, and the worst of all, he might be able to turn himself into air. Lol. That's not impossible, considering the fact that he is the most wanted man.
I feel like he would have the Storm Storm fruit instead. That would explain the lightning strike that saved Luffy when Buggy was about to kill him while also explaining the wind.

Luffy's gomu ability can generate so much power, when used with arn haki, it is one of the best paramecia out there because you can do so much damage on logia users and even outdamage zoan users.
Technically, the gum gum fruit it also zoan and logia, being zoan because it can transform, and logia bc it is immune to electric and physical attacks, which makes it op. Not only that, but the gum gum fruit has soooo much potential if u have a mind like luffy
Here my list on my top ten most Powerful/Broken Devil Fruits in One Piece. To me, broken refers to how powerful the fruit apart from the user, and how much power/ potential it has to be powerful. 1.Paw Paw Fruit: This power was so broken that Oda has to permanently nerf Kuma by taking his sanity away from him. By far the best power in the series. Ability to deflect everything wasn’t enough for Oda, so he gave this power the ability to repel abstract concepts out of the body along with physical ones like pain and shit, compress air to make bombs and other shit. It’s one of the coolest powers in the series. He can move so fast because of his ability it looks like he’s teleporting. 2.Ope Ope Fruit: This power from Law has only one weakness and that’s stamina. If this power required less power it’d single-handedly take out every other person on Earth, and it can grant immortality. You can control anything in the room, slice through anything and everything through it at will switch souls, grant immortality to another person etc. I don’t see how people don’t see this as OP. Is called the ultimate fruit for a reason. 3.Goro Goro Fruit: gives you control over lightning and you’re a logos user. Lightning is five time hotter than the sun, fast af, is amplified in destructive capabilities by a billion percent in the story, and his Raijin transformation is scary. It’s said to make the user invincible by Robin. 4.Tremor Tremor Fruit: can create tremors on such a high scale it can destroy earth, enough said. If Oda expands upon this it’ll be devastating. 5.Kage Kage fruit: This is the shadow fruit of Gekko Moriah and highly underrated as an ability. This ability is super strong and only hindered by Moriah’s laziness. He can take the shadow of beings and leave them in a coma for two days after that and they get vaporized by the sun if they don’t have it anymore. The more powerful the shadows the more powerful he can make his own, or himself by gaining all of their abilities, speed strength, and stamina, can create an indestructible shadow that can change into any shape he wants it to turn into and hasn’t done anything with them but turning it into bats, and can trade places with any piece of it whenever he wants. This fruit is more user error than anything and no one should sleep on its capabilities. He never even thought to make shape-shifting amor or weapons with his shadow while leaving small pieces all around to teleport to them at Will in battle among other things. This is underrated as hell. 6.Yami Yami fruit: This is the darkness fruit and allows the user to absorb anything that touches its darkness and nullify any fruit’s power. It’s stated to be the strongest logia and the most unique, and it’s so strong to the point that it’s too OP to have the ability regular logias have and make Teach into a dark construct. All he has to do is shroud himself in the darkness like Moriah’s shadow and absorb everything thrown at him while fighting. Broken. 7.Glint Glint Fruit: It’s the ability to make constructs out of light, more at that speed, and become photons. Everything about that is broken. 8.Phoenix Fruit: Marco’s fruit doesn’t allow you to do damage to him. It instantly regenerates and goes right through him. That’s broken. 9.String String Fruit: The power Doflamingo has is crazy and could’ve easily been able to beat Luffy if Law didn’t scramble his guts and he didn’t have outside help to help him run away after his stamina was gone. The ability of complete control over strings that can’t be broken (if he boost the defense all the way like on the birdcage), make clones, control people’s bodies, make weapons, heal yourself, cut through most of anything (including meteors). This fruit is one of the coolest and strongest in the series. 10.Gas Gas Fruit: If Oda was more scientific, this fruit would be more of a problem. Was thinking about many other fruits but this one in the right hands can be broken as well. You can control any gas out there and create them and condense them any way you want. I’m talking be able to make plasma, explosives, poisons, sucking the air from people, becoming an air bender but a step above since you’re gas itself, being able to slice people with slices of air, becoming clear and spying on people to get even smarter and know all the information you need, nuclear explosions like the gases inside the sun and being able to compress them down enough, crazy shit. 11.Door Door Fruit: not sure about anyone else, but if this is used right, like putting doors in front of you and another behind the opponent to deflect all attacks, travel anywhere in the world in an instant, put them in the door universe and take away all of the doors and wait for them to starve to death if they’re too powerful, open doors anywhere they move to cut off movement all together, build up momentum by falling making a row of doors and continuously falling through and attack from anywhere you want to. It’d be cool to have. (Shoutout to the poison, gravity, and book fruits. The hobby fruit could’ve been here too, but I feel like these other ones are just better overall.)
The barrier can't be invisible, the same thing happened before when we 1st saw robin devil's fruit. I think it's just way to not reveal the devil fruit to us the viewers until later

When you stop and think about it, some of the weirdest fruits can be God tier. Example, the kilo-kilo fruit, if you had this fruit and were able to adjust your weight and the weight of your body parts instantaneous, you could make your arm weight literally nothing to gain incredible speed, and then as soon as it would come into contact with the opponent give it the weight of a NEUTRON STAR THE SIZE OF THE SUN delivering a force FAR greater than even the pika pika fruit can.

The yami yami no mi is said by boss o beard to be the most destructive power to ever exist I think it’s that because it has the ability to take and wield an infinite amount of devil fruits that’s why he wanted specifically that one

Hmm i think barrier cant break by string but! Doffy awakened his fruit and has haki so he can make the string go faster than the barrier can push it the other way.
@@joshualares8678 Obito had to still eat food before becoming half artificial. Hashirama didn't have to eat nearly as much because 1. He kept using his Sage Mode which has something to do with gaining more chakra to max out the container to hold such 2. He was reanimated Obito once obtaining the sage power didn't have to eat because of being fed by the artificial side (zetsu) and the 10-tails. If what you're trying to say is that the admiral has something to do with nature itself, feeding on the sun and water and whatnot, then go watch Tekking101's video on this.. if you haven't already
"The Magu Magu no mi isn't powerful enough to be in the top 10" when magma is literally the worlds most powerful natural occurring resource it has better defensive capabilities than the Bari Bari no mi as not only can it create magma weapons that when destroyed could just instantly reform it makes the user impervious to attacks also the Magu Magu no mi naturally released toxin gas just like regular magma which we see pouring off of akainu almost all the time and I don't even need to explain its destructive aspect

🤔 the Phoenix fruit may have uncharted regeneration but it does have a limit as you said and servily lacks offensive meaning it can take it but can't dish it out thus meaning it doesn't grant the ability to defeat strong opponent at least not with it's own power it may give a strength boost and talons but that's about it you'd eventually get worn down and taken out like Marco did
just because its not the most offensive oriented fruit doesnt mean you cant deal tons of damage. As a Zoan it already enhances your strenght a lot and if you had a strong haki you should be able to take down pretty much anyone unless that person has a much stronger haki.
Barrier Devil Fruit is basically a Susanoo from Naruto if you can change its shape willingly.... Didn't Blackbeard himself said he can't turn into darkness like other logia, because he traded that ability for the absorb everything stuff.... But even Black beard or Marco devil fruit will still be defeated by Plot plot no Mi or friend friend no mi which luffy has both of them
