I've seen them all, but the series The Collapse is one of the best dystopian series ever for me. No zombies or unrealistic plots, the series shows the collapse of society in an absolutely realistic way and that's why it's so gripping.
I agree, 'The Collapse' is truly a standout series! Its realistic approach to societal collapse makes it incredibly gripping. The lack of zombies and supernatural elements only adds to its authenticity. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I think a good addition is the Australian film These Finl Hours. It's too late for anybody to try to change anything'. The end of life on Earth is a given. How would you spend the last little bits of your life?
Definitely, I would spend those last moments with my family. In such times, loved ones are the most important, no matter what. Thanks for recommending 'These Final Hours' - it's a film that really makes you think.
Good channel. Good insight without getting too long. There is an enormous quantity of quality films and series available. I would miss much without videos like this. Imagine not knowing of The Boys. I didn't until RU-vid clips got me interested.
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad my videos help you discover interesting content. There really are so many great films and series out there that it's easy to miss something. 'The Boys' is a perfect example-RU-vid has a way of drawing us into amazing titles!
I'm blown away - honestly, you're a movie buff of the highest order! I don't know anyone with your level of film knowledge and passion. Your understanding of cinema is truly impressive! Hats off to you for your deep dive into the world of movies!😍
Hard Sun and Salvation were excellent but they were both cancelled just as the plots got to the critical point, same with the BBC Survivors remake. The absolute worst one on that list that I have watched was War Of The Worlds, just stupid piled on top of more stupid.
I totally agree, it's always frustrating when great shows like 'Hard Sun' and 'Salvation' get canceled right as the plot reaches a critical point. The BBC 'Survivors' remake had potential too. As for 'War of the Worlds,' I understand your disappointment-sometimes the plot surprises, but not always in a good way!
Great idea! Creating a 'Top Ten of SciFi shows that got cancelled when they were just about to get good' would be really interesting. Thanks for the suggestion!
