I wish they'd revisit Spira, it's by far my favourite world they've created. FFX-3 could be amazing if they wrote it from scratch and continued on properly from the previous game, and expanded on FFX's combat system while still remaining full turn based. Imagine revisiting all of the old locations in a seamless open world with a focus on air and sea traversal in the end game?? One can only dream because they would definitely make it a mindless button masher now

Yep same, recently played through it again. None of the other FF games will ever come close to X for me. It's probably in my top 5 favorite game of all time. Remember watching the cinematics for the first time on the ps2. Holy shit they were good

Final Fantasy VI is my favourite in the series. I love the character development, the music, the gameplay, all of it. I especially like Kefka and the final boss theme, Dancing Mad. Of all the games I want to see remade, please give VI that treatment.

Tactics is far and away my favorite. From the thought-provoking story (based on the War of the Roses), complex and dynamic characters (especially Delita), and the combination of tactical combat and the job system (my favorite in the franchise), The War of the Lions is a masterpiece.

Wow, didn’t know there was gonna be an info event. Thats good news. Honestly. I will forever defend 16. I think it’s a wonderful game in almost every aspect. It has its flaws but they wanted to try something different and for the most part they pulled it off. 16 was the game that gave me the proper motivation to finally play all the way through some of the other games in the mainline. 6,7, and 9. 16 made me a fan. 🤘

My personal ranking (though I'm yet to play Tactics and XVI out of the mainline single players). 1. VIII 2. IX 3. X 4. IV 5. VI 6. V 7. XII 8. VII 9. XV 10. I I've played the FFVII remake, but i feel like I need to play all three parts before I can properly rank it.

The only good thing about 8 was triple triad and the soundtrack, the story was ehh, draw/junction system was the worst, no interesting character arcs, time compression made no sense, ending made no sense, the final boss was random and irrelevant throughout the whole game. It’s mid always has been

The reason why Vaan from FF 12 isn't interesting is because he's not the protagonist and wasn't even in the game originally, he was put in later in development because they needed someone players could run through the tutorial with and decided to use him as a narrator to keep him in the game, the protagonist is Ashe but her story is told through Vaan in a unique way of story telling.

Mine would have to be... 1. Final Fantasy 6 2. Final Fantasy 7 3. Final Fantasy 7 Remake 4. Final Fantasy 10 5. Final Fantasy Tactics 6. Final Fantasy 9 7. Final Fantasy 4 8. Final Fantasy 8 9. Final Fantasy 10-2 10. Final Fantasy 13 I want a remake of FF6 and Tactics so much. If they were ever to try and adapt a Final Fantasy into live action Tactics would make for a great series.

Love them all. Cant really pick a favorite. 16 is one of the coolest games i ever played, loved the story so much, loved the dialogue and voice acting. 6,7,8, and 9 are super special to me, but i think 8 is probably the one I place as my number 1 as it was the very first one i ever played and it gave me so many great memories with my brother and sister.

finally someone spoke about it💁🏻‍♀️💯 im pissed that this game doesnt get all the love that it deserves and i stopped subscribing to WatchMojo bcoz most of their lists are kinda biased 💁🏻‍♀️💯… they had that hack and slash top lists that is God of War inspired like games, DMC made it to the lists but Onimusha which David Jaffe even mentioned in a bonus video disc of GOW1 which has the influenced on him creating GOW💁🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ never made it to Watchmojo’s list when Onimusha was listed in PS2’s greatest hits back then💁🏻‍♀️

FFVII used to be my no.1 but now it's 14, after it changed my life with Shadowbringers and Endwalker. Best gaming story I ever experienced. All of the games on this list are amazing! VII is my no.2. But 9 and 6 are some of the best games ever too!

FFXII was my first try and I loved every minut of gameplay. FFXV is deep if you pay atention on Noctis' story and how he keep going to end his journey even knowing he should die at the end. The last camping with the last dinner in the post credits makes me cry every time.

So IX, VI, VII are the top 3? I can get behind that. VII is a bit overated in my opinion but it was ground breaking at the time; and the compilaiton + remakes only make the whole story better. IX will remain my favourite FF. I can play it like once a year and not get bored of it. There's so much to love from the characters to the excellent soundtrack. It's wholesome and crushing at the same time. I really would love to see a remake.

There is for sure nostalgia around my answer, but even having said that, my favourite is Final Fantasy 7. I just love the characters, music, story, locations, etc, etc. I love that game, the Advent Children Complete movie, Dirge of Cerberus. lol wish I could play Remake and eventually Rebirth, but I only have an Xbox One at the moment, so I haven't got to play the new version.

I love X and it was my first game that I played. However, IV is my ultimate favourite. I completely played the DS version 17+ times. Because of doing tons of grinding with Pink Flans, the battery of the cartridge wore out and I had to get a replacement. Along with that; I also bought the PSP complete collection.

Final fantasy V is always overlooked, despite being fantastic in its own way. As the quirky middle child between 4 and 6: Ffv for me at least was an adventure still worth going on. Had to give a shot out since it was left out of the honorable mentions.

Ff16 is my number 1. Not because it was the first ff i saw, it is because the story was realy good, the animation, the backstorys and the fights as well. The best fight scene was Bahamuth vs Ifrit and Phoenix. I know, Ultima was a litle off, but he was good too. His manipulatív things he did, and the pláne to let Clive destroyer all the mothercrystals to free the other ultimas (?). The ending was sad, yeah. I wanted them to survive, I cryed like 10 minutes after that. 😂😅 The ff7 rebirth came this week i like that one too, let's see witch one is better. 😁

I was hyped when trailers of FXIII Versus came out, the setting of the stories of Noctis and Stella, the dark vibes, possible narratives etc. But when they changed it to XV and overall changing Stella's character to a weak Heroin just killed the vibe, wished uematsu continued Versus instead 😢
