@@xian2themax I meant more of tree:those that produce wood, and plants: those that don’t produce wood. But I wanted to keep the joke simple and so I didn’t want to go to the real terms on those two things. But I get your point
Fun fact: the Forest of Illusion is called "Mayoi no Mori" (literally: "getting lost woods") in the Japanese version, which is the same name as the Lost Woods in Zelda.
My favorite forest level is what I think was 5-4 in NSMBWii, the one where you ride a platform and there are enemies falling from the sky, and if there are 5 on the platform it stops moving.
A personal favorite of mine would be Somnom Woods from Mario and Luigi: Dream Team. It (and the dream world version) have a majestic feel to it and the music is the type of music I could sleep to.
I think all the Mario & Luigi games have some kind of forest Superstar Saga has Chucklehuck Woods Partners in Time has Toadwood Forest Bowser's Inside Story has Dimble Wood Dream Team has Somnom Woods Paper Jam has Gloomy Woods
My favorite forest theme is Boggly Woods. It’s so calm, so peaceful. Then you realize the main dungeon of the chapter is a tree. The punies are also so cute
You should make a video where you're trying to beat the New Super Mario Bros Wii and you have to beat each level in 350 seconds or less! (Maybe more or less than 350 though, just try to beat it with a way smaller time limit than normal)
I just listened to a 8-bit remix of maple treeway and I can defenitly see why you like it a lot, fall levels are already cool, and the music just makes it better
I love Forest areas they are SOOO underrated because people tend to talk more about Water, fire, ghost, and desert levels more. Let's see if any of my favs make the list! 10. I mentioned this is another countdown, but yeah I never got into the GB because of it's small screen. I would love this concept for a world level though, it's so fun! 9. I honestly don't think I'd like this area. I didn't want to play the game because it's one big escort mission. But seeing all the things you have to avoid, I'd get frustrated quick. 8. I have a love/hate relationship with this level. Normally I love slides in Mario, but this one drove me nuts for some reason. Still I enjoyed it. 7. Omg yeah I enjoyed both of those levels. They were so much fun! 6. MY FAV MK TRACK YES!!! I love this track so much! It has an awesome short cut, I love going through the tree, and fall is my fav season, so yeah, huge bias. 5. I have to say this would be my #1. I loved this world, it's definitely my fav from Mario Odyssey. Being able to climb the trees and the man-made stuff meshes with the environment is great. Heck the lvl surprised me when I accidentally discovered the dark wooded area. Sure there were a few Moons that were hard to get, but I eventually cheated the system a bit and found a way to get a few of them lol. 4. I definitely remember this world a lot and I knew it would make this list too. I think it's my fav area in SMW too. Finding the hidden areas in this world was particularly satisfying. 3. I am not a fan of poisonous levels, but this is an exception since I loved taking care of those piranha plants lol. Yeah I did enjoy this level for sure. 2. You know I never heard a thing about this game when it first came out. When I finally did, I honestly wasn't interested in getting it since I wanted to play other games. No wonder why people want Geno for Smash lol. 1. I don't know why I never got this game. Maybe it's because I was too invested in other Wii U games. Oh well. Cool list, I can't wait to see what you do next.
All I ask for in a future Mario title is a forest level akin to the one from Donkey Kong Country 2. You know, with Forest Interlude. That would make me very very happy :3
I think DYK gaming mentioned that the Wooded Kingdom was inspired by 1960s science fiction movies (one in particular). This also explains the surf guitar soundtrack!
@@mistaplayinabox it's a 1972 film called Silent Running. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kHmL2pv7gQA.html Watch this video and skip to 5:30 for the explanation
Imma be honest, I frikin love thos posters on that app, I was looking at them. I wanted one for Christmas, I was gonna ask for one, but they are frikin EXPENSIVE. I know there pretty high quality, but there's nothing cooler than these kinda posters, i wish they were cheaper
What about the Mario Key Course in Super Mario 64 DS? It's a mysterious forest with toxic gas, moving trunks and a lot of different parts. It's kinda forgotten (like the game itself actually) but i have great memories about it.
You know, Nico should've upload the Top 10 Creepiest Levels 2 weeks ago, which he already did, right? (except for Scariest Levels) He should've upload Creepiest Levels for Friday the 13th, and upload the Snow Levels later on in the winter.
When I play Super Mario Odyssey, I just don't go in Deep Woods with that hungry dinosaur there- I don't care about no moons, I leaving soon as possible.
