Sopranos and Deadwood are excellent! Boardwalk Empire was as good as I've seen. If you're paying attention, you will be getting a very good history lesson. The show is mostly historically accurate, although some changes were made. The lead character is based on a real man who operated in much the same way (Nucky Thompson/Nucky Johnson). Also, some events are out of chronological order, especially as they relate to supporting characters.
I thought The Last of Us series was actually fantastic. I didn't find it to drag at all, with the exception of the episode about Bill and his partner. That episode was tastefully done, but it dragged on very slowly and seemed out of place in the season as a whole. I truly believe that TLOU is the very best game adaptation ever filmed.
Well i just had a Mandala Effect moment as I've never hear it called "House of the Dragon" before always been "House of Dragons" but after a quick google apart from other ppl googling house of dragons hence Mandela moment there nothing was hope different names for different countries but nope .. so weird ..
HBO was the best of all but I guess due to cutting costs (competition) and boards who don't want to take risks, HBO just became another play safe main-streamer. Sopranos, Boardwalk empire and Game of Thrones were absolute pearls but starting with House of Dragons and season II of Westworld, the path is all downhill.
