Honestly, Hells Paradise is a phenomenal series that gets overlooked for bigger names but it is absolutely my top, Its manga is also absolutely amazing and it only gets better for the anime scenes from here

Hells paradise is one of my animes of the decade for me. What really drew me in is when gabimaru fought the tensen and even him, the main protagonist, has a huge moment of doubt at if where he was was even real. Of all the animes I've watches that hit hard they truly are terrified and trying to fight for their very lives its amazing. The story is there too for me

Wasn't expecting Shin Sekai Yori to get mentioned, but it's always cool to see it. I don't know I would consider Heavenly Delusion an action anime tho, it had some great action but it wasn't really the focus.

Blue Eyed Samurai should be on this list. Highly highly recommend. Plot was very simple but the progression of the story just hits the spot. The fight scenes were beautiful too .

I enjoyed it for the most part. It had excellent animation and the premise of the story, while not too original was fine. There was a few moments where modern Western social commentary creeped in and that really hurt it in my opinion. It had some predictable moments as well. It doesn't belong anywhere near a best of 2023 imo

Finally! The anime RU-vid community is sleeping too hard on Trigun Stampede. I thought the CGI is next level (Studio Orange also did Land of the Lustrous) and that opening by Tombi is one of the best I've heard all year. So emotional and the anime music video for it is perfect.

CG is good but the changes and reimagining take makes me scratch my head. The og 98 anime was already mostly anime original, why not just faithfully adapt maximum like the fans have been waiting for 20+ years? Idk I was hugely disappointed

I would like to advertise people who have access to Netflix to give Blue-Eyed Samurai a try. I was absolutely amazed at how great it was. The fighting, the story, the characters, everything about it was an enjoyable experience.

Shame we couldn't get a good grounded reality plot. No female ever is doing that to men ever.... I understand its fantasy its an anime BUT we need a masculine high budget show. Wayyyyy too much femmy stuff around. I have NO problem with femmy stuff but when you dont balance it with masculinity im gonna get annoyed...

It's been such a great year for anime community. In every season there was a show that I realy realy enjoyed. In winter: we had like Vinland Saga, Trigun, even Danmachi had a good season Spring: Hell's Paradise, Oshi no ko, Heavenly Delusion, Mashe, Deamon Slayer (althorugh it wasn't that good) Summer: Jujutsu Kaisen, Mushoku Tensei, Bleach, Zom 100 Autumn: Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (one of my favourite this year for some reason), Frieren, Shangri_La is also super fun. and there are way way more good shows. I would love to get my hands on Bungou stray dogs and Tokyo Revengers but I would have to invest time into watching previous seasons, but I just don't have much lately

Undead Unluck is really fun and quirky, and reminds me of My Hero Academia for some reason, albeit more graphic and of course with an alternate power system. Mashle was one of my favorite new anime this year, with Undead Unluck coming in 2nd, and Hell's Paradise coming in as a close 3rd

If i would have a chance, i would recommend "Eminence in the Shadow" its pretty nice anime, its a anime that the characters are a lot cold i mean the main character is not being a failure or like in the other anime where they got defeated and suddenly awaken a ability, the mc of this anime is a Very good protagonist and can be also a antagonist, it ends here, i dont wanna spoil a lot

Chinese anime I like, A will eternal(yi nian yongheng). That anime has some very OP fights. I haven’t seen blades of the guardians, and I should soon.

Hells paradise honestly was way better than chainsaw man for me. Chainsaw fans hyped the shit out of it and idk if it’s just a bad adaptation but I found it pretty average

Funny because I expected more from HP, but thought the adaptation was lack luster especially since Mappa was working on it. Chainsaw Man just needed that 24ep like JJK, would’ve done so much more for that show.

Waou, I thought exactly the opposite. Though I found the first few episodes of Hell's Paradise captivating because of the misteries of the island, I find that it quickly turned into a classic "powering up" story. With the animation not following in quality. To me it lost all of its originality after a few episodes. Whereas I felt that Chainsaw Man was constantly getting more original (I stopped after two episodes, then got back to it to finally love it)

Go check out Heavenly Delusion guys, the mystery and sherlock holmes trait for its audiences is definitely intriguing and leave you wanting a new season right away or read the manga just to have your questions answered

Shangri frontier had a good start but the action sequences were mostly just him hopping backwards or to the right or left to dodge attacks. Very little parrying, deflects, of complex choreography to wheel you in or give you chills. Its just bland hopping around reusing the same dodge animations.

agreed @@Quaresma77pl. blades of the guardians is equally good but the mind-bending aspect of heavenly delusion makes it my favourite. Disregarding existing anime such as Vinland Saga, jjk or even aot this one stands out the most for me.
