One of my favourite moments is when Jamie gives Fergus his name at his wedding, it makes me tear up every time!

I know it was just a small thing but Murtagh whistling Bugle Boy in the 4th season when he and Claire reunite always makes me happy.

Saying Brianna and Roger’s wedding is “the most important” since Jamie and Claire’s is doing a disservice to Fergus and Marsali! Jamie gave Fergus his last name for goodness sake!

Best moment: every time Jamie calls Claire “sassenach”. ❤️💖

Seeing Jamie faint after seeing Claire again after a long time was part Sweet & hilarious!!!!🤣😚

My favorite moment in the books before this tv show ever existed: Jamie swinging into the window and demanding Randall not touch Claire while he bluffed with an unloaded pistol. That was love.

I can't believe this didn't mention: -Jamie sending Claire back through the stones right before Culloden; -When Faith died (one of Cat's best acting!); and -Their intense fight (and later reunion) during episode 9 of season 1!

I am surprised you don't have the moment from seasonb1 when Claire picked Jamie over Frank. I think that line "On your feet soldier" and her telling him to take her home. Then a single tear down Jamie's face is priceless.

I have to admit. My fav moment was when Briana & Jamie met for the first time and then Jamie took her to Claire. Seeing the reaction of Claire was priceless

I add Fergus and Marsali wedding, when Jamie gives his name to his son ♥

The fact that Fersali didn’t even get one moment on this list is sad especially since the wedding was so significant given that Jamie gives Fergus his name too.. They are the best couple after Jamie and Claire

My two favorite moments not mentioned are the two times Jamie brought Claire to Craigh Na Dun. The first time when she wanted to go back to Frank but eventually decides to stay with Jamie and the second time right before The Battle of Culloden when he makes her go through the stones so she and Brianna(in utero) would be safe. 💗😭

How the hell did the moment Claire chooses to stay with Jamie instead of going back to Frank did not even get an honorable mention!!!!!!!!

The wedding night was better than the actual wedding.

My favourite scene is when Claire got back and found out about Jamie's other wife, they were in a fight and Jamie said something like" I'd do a lot worse than lying to keep you...". The passion is just... I can't even...

“Claire! Your honey pot is bare...”

Not sure how the 2 times Jamie tried to send Claire back through the stones to the future didn't make it onto this list! The first time, when she decides to stay with him ("Take me home to Lallybroch!") and the second time, when she actually goes ("Lord, ye gave me a rare woman, and God I loved her well!") definitely would have made it onto my list :)

Another wonderful moment, when Jamie and Claire's ship is overturned during the storm and Jamie is shown swimming and kisses/breathes for Claire underwater. And later we see the camera pan up to the eye of hurricane (3X13), chills every time.

Oh Honey, that slow strip on the wedding night is more sensual than any actual "doing the deed" could be. And I think the most significant scene of the whole (as of now) five years is when Jamie sends her back to her time. That goodbye scene just kills me.

One of my favourite moments is when Jamie finally kills black jack randall at the battle of Culloden

For me, the Dead Baby scene was the most emotionally gut-wrenching performance I’ve ever watched. The grief of Claire (portrayed by Balfe) while she lovingly held her still born infant son (as would be typical of any new mother with her baby), yet speaking to him as if in an-out of-body trance, left me sobbing... hard. Balfe’s depiction of her character’s abject sense of grief was totally different from any grief I’d ever experienced or even imagined. I’ll never forget this scene!

Aww, how could you pass up the moment Jamie sends Claire back through the stones, and talks about waiting for her in purgatory, thanking God for sending him a "Rare women, and I loved her well.." Hands down favorite moment ♥♥♥

#10 oh man, I miss young Ian! It's weird imagining him becoming a badass wilderness man when he's been such a sweetheart 😂

I’m sorry but Roger and Brianna’s relationship just doesn’t bother me. I can’t seem to invest in their relationship.

All of these scenes are so well done. I cried a lot when Ian had to say goodbye. I also cried when Brianna finally met her father. I cried when Murtagh died. I cried so much when Jamie sent Claire through the stones. I shed tears when she finally came back to Jamie. I cried when she yelled back at Brianna, "....was a lot more than fucking, he was the love of my life!".

uhhh.... that one tear Jamie drops when he is saying goodbye to Ian always gets me.

The Murtaugh and Jamie reunion should not have been an honorable mention, it’s one of my favorites. But I understand the list has so many great moments, but this one should have been among them including Murtaugh’s death. I love how central Murtaugh was to the story and how he is actually the person that brings Claire into the fold and making the love story happen, it’s significant that Jamie’s godfather was the one to bring her in.

Best show on TV !!! Thanks Mojo for giving Outlander some well deserved love. Us fans are a dedicated crew. Now we just need them to go past S6. crossing fingers....

Oh, if you are ever in a mood to ugly cry, you must watch the Faith episode. Amazing cry when Jamie takes her to the stones, and she decides to stay with him. The second time he takes her and they do that dance to put her hand on the stone. Total heart break!!!

Oh I will add scene when Jamie and Claire were tricked lord John.. It's hilarious

One of my favorite is Jamie teaching young Willie how to ride a horse, then willies grand mother said to her friend that Willie and Jamie spend so much time that they are starting to look similar. Lol

One of the most powerful “scenes” was in the book. When Brianna goes to Lallybroch and meets her Aunt Jenny and slams those pearls down on the table. She stood up to Laoghaire and it was wonderful.

My favorite episode in the series has always been season 1 episode 9. I love that it's from Jamie's point of view and it shows their first real fight as a couple. They sort of come to an understanding of one another and respect each others boundaries while Claire also has to realize what time shes living in and cant go about life as if she was in the 1940's. I dont know, but that episode really made their relationship solid in my opinion and I definitely felt like they were more than physically compatible.

I love the scene in Season 2 episode 1 when Claire is getting off the plane in Boston and Frank says one more step and puts his hand out and you see his hand, then you see Jamie's hand and then Claire reaches out and takes Jamie's hand! I have watched that scene so many times and I love it so much! Loved all the moments mentioned too and many others. My favorite show ever!

The 2 scenes that HURT me was Jamie telling Murtagh " go and be hard to find" and jamie breaks down crying then the scene Murtagh getting shot and dying were my biggest tear jerker scenes. OMGosh those 2 scenes.....😢😭

I agree with most of the top 10. Faith and The bath tub new ring scene definitely should be top10. There are so many scenes from the Reckoning that one should have made it. And from the new season when Jamie says goodbye to Murtagh is a heart breaker. And Jamie lying on the Culloden battlefield was so emotional 😭

Before I even watch this I'm gonna guess that number one is either going to be the wedding night or when Jamie had to send Claire back through the stones. I know that the episode where she lost the baby isn't considered best but it is one of the most powerful.

So many powerful and moving moments close 2nd is Faith's death - for me it's the goodbye prior to the Battle of Culloden where Jamie and Claire have to part for the sake of Brianna being born in the future where it's safe. Claire goes back through the stones. Heartbreaking... "God you gave me a rare woman...and I loved her well". ;_;

Gotta disagree: Fergus and Marsali's marriage was so much more beautiful and important than Roger and Brianna's. But that's probably because I don't care much for either of them (esp Roger) but Fergus is the best boy, and Marsali is a bad-ass.

I think the scene when Claire was singing to Faith or when she was talking about her to Jamie should’ve been on the list and should’ve been high up there. The acting, the music, the setting it was all so well made and absolutely gut wrenching

one adorable moment that makes me cry every time is when Brriana Imagen Frank just before she goes on the ship to America, and he gives her his approval (with one move of his head and love in his eyes) to go and find Claire & Jaime...

Yeah, how did no Murtagh moments end up in there? I would have traded a couple of Brianna/Roger moments for Murtagh coming back, or him dying. I cried both times, and that's not often seen. But I've never cried for Roger.

when I clicked on this video I did not expect the first one talked about to be the moment that makes me ugly cry for a good 10 minutes every time I watch it!!!! You'd think it would be easier now that Ian is back but no, it still hurts real bad

I love all of hers, but what about when they lose Faith, or she leaves the first time? Even when Claire finally says goodbye at Jamie’s grave or found out he was alive were very emotional moments

First: really love the Outlander series, as well as, the books! I hope to see an even stronger bond between Jamie, Lord John, and William. I love the scene where Claire gives Jamie as good as he gives out when he goes to use the belt on her backside. All I would be able to tell him is, "You have to go to sleep sometime tonight, Boy". That threat always insures my husband a sleepless night as he is afraid of what may happen if he does sleep. 🤣🤣🤣

When Jamie wanted to die and asked claire, how can you have me like this... and claire says I will have you anyway that I can.. ALWAYS! Every jaime and claire fight is also good. This was such a good series and I couldn't stop laughing during most of it. I'm part French and part Scotch so I just laughed my butt off because some of it reminded me of my dad and my own family. Haha!! The prim and proper French side of my family alongside the rude crude of noxious Scottish Irish part & i can so relate to them. When Claire goes back after 20 years and Jamie drop papers and falls in the floor, was too adorable. Some of the funniest moments were when Claire would cuss and the Mackenzie Clan would say they'd never heard a woman talk like that before. 😂😂😂 a hilarious one was after the consummation of Claire and Jamie's wedding when they went downstairs to get food. Lol I think it was Angus that asked Jamie if he bled. 😂😂😂 somebody kept calling Rufus a big fat fart. Lmbo!! My grandfather had a brother named Rufus and it's just too damn funny and close to home for me. Lmbo! My great-grandmother and grandmother were both French and they both married scotsmen, and my family was aoo much like watching this movie was similar to watching my own family. I can even talk like a dude sometimes and my kids just laugh because I normally don't.. I had to watch the part when Claire and Jamie got together again after 20 years and had sex the first time. Baaahaa! Jamie hit clear in the nose with his head and I had to rewind that seeing about five times because it was hilarious.

Sorry, but nothing tops the scene where Brianna meets Jamie. It's basically the culmination of the whole series: everything has been building up to this. We see here the full implications of the main idea behind "Outlander" - that it is possible to move between two time periods that exist in parallel - played out through the emotion of the long-lost father-daughter reunion. The scene is even more poignant, because it comes right after the horror of the rape scene. And the emotional reunion is extended through Brianna's reunion with Claire, which occurs immediately afterwards. You can't beat it.
