Not every movement is blocked in advance. The actors are expected to be in the moment and see where the scene takes them all the while hitting their marks. But I've read that Sam & Cait did throw in a lot of extra kisses. They are both 100% immersed in their characters and Jamie and Claire are madly in love. But I don't know how we are to know what's in the script or not. That said, I like those caresses and kisses. They add to the believability of their passionate love story. They are the best on screen lovers I have ever seen!
Ugh, the red coat moment... still gives me the shivers. This show has so many objectively horrific moments in it, yet watching Jamie donning the red coat is still one of the most emotionally difficult for me. Maybe because it sneaks on you unannounced, unlike the gory battle and rape scenes that you know prepare yourself for...
I'm still campaigning for Disney+ to make a Young Indiana Jones series with Sam Hueghan as Indiana's father, Henry Jones Senior. Here's the basic story. Henry Jones Senior (Sam Heughan), after the death of his wife, brings Indiana Back to Scotland. This is pre-WW1, and several Scottish Churches with graveyards have been robed of religious artifacts. One of these Churches is next to the Jones ancestral home.
Omg! That redcoat scene really got me in the feels. Sam is so amazing the way he conveyed in silence that wearing the redcoat was not so different from submitting to Jack Randall. He did what he had to do but it was so brave and so sad at the same time.
Since the Brits sold him his land (Fraser's Ridge), he's indebted to them and they had him fight on their side when the citizens were protesting against high taxes. Murtaugh led a rebellion against the British and Jamie was called upon to enlist a militia to fight the opposing side. Before the final battle between the two sides started, the governor insisted that Jamie wear a red coat while fighting. When Jamie put that coat on, he looked like someone just pooed on him. Poor thing.
@@MsNotzi Correction…he felt obligated to the Brits because they GAVE him his land. It was a common practice of the times to grant land to men to start communities so that taxes would be paid to the Crown.
Remember God loves you!!!♥️ John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. If you trust in Jesus Christ and repent, you will be saved.🙏 He is coming back soon.......
