I would have to say Mark Jacobs Decadence for me hands down. I did love love la vie belle the original but it kept giving me a headache so I sold it on. I have smelled the Eclat version and loved it but got scared that it might be like the original and give me a headache. I am currently loving Sofia by Sofia Vergara.

Thanks to your review I just received the original in the mail today and in turn I placed an order for the full size of the rouge. Poudree was a blind buy. So happy that I found it. I have Eau de Soleil Blanc and I would very much categorize it into the sunscreeny category. I love it but I know some are not into that. I also have Aerin hibiscus palm and I would say they are different enough though. They both have a sunscreeny vibe but Aerin is much sweeter and you can smell all the florals, while TF is much more fresh, citrusy and zesty. The dry down after about 20 minutes is more similar with TF losing some zestyness and Aerin staying sweet and flowery. I am a floral gal, love them. But I prefer TF because it is more fresh for hot weather and more unique and boujee.
Soleil Blanc is intoxicating and sings on warm skin...i finally ordered a full size bottle after going through multiple samples. I think you would love it😊
Post-reformulation Alien is awful. It lasts 30 minutes on me max, and the projection is nonexistent. All the heavenly jasmine has been watered down, I'm not even sure it is the main note anymore. I tested the smell in the store before repurchasing and it was the original. Apparently they keep a tester with the old formula to trick people into buying the perfume. This makes me even more mad, Alien is a fairly expensive expensive perfume and now all my money is gone. I swear L'Oreal destroys everything they get their hands on
Yes I agree I am disappointed with the reformulation for sure. :( I wish I had discovered my passion for alien before the reformulation so I could have stocked up.
so this is why I didn't notice the difference before buying it... oh my God, it's seriously NOT worth all its money. at this point, a fake would do the job just as well, if not even better!! I know it sounds silly but I was thinking about writing to L'Oreal to tell them how disappointing the reformulatio was and that everyone stocked up on vintage Alien, lmao.
I guess long lasting & good projection don't necessarily go hand in hand. Narciso Poudrée lasts long but doesn't project well imo. I would add to the list Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb & Coco Mademoiselle

I had both the TF Orchid Soleil and Eau de Soleil blanc and I really prefer the Soleil blanc more. It has a lux coconut and floral that's well blended. I do believe you will like that better. With Orchid soleil, there is a slight floral medicinal note I can't get past.🙂 Lovely content btw, thanks
I think you would LOVE *Amouage Love Tuberose* It's a *thick tuberose creamy whipped cream heady frag* and downright beautiful I literally reviewed it because not many people mention it. Delina exclusif is a fragrance for life for me too!
I agree these are all very long-lasting except for Pure Poison - this one I can still smell at the end of the day but it’s very close to the skin.. Maybe I’m not spraying enough. Lol. I also don’t have the original Shalimar but the Parfum Initial - I wonder how close this smells to Souffle de Parfum.
I really want to try out the narciso perfumes! Which do you suggest for a 18 yr old! Some people say that they make you smell mature, which is fine, but I don’t want to smell older than I am if that makes sense😂? Thank you! Side note: Pure poison is my signature scent! Love it!🥰
Where do you buy all the perfumes so it would be legit for sure? I used fragrancebuy and FragranceX, but I am still not sure how legit they are.... shoppers and Hudson’s bay are usually my go to
