I have always only driven through Hungary going somewhere else in summer. So to me, Hungary was only this tedious flat hot pan, nowhere to hide, no hills, not much variety... Good to know there are nice places as well there :)

Szentendre: Totally overrated, any random Hungarian town looks exactly the same or better. The only reason why it's touristically significant is because it's easily accessible by train from Budapest in 30 minutes. I would not waste a single second on it.

I don’t share your opinion. It IS worth visiting Szentendre. It does have a unique charm. A small town but there is quite a lot of things to do there.

Terrible video. The video is mixed up and shows Sopron when talking about Budapest etc. the AI reader butchers the pronunciation of everything and while all of the locations are good and predictable the video misses many of the best places to visit. Mostly lazy cliches.

Please research how to pronounce the cities! At least pronounce the first letter correctly! Tihany is pronounced with a T not an L! Other cities also mispronounced which means the poor non Hungarian speaking tourist will be asking for directions to places that don’t exist !

In spite of all what Hungary has to offer culturally, and many other achievements, this country is still classified as a 'developing' country. So, it is not yet on par with all those other countries to the West and North Europe. Those of us, who study these truly arbitrary classifications, are very aware why this degrading label puts Hungary in the same league as all of the Asian countries, half of the African continent, and the whole of South America. The reason(s) are not nice. I hope that one day in the future, this skewed and subjective view of Hungary will be rectified.

Seeing what is happening in rich, Western countries nowadays, loosing their identity and common sense, I think it is better to stay in the 'developing' status, and live a simple but peaceful life. Also, things are going better than 10 years ago, but I hope if we become rich we won't give up ourselves.

Hungary is not considered a democracy by the EU. Human and civil rights are disregarded by the police and government. Sometimes tourists are unlawfully arrested and pressed for money. It is very dangerous, many pickpockets, male and female prostitution. people are so poor many try to scam you. Dark skinned people will often be attacked. Sales tax is 27 per cent, service tax 12 per cent plus there are some fantasy tourist taxes in hotels. Hungary has a population loss of annually 1%, mainly young well educated people. Most money you spend will go to the corrupt oligarchy. Hungarians live in poverty and desperation.
