my 10 as of right now the cards i own are : deck one industrial edition, bicycle rider back, bicycle 130 edition, bicycle mariner, bicycle blue dragons, bicycle limited edition series 1, white arcanes, theory 11's sentinels, david blaine's split spades and a. doherty's tally ho vipers
Man do you wish you kept those aurums sealed? Lol jealous you got to buy those. Interesting list by the way. I know it sounds cliché and run of the mill. Virts have to be in everyone's top 10 handling decks lol they're just way too smooth not to be. "Handling not favourite". In no particular orderI'm gonna go with -- '14 virts, isometric, ICO' 16, revision 1s, binary, hocus pocus, casino Royale mystic edition, Ellusionist E deck, peafowls, blue dappers. - - Honorable mentions, aey catchers, Rarebits, orbits, JAQKs, rounders, cardistry con, swe, carrots, Saturn space jams, monarchs,
Do you by chance have a Bicycle Ghost deck? They are discontinued, I know, and not many were made. But if you had one, itd be SO COOL if you did a review over them. I want to know your opinion on them. They like my favorite deck. You don't have to like them, I just want to get other opinions on them.
6:30 "This might be a surprise to you guys....." Not to me. Bees have long been the #1 performing cards since 1892. No other card has yet been able to match Bees in ease of handling and performance. And only plastic cards can outlast them. This is why, according to sales statistics from the US Playing Card Company, Bee playing cards are the #1 most sold cards among professional magicians. Once more thing you forgot to mention. Bees are 1/3 the weight of standard Bikes which add to their ease of handling and performance. It also makes their durability more impressive as well. Glad to see Bees getting the much needed attention they deserve.
Captain Obvious My favourite cards are a really cheap (£2.99) plastic deck. I've had much more expensive decks that don't come close. My favourite to look at are the Bicycle Alchemy England deck.
+Martyn James The best plastic decks hands down are KEMs. The only people who say otherwise are those who have never used a KEM deck in their entire life. That is not to say there aren't good cheap plastic decks. Probably the best low-cost plastic deck I have used to date would be Cartamundi's 100% plastic "ACE" brand playing cards. They may not have the best "paper-like" feel to them, but they perform phenomenally for just $3 USD (about £2.50). The Bicycle Alchemy England deck is interesting, but I've never really got into "goth" when I was in high school. I've always been more of a "steampunk" kind of guy.
+EverythingCardz My favourite deck is my Great Grandpa's he used for bridge. they are over forty years old. shuffle great but can't fan out. They are a Windmill Set made in Hong Kong Bridge size.
can you send me some of these decks that we can t find in FRANCE againt you will receive some real FOOD ? Otherwise have you test the Madison decks, also can you write the name of the decks because it is hard to understand ? Finally i agree with you about the BEE deck (in second position ) do you practice magic or are you just a collector? BYE
I didagree with carfs at 5.30. The contrast is horrible . The gradient on the back is tacky... The contrast is terrible... Not sure im a fan of multi coloured scheme either.. I like cards with maximum contrast and solid colours... As for the last one. Id like the star if it was solid, from a themr perspective it does look magiciany however the back design is a literal distacting.. Would prefer if the design was simplified...
for people who dont know... exquisite is made by expert play card, who uses the same printer in taiwan as Legends and legends in still holding some inventory for exquisite and some other experts decks, you can buy it on their site.
Are those decks plastic? Or what material you prefer the most? plastic or paper? Thanks. I think that plastic are more durable but which ones of them is more suitable for tricks? Thank you.
Can u tell please the name of deck # 1? I'd like to present it to my friend, he is a professional poker player.... and where can I get them from,....Thanks. Irina
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
This would have been a joke video for me. Every single one of these decks are hideous to me. However I think its so great that people have different tastes in things. I respect your opinion here, I guess I need to make my top ten so people can wreck on it, the beauty in preference indeed.
Why haven't you made your own custom deck with makeplayingcards.com. I would love a review. I'm pretty new to illusions and I would love to hear how the fair, and if they're worth it.
I have seen a number of videos on peoples favorite handling cards. I am very surprised no one mention any of the Smoke & Mirrors first version from Dan & Dave.
could anyone show me a link to those specific bee erdnase cards he has in the video? perhaps a link to .co.uk website where i could buy it. im from the uk. thankss
I would have to go with the 2nd design hands down, the design isnt too distracting. Its confortable to look at, not to mention the functionality of the design, wih the animation...
Hey, thanks for the amazing reviews.... I just started out with card tricks and just wanna know is there much quality difference between bicycle standards and the luxury custom cards from Theory11 or Ellusionist?? THANKS
+Chirag Gupta There is a small difference in quality, but bicycles will still last quite a long time. The look is what really drives those bigger companies. EC
+EverythingCardz Do you know if there are any cards that are extremely flexible? My favorite card shuffling is the In The Hands Riffle Shuffle with the Bridge Ending. This obviously requires flexible cards to be done properly. Any suggestions?
+Sam Winchester normal bikes have a soft stock that once broken in will shuffle just fine. Bees are nice in the hands too. Maybe even a little easier to handle EC
EverythingCardz Thanks, I'll try some Bees, because I'm using some bikes, but I bought them yesterday, so they obviously aren't at their full potential.
Hey nice review. Just wondering how many of each do u usually purchase being a collector and performer?? I just started collecting and of course have to open a deck to enjoy it but also want to keep one or a few sealed in case something happens to the deck I have opened and use. I personally have been ordering 3 per deck for my collection. Obviously being a beginner I can screw up a nice deck very easily lol but I usually practice my magic, flourishes, and cardistry with reg store bought Bicycles. Eventually as I get better and more confident I can use some of my FAV custom decks to perform and practice. Finesse is everything, stress is the enemy. Thanks for ur review. Very helpful bro.
Great video I actually only have a few of the ones you mentioned. I'm new to card handling and fanning is still giving me a lot of difficulty lol. Do you own the cheaper deck of Tally Ho No. 9? I mainly use them the most when practicing because they have a thick stock and seem decently durable for a low price. I was wondering how their durability compared to the bee deck?

Yeah I've had mine for only a few weeks and they are already starting to clump. Definitely going to check the bee deck out. Hoping they aren't too pricey
I'm a huge Paul Carpenter fan, (decks 4 & 5 on your list). Of his cards, I really enjoyed the silver Deco set. He has released 3 new sets of cards, which all 3 seem to replace my Deco set as my fav. You are right, the feel if his cards are amazing. Really enjoyed your top 10 list thanks for sharing.

Great set! I cannot find where to buy that bee deck. Could you please put a comment with a link (if you know it) of a site where I can buy one? Thanks!
