I have never seen anyone act so well with just his eyes. There are many actors who are great at delivering their lines but Tom is the only actor that could give off the same amount of emotion without any words and with gaze alone.
Tom Hardy is kind of like the new Gary Oldman...his whole look & portrayal in every movie is so different, that sometimes you don't even recognize or realize it's him. He's amazing. 💗💗💗

Tom Hardy "becomes" the character he plays. On some occasions, he's unrecognisable. Brilliant actor!! (Bronson is a masterpiece! It's the first film I saw him in. Hilarious, incredibly dark, and very violent - love it!)

Because that movies premises is fucking stupid. A guy is driving all the way to met a chick he got pregnant in hospital as shes having the baby because he doesnt want the child coming into the world without a dad.. the catch is tho he already has a wife and family and by driving to this hospital he is making it impossible to do what he needs to do at his job which is very important. So basically he destroys his relationship with his wife which basically destroys his current family and he fucks everybody around at his work and puts all his work mates in jeopardy on an important project just so he can be at the delivery room of some random chick who he knocked up who he also isn't interested in staying with afterwards he just wants to be there at the birth. LOCKE IS A STUPID FUCKING MOVIE. DO NOT WATCH IT. his acting is okay tho..

The build up from the Drop is so damn perfect, you can just feel that moment coming more and more as the movie powers on, then the moment comes and it's all too satisfying. Loved that movie.
Today there are only a handful of actors who bring the full package or at least some of that: charisma, skills, good choice of roles. Hardy is one of them.

Even I think that Tom can pull any role and look great as 007 but he really shines in dark mysterious violent roles. If he gets to be the villain in a bond movie he will outshine any actor that plays bond. In Taboo Tom is maybe in his greatest form.
I just mean in terms of legacy, influence on the industry, quality of his body of work and eventually the status of Leo. Whether you think either of them are overrated or simply dont like them or their films you cannot deny their impact and legacy worldwide in the film industry. Some would argue Tom Hardy is already at Leo's level in terms of everything I mentioned above. Lastly almost every female in our life would probably fuck the shit out of them both and I imagine either of those men walked in a room full of ladies that room will turn into Niagara falls.
Dicaprio is nowhere close as good as De Niro but Hardy could be compared to Brando in terms of acting prowess, although Brando easily stomps Hardy, he could hold a candle next to Brando..

Hard to tell what his best is. Tom is a top notch actor. Nothing jumps out about him. I only knew he was in Venom and then I realized he was in all these movies. His identity is completely absent from his performance. You hardly know it's him. I love that.

I am surprised to not see mention of Stuart: A Life Backwards. I understand that it was not a popular film but Tom Hardy’s performance in that film was masterful.

Very under estimated & under appreciated actor - yes he is gorgeous, but he is so very talented. He deserves a lot more recognition for his efforts and talent as an actor

@@Shaanistic Yes of course I did! I agree that Cillian is very underrated, but that is the one of the only things where he plays a major role. Di Carprio plays the main role in pretty much every movie he is in. Apart from Django, even then he is near the top of the important list. Tom Hardy plays one of the main roles of everything, apart from Peaky blinders. Again though, he is an important role. Cillian Murphy, unfortunately, is not on their level of recognition yet.
