@@PerspectiveEnd not in the ravage scene, but he does pull them out of his wrists when he tricks waspinator 2:40 in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lVS5IwpZYvc.html
2022 was a year where Hasbro reached their best when it came to the Transformers toys themselves, I can’t believe how much I’ve bought last year just because they were all that great! My top 10 list for the 2022 figures that I have collected from best to least goes like this, 1) Legacy Motormaster 2) Legacy BW Transmetal II Megatron 3) SS86 Ironhide 4) Legacy: Evolution Armada Hot Shot 5) SS ROTF Sideways 6) Legacy Dragstrip 7) SG Ultra Magnus 8) Legacy Laser Optimus Prime 9) SS BB Ratchet 10) Legacy Cosmos 2023 is shaping up to looking like another great year, can’t wait for more Legacy: Evolution and Studio Series figures in the future!
@@PerspectiveEnd he’s an amazing figure, he really justifies the leader price point along with what it means to be a leader class figure in the traditional sense. Hasbro have really catered to the fans of Armada, Cybertron and Beast Wars last year and I love it!
Fantastic list PerspectiveEnd!! The only 3rd party merchandise I collected was upgrade kits, so I had no idea these figures existed. Here's hoping 2023 tops 2022 in terms of success for the Transformers franchise. Keep on being amazing.
The Streetwise stands easily beside his teammate. I didn't realize until having him in hand how much the Nissan Z series he's meant to be reminds me of my mom's old EXP in my childhood.
I do like the figure, but I don't think it's quite on the same level of his compatriot. Just a few extra things holding him back. Like how PLAIN he looks. And the ugly head. But it's supposed to be ugly... But it's still ugly.
@@PerspectiveEnd He does come with two extra heads, haven't looked at them to decide which he'll be sporting. Fingers crossed, Blades will be as good a Blades as their Vortex was at being Vortex.
Transart rattrap slaps hard, everything is on point and you can do the dinobot riding thing, also the square things he comes with are meant for the shield you can pop off the red circles on the big wheels and the square will plug into the back and he can use the lance/shield and they can store under the red circles on brown tabs in rat mode. My top 5 would be legacy armada starscream, Metal slug, MMC brawl, newage Optimus, and transart rattrap. The rat is amazing and has everything you need
@@PerspectiveEnd I meant the third party toy; even if the Transmetal 2 Megatron turns out to be good, I wouldn't really want a depiction of that design since I don't really like it.
Here’s mine: Dishonorable mention: Buzzworthy Terrorsaur: Good colors, great robot mode, horrible QC, mid transformation, and (like his basis) a weaksauce beast mode. 5/10 10. Legacy/Siege but better Soundwave: Arguably better than most people give him crap for. He poses extremely well (and he has to for the sake of his gimmick), he looks enough like the character to serve as the default Soundwave for my collection, his playability with his cassettes is nice, and his dropship alt-mode is decently fun. However, due to his messy transformation and the fact my copy was missing a pin holding his right ankle in, he’s not as high up as I was expecting. 6/10, but a 6.5/10 if you have Laserbeak and Ravage 9. Legacy Knock Out: As I never experienced his original Prime toy and refuse to touch anything from RED, this is probably the best Knock Out I’m going to get my hands on. Sure, I’m concerned about the clear plastic and some joints are a bit loose, but otherwise, he’s quite alright. An improvement on 86 Jazz and strangely Knock Out’s most accurate toy. 6/10 8. Velocitron Blurr: Even though I don’t like IDW Blurr’s head, it’s still leagues better than what the 86 mold crapped out the first time. This thing is interesting. While I wish more had been done with the arms and the transformation can be frustrating in places, it captures the look of IDW Blurr well and it poses well for what it is. 7/10 7. Velocitron Hauler: I only wanted this thing because I thought the head was hilarious, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the mold was now that Grapple’s most egregious flaw had been fixed. His transformation is weirdly elegant, he poses well, and his Constructicon green makes him pop where Grapple’s orange made him look bland. Now if only we could get toy colors Grapple with this guy’s tweaked tooling… 7/10 6. Origin Bumblebee: Waited until this year to get him and he did NOT disappoint. Excellent transformation, accuracy, AND articulation all for a Deluxe. I’m honestly surprised we haven’t gotten a “Cybertronian Cliffjumper” retool of this guy as an apology for how much ER Cliff continues to suck. 9/10 5. Studio Series Arcee (Bumblebee) Hot take: this is Arcee’s best figure of 2022. Poses great, looks like the version of the character she’s supposed to, transforms brilliantly, and her space bike mode is extremely fun. She’s an absolute beauty for what she is. 9/10 4. Kingdom Soundwave: Not much I can say that’s already been said. Better than the Netflix version, poses well, and almost equal to the Masterpiece in terms of transformation. Glad to see he got reissued in Legacy and repainted for Evolution- that way, more people can marvel at how well he does what he does. 9/10 3. Legacy Tarantulas: How is this a CHUG figure?! Just… how? He poses well (mainly in the legs), his transformation is elegant yet extremely fun, and he looks show-accurate in both modes. Bravo, Shogo Hasui. If this was an apology for ER Cliffjumper, then apology accepted. 10/10 2. LEGO Optimus Prime: Yes, he counts. This was something I never expected to see given how many times Hasbro had knocked off LEGO, but when it did, I knew I had to have it. Did it live up to the hype? Yes. Yes, it did. The build process is genius. The articulation, while limited by the need for the figure to be stable, is enough to get some decent poses out of it. The transformation is simple but does all it needs to without any faux-forming. And surprisingly, this looks more like Optimus than any of the Masterpieces we’ve gotten from HasTak. It’s absolutely beautiful. 10/10 1. Legacy Bulkhead: As much as I love LEGO Optimus, I knew that 2022’s best would have to go to this big lug. This is to Bulkhead what RTS Lugnut was to Lugnut. It captures the essence of the character more so than a specific version. I mean, it sucks that this was labeled “Prime Universe Bulkhead” because it doesn’t look anything like him outside of the head, but in terms of being a Generations Bulkhead? Oh, he delivers and more. He poses strangely well for a bot of his width, his transformation is intuitive and fun, his vehicle mode is more fitting than the puny Ford he was in Prime, he’s got solid build quality, and he looks great next to anything you put him next to. Just put him next to Origin Bumblebee and it’s 2007 all over again! Overall, best figure of the year. 10/10
Well we aren't talking about the bad figures yet. 10 I wouldn't count him because he's just a rerelease. 9 A 6 out of 10 made your top 10 of the year list? 8 I mean I agree. I'm assuming that your collection didn't expand as much as mine did this year? 7 It's nice yeah. It's just a pleasant twist on the figure. 6. That's a big jump up in terms of quality of figures between 6 and 7 and man it's actually weird, that that one got so low on these rankings. 5. I don't know that I can agree to that, also is it really a 2022 figure? Is it really? 4. Now that absolutely is a 2022 figure, and it sure is fun. 3. It's so good, but this year it just wasn't fair to chug. 2. ... MMMMmmmm... No... No he no count. 1. Legacy Bulkhead deserves more respect than he gets, I get that Prime fans are disappointed about the change but it's still excellent.
Fun fact: the first Rise of the Beast trailer is the most view movie trailer overall, having beaten INFINITY WAR for its spot only beaten by the first two endgame trailers and the first now way home trailer
@@PerspectiveEnd I mean it was meant a total view from all platforms, not just RU-vid. Whilst the designs are fine I have high hopes for the movie. The first one was good and, whilst the designs need some work (LOOKING AT YOU WHEELJACK) I’m still hyped
I can't believe another year where legacy wildrider was robbed smh also side note rattrap did use the bombs as a transmetal the same way, in season 2 he used to knock out waspinator in maximal no more and in the agenda to "kill" tarantulas and obliterate ravage also what a nice looking inferno, looks very cool
Oh don't worry he's going to get a High Spot soon. I remember him throwing them at Tarantuals and them getting stuck on him, I don't remember him pulling them from his forearms.
Been waiting for this video, here's mine Warning: Long Post Top 10 Favorite Transformers from 2022: Before starting I’d like to say that I mostly don’t collect MP scale so you won’t see many in this list. This is also a top 10 favorite list, not a top 10 best list. Therefore some of the figures on the list probably aren’t great but I like them so much that they’re here anyway. I also won’t be including repaints so sadly Black Zarak, who would be a top 3 figure, won’t be on the list. 10. Legacy Iguanus: This thing definitely doesn't deserve to be on this list but I love this little guy. He's the exact type of weird that I love. 9. Studio Series Wheeljack: I started collecting the Bumblebee movie figures this year and I'm so glad I did. This figure is absolutely incredible, it looks like Wheeljack, has pretty good articulation, a good alt-mode, and a fun transformation. 8. Studio Series 86 Perceptor: This thing is basically perfect. The transformation is stupid simple but it's super addictive to me. 7. Kingdom / Legacy Blaster: THIS THING IS A LEGACY FIGURE. IT WAS MADE FOR LEGACY THEN PUT INTO KINGDOM BECAUSE THE LAST KINGDOM WAVE HAD NOTHING! EJECT IS MADE OF TRANSPARENT PLASTIC BECAUSE HE'S SUPPOSED TO FIT INTO THE LEGACY ENERGON WEAPON GIMMICK THAT WAS KEPT FOR ONE WAVE! Great figure. 6. Studio Series 86 Sludge: I almost hate this thing, it's an incredible figure but mine has god awful QC. The knees, despite tightening them are incredibly loose, thankfully I was able to fix the hips, and the wings are so loose. Besides all my complaints, it's pretty much perfect. 5. MP Skids: This is the only official MP scale figure I got this year and yeah, this thing is pretty great. It's transformation is fun but not over complicated, the articulation is above average and it looks perfect. The only thing stopping it from moving up is that the shoulders look weird when articulated. 4. Legacy Jhiaxus: This thing is basically perfect, except for the QC. My only big problem is the alt mode which kind of sucks? It's arguably accurate to the source material but it's hard to say because there's only like two reference images. 3. Legacy Motormaster / Menasor: I'm about to say a controversial opinion. Menasor is by far my favorite combiner. Is he the laziest? Kind of but he is definitely not the worst combiner in G1 from a design standpoint but he's nowhere near the best. However I just love him, and this is probably the best version of Motormaster / Menasor that you can get for around this price. It's just a super fun figure. 2. Legacy Victory Saber: This is technically cheating since it’s made up of 3 figures but my God this set is incredible. Does it have its flaws? Yes absolutely, but I love this thing. If you can find this set for nearly the same price as retail then get it, but definitely don’t spend aftermarket prices on it. Honorable Mentions: Legacy Tarantulas: Great figure but I feel nothing towards it. Legacy Bulkhead: Love this thing but not enough to surpass anything on the top 10. Legacy Arcee: Same thoughts as the Bulkhead. Legacy Shockwave: Pretty much a perfect figure but I feel nothing towards it. Studio Series Bumblebee Ratchet: Just a very solid figure. 1. Lego Optimus Prime: Does this thing deserve to be on this list? No, but I love this guy so much that he just is. Yet I am not incredibly likely to recommend this guy unless you like building LEGO sets. Also funnily enough this is only 1 of 2 Optimus figures that I have that doesn’t have a faux-forming grill.
I've seen longer. 10 He's remarkably good for his size so I can see why you'd put him here. I did Kingdom Soundwave last year. 9 He is quite good, and he does just BARELY qualify for this year. 8 A few minor issues but he's about as good as we can expect a preceptor to be. 7 Oh sure. Sure totally. I believe you. You aren't crazy. 6 It's such a Tragedy what happened with the QC of so many figures this year. 5 Yeah I hear taht MP kind of got back to form with that thing. 4. Is the QC bad on him, it's really for me just that the altmode feels unfinished. 3 I wouldn't call that a controversial take even if I don't get it. 2 I'd say it's more than Technically cheating, if you notice I didn't include the Fully combined mode of anything on these lists. Sorry to hear that about Tarantulas. 1 That doesn't count, that's cheating even harder.
Oh, god. I teared up when you mention Anty. You heartless bastard! That second statement is sarcasm, but the first statement is not. It's right up there with The Thing's dog kennel scene in terms of yanking my heart out with the animals' death.
That scarred me as a kid too. I don't know that I had my Heart yanked out in The Thing's Dog Scene. Like I fully expected what came. Everything about the way the dog was filmed told me that it was a monster, and shit was about to go bad for those dogs, and they were just introduced that moment, so I didn't have time to attach to them.
My favorite figure for me I picked up this year was that Deformation Space Blaster. I got it when it went on sale for $70 and at that price it's hands down my best purchase of the year.
Absolutely, and I've seen it for even less than that. 60, And it's so good. Though to be fair it was that price artificially because of the company getting sued.
@@PerspectiveEnd I heard the same people behind that Blaster have something to do with the new Blitzwing from Star Toy and after handling their stuff it has me interested in that new one if it's true. It does look similar in the way the elbow joints look and the hands.
Looking forward to your review of mmc streetwise. Also when you get it, the gun can be stored under the front windshield, they didn't put that in the instructions, so people think he has no weapon storage
I got my daughter this Sludge and his joints are so damn loose. He can barely stand, his “wings” pop off so easily that I am afraid to move them, and he feels light/cheap for his size. I compare this to leader class Galvatron, for example, and it’s night and day in terms of solidity.
I'm glad you stuck with the Derby announcer voice all the way... Very much the family guy take it too far and then take it a little further and it's funny again kind of vibe
I mean yeah, but at the same time that starts to run into the trouble of having stuff like the IDW Arms which makes it a confused version too, though less confused.
Admit it, either TM Rattrap had to be #1, or it would've been the Mafia thighs for you from the Rat Mafia (always get a kick out of that gag whenever a figure has the legs for it). Seriously though, I don't recall ever seeing you review this figure. I only ever saw Benscollectables' review of it.
TM2 Megatron made top transformer for me, but I'm biased as I've been wanting the original version for a long time and having this one really makes me happy
The thumbnail reminds of one of the shots of the primes from revenge of the fallen, which makes sense considering that these are Gods amongst mortal figures
I just picked up MPM Blackout with Christmas funds (plus he was on clearance), and I gotta say, he’s probably my pick for best of the year. I’m quite smitten with him. If not him, it’s masterpiece Reboost or Legacy Cosmos.
Blackout is easily the one of if not to the best figure of the year, fully posable, great accessories, most clean robot mode, FULLY clean helicopter, it is basically a childhood-dream come true
@@PerspectiveEnd it’s very underrated, being both a bayformer, and being in the (mostly-negative) Movie Masterpiece line, and honestly, initial photos of the figure gave me a heart-attack they were so bad
I really understand this opinion on lists. Just because someone got a great, 10 year old figure in a massive discount off eBay or Facebook Marketplace, it doesn't make it best of this year. I still like and respect those videos and obviously the creator can do what they want, it's their figures and channel, I just think your, for a lack of a better term, perspective, makes more sense.
If I’m honest, my favorite figure of the year isn’t even a transformer. Don’t get me wrong I got some awesome figures like mmc shattered glass Optus Pexus, magic square Optimus 2.0, mmc eris (trans tarn) Kultur, Jhiaxis and earthrise corpse Optimus. Yet my favorite figure of the year is the marvel legends 2 pack venom. Somehow the material they use literally makes it feel like a symbiote, unlike other marvel legends I own the joints are all tight, it nails the look of Venom and the pose ability is fantastic aside from the lack of butterflies. He is my child and I love him.
Glad to see Legacy Inferno on here! I've been thinking of trying to find him after I get Transmetal 2 megatron, though that seems pretty elusive in the stores
I just got him a couple weeks ago and despite the ant legs getting in the way in robot mode, and the weakness of the transformation, he's very enjoyable. His robot proportions are great, color scheme is good, and that head sculpt with the opening mouth just takes it. Only thing he's really missing is his rocket launcher. I'm definitely going to get one of the upgrade kits so I can have that for him and keep the included blaster on his 'blender butt' where it belongs
I didn't expect to see several figures that you haven't even given a proper review yet make the list mainly because I didn't know you had them. BTW, maybe split the annual what's the best between 3rd party and official. That way you don't have to leave out chug.
My top 10: 10. 86 Ironhide 9. SS TLK Hot Rod 8. 86 Arcee 7. Velocitron Shadowstrip 6. Velocitron Scourge 5. Legacy Minerva 4. Legacy Iguanas 3. Legdom Blaster 2. 86 Sludge 1. Legacy Motormaster/Menasor These are only the top ones that I picked up, I’m sure if I had been able to find anything from Legacy wave 2 and 3, this would have been an entirely different list.
As I do the time I comment this I picked up the inferno, armada star scream, and skull grin yesterday and I love them all skillgrin is certainly no looker in alt mode but I can’t get enough of the robot mode, armada star scream feels a lot like the prior figure engineering wise with a few changes but good over all and inferno oh boy is he a treat to handle, I’m looking forward to your vids on the big boys.
Good Lord, I did not wake up this morning expecting to be reminded of the valiant sacrifice of "Anty" in Honey I shrunk the kids... Also, I've heard the Nemesis Prime colors version of MS-02 had some massive materials and tolerances upgrades, so I'm really OPTIMUS-tic that they'll either add those improvements to the next batch of MS-02 vanilla or use it as the basis for a "premium" version with paint and possibly more accessories. I think MS is actually similar to that transmetal Megatron regarding decent pricing for an MP. While MS-02 definitely suffered from some QC issues, the Nemesis version that apparently fixes those issues cost the same amount, and it appears that most sites are charging a >50% markup, as MS sells MS-02 on their own site for $104 or will bundle both it AND the MS-01 deco of your choice for the $170 everyone else is charging for it. This makes other MPs, especially the Unicron Trilogy Optimus MPs coming out right now really hard to justify for more frugal collectors, as they're well over $200
Anty was either one HUGE ant or that was one SMALL scorpion. That pun Hurt, but I'm glad to hear it. I haven't got a TM2 Megatron yet, does he have QC issues?
Ok, then I obviously missed a lot of stuff. I’m willing to admit I’m wrong, it’s probably anything there I missed since it was my first time watching the show so I probably shouldn’t have mentioned this until I’ve watched it another time, so sorry I even brought this up. I’m not shocked you haven’t heard of the figure because I don’t think anyone really knows about it. The only reason I found out about it is because I was just scrolling Aliexpress and I saw it. The only two people I know that have reviewed it (and by that I mean people I watch) are Larkin’s Lair, but he reviewed it back in 2019, and Bert the Stormtrooper and Bert only got it a few weeks ago. Glad I’ve sold you on it because it’s really good.
It's no problem, I enjoy having debates. And yeah, some times the figures come out of no where, and it's like "Man I feel like I should have heard of every last one of these at this point" Like how are some of these still passing me bye.
@PerspectiveEnd yeah there are two small intakes that fold out from the inside of the chest piece that extend a bit. Helps fill it out a bit and make the cockpit area less thin.
Best year for transformers yet honestly, my top few are Transmetal 2 megatron Tarantulas Inferno Laser optimus Ss hot rod Galvatron (gen selects) As you can tell I'm pretty biased and only collect chugs but this year was damn perfect for me
Do you think the R.E.D Line has any chance of redemption? And what characters you would want to see in the line I already know that they're definitely planning a Skywarp to finish the seekers, and me being the number 1 Skywarp fan, I'm going to absolutely have to pick it up. Also dear god the Shockwave is incredibly hard to find, I've been checking like 5-6 different walmarts for months now, and I've seen no sign of both him and even Legacy Wave 2.
I think that R.E.D at least has a slight chance of getting better but they really need to improve the plastics used for them as well as giving them the correct paint apps. Hopefully they’ll improve but for now I’d say they’re just okay.
With the paint QC being as bad as it has been across that line, I expect it's dead in the water as long as they stick to those windowless boxes. It already hasn't been doing well before that. Elsewise I think they've missed a huge opportunity overall with it. They haven't put any characters who didn't transform on screen into the line that doesn't transform... Imagine Quintessons, Alpha Trion, Transmutate etc in that line
@@PlatinumKnight-je3vy honestly I've been handling both the R.E.D figures and Marvel Legends figures, the only difference between materials is that the Marvel figures are denser, they both use the same bendable plastic and gummy joints. If I had to suspect why they feel so different is that the RED figures are mostly smooth and featureless, while the Marvel ones are loaded with sculpted in detail.
@@thesardonicrenegade still the whole point of the R.E.D line is to give fans very accurate and great quality figures of notable characters in the franchise which designs don’t get hindered by transformations, what we’ve gotten so far seems to be half baked and lazy. I know Hasbro do great figures for the most parts, the Legacy figures being notable ones but still R.E.D is a good example of when they don’t put much effort in. I personally hope that the line can be redeemed but I also doubt that at the same time, but at least I hope the people who have them are at least enjoying them.
No RED has never been good, and it will never climb out of it's hole now. The human characters is really all I care to get out of them now. I've given up on the Hunt at this point. I buy online because it's impossible to find what you want in stores any more.
My best figure for this year has to be tarantulas. He was so good and feels so good in the hands and seeing what you said about Inferno (a figure that I ordered and is one the way), I am very excited.
You're going to love him. He isn't perfect at all, but what he does have makes him so much fun and makes it easy to overlook the flaws. It's a lot like Tarantulas, been long overdue for a new figure and the detail they put into it serves it well
@@Kuroketsu I will probably like him more than Tarantulas mostly because Inferno is my favorite beast wars character. Besides Megatron's "Yesss" Inferno says my favorite line in all of beast wars. "Fool! Pain is my friend, allow me to introduce you to it!"
They are both some of the best Beastformers to come out, and Tarantulas would have been on this list in a year where 3P released just slightly worse figures.
@@madhousestudiosdevious Still one of my favorite scenes. Speaking of Quickstrike, I'm looking forward to getting an eventual update of that TIN-horrrned idgit since Silverbolt has been leaked
@@Kuroketsu Just got Inferno today. He is amazing! Everything I wanted! He is one of the few characters in my collection that just feels like he stepped right off of the screen.
I have always said that the transformers figures are way too expensive. But trans arts proves that my estimates were also still *way* the fuck too high. I was always thinking “if they just shaved $5-10 off of the CHUG prices, I’d be happy”, and then these guys show up and make Masterpiece stuff that’s more robust and cheaper than Commander Class. Why are Trans Arts like this? How can they afford to charge so little for so much? Are they bleeding money, or are they the only honest merchant in town?
I have no idea how Transarts manages to make their stuff so cheap, it's cazy, they PACK value into their figures. They aren't quite competitive with Chug, but they are going so much harder than Chug it's crazy.
Legacy Bulkhead is probably my top that came out this year, he’s just so perfectly solid and I love him. But my top that didn’t come out this year but I got it this year is Titans Return Megatron. Idk, he’s just really fun
I've got quite a lot of Birthday and Christmas money and i plan on buying some Transformers figures with it. Like Legacy Inferno, Legacy Tarn, SS Battle Trap. And that's just some confirmed buys, i also have another 100$ from my grandparents too buy my first 3rd party figure ever.
@@PerspectiveEnd Yeah the figure I plan to go for is the Devil Savior Landslip, which is a figure of the Revenge of the Fallen Scrapper. Because Scrapper is my favorite of the Constructicons and my favorite of there designs from the movie, but also because from what I've seen the figure is really good.
Inferno is understandable. I'll go into details when you post the review. Well, glad I have that Rattrap on preorder. I was surprised to see you had it already. I must be getting the 2nd run or something. (and yes, original Rattrap is better.)
I do somewhat remember the name Malvin, what was your old ID Pic like? That's really help. And welcome back, glad to be able to motivate you in hunting me back down.
I can't do a top 10 list myself because I didn't buy any transformers in 2022 and 2023 hasn't been much different. I do like your top 10 list apart from sludge. Almost everything I heard about that figure has something to do with its joints. Other than that your list was pretty good.
Here’s my top ten list of 2022 10 legacy menasor 9 er prime 8 ss fallen 7 wei jiang brawl 6 mpm ko starscream 5 oversized ko ss shockwave 4 fanstoys ko astrotrain 3 mpm ko megatron oversized 2 planet x cacus 1 g creations wrath Nice watching u in 2022 all the best for 2023
I wish I sampled some of these third-party figures, but I'm a student, and I can only blow so much money 😅. Some of my favourites were legacy Motormaster/Menasor, Dragstrip, Skids, Kickback, Jhiaxus Kingdom Blaster, and 86 Ironhide. I also got origins bumblebee this year, and he was amazing. I didn't include Sludge because mine had loose legs
Totally understandable, and yeah that's one of the reasons I wished I had more Chug on this list, more accessible figures on the best of year list would be nice. I'm so glad to hear about the Origins Bumblebee and Sludge, they are so good.
Had a dream last night were the beast wars was in the modern day and the Maximals including blackarachnia and a custom character (or c.c. for short) named blizzard-fang the inu/huskie/Akita. In the story the Maximals are trying to return a little girl to her family but the predacons and even wild animals want her for some reason. The Maximals find out later on that she is "the key" to everything. But what that means went unexplained. On the way to her family a adult male hippo charged at her but rhinox's protective instincts kicked in then with a rhino bellow and a swing of his head and horn send the hippo flying and it crashed not to far way with a hard, heavy thud. That moment has to be the most metal moment rhinox ever had...even though it's not Canon. The Maximals were handing her to the next member of the team. Blackarachnia even held the little girl like a mother would and blackarachnia was even growing fond of the little girl despite her tsundere tendencies. Primal even held her while he was in his flying robot mode. The little girl likes blizzard-fang. She would waddle up to him and pat his head and say "good puppy" Albeit, a litle to hard since she does realize. Unfortunately blizzard-fang almost when down the wrong path on the right but primal warned him just in time to go left the correct path to the little girls family. I thanked my precious wooloo plushie very much for such a great dream. What do you think?
@@PerspectiveEnd from what I gathered from my dream (although this is just a guess since my dream quite literally dropped me right into the action without explanation) the transwarp drives malfunctioned when the axalon and darksyde slammed into each other and sent the Maximals and predacons into the modern day earth with both sides fighting on modern day earth sorta like the comic that came packaged with bat primal and crocogator megatron but with key differences. I guess you could say that my dream was a beast wars what if? Scenario In the modern day rather then the prehistoric era. With brand new original maximals and Predacon warriors with beast modes we never say in the show, comics, video games and so on. Couple of examples are maximal blizzard-fang the Inu/huskie/Akita, predacon jungle beast the stegosaur, maximal windslash the pteratorn, predcon leo/lionheart the lambeosaur and maximal fast point the American kestrel.
Ok, the one in the pictures is the Generation Toys one, just to confirm, your’s is tall, lanky, and has a muted blue color right? Oh and one other thing, if you get your hands on the 9913, could you possibly give it some publication? It’s a Prime that I think most IDW fans who can’t afford either the G Creations or Generation Toys Masterpiece figures, or the SND one or just prefer the Don Favero design would love. And if you get it soon, could you possibly review it on my birthday on March 3? I remember asking last year to do the What’s the Best Grimlock and I didn’t see you’re reply to that until late in April so that’s why I never asked for a birthday shout out last year.
Yeah no it was just google being weird and Dumb, I have the G Creations one. I actually sent you a message correcting my self about it, so I don't know if you saw that. When you say Publication, did you mean Publicity? I mean I was planning on covering it in a video if I do.
I have no idea how but I somehow predicted newage skyfire being on here. Also speaking of newage, have you seen their Omega Supreme. Oh my God it's amazing
I saw your message about confirming that you have the G Creations one, I’ve just confused myself so bad I barely know what I’m saying anymore. And yes I meant publicity. I didn’t know what word I was trying to use.
Um P, how long has it been since you’ve watched Beast Wars fully? I don’t mean just about the Rattrap’s grenades, which yes he had them and pulled them out of his forearms, but a lot of things you said while reviewing Kingdom figures. Waspinator wasn’t all that tall he was just about as tall as Terrantulus (probably misspelled that straight to hell), Cheetor wasn’t that dump just young over eager and inexperienced. Rhinox has normal sized hands. Depth Charge got his beast mode because he was damaged when he crashed on Earth so his computer scanned a Beast mode to heal him (will admit, don’t understand how that worked). I know that there are a few more things you messed up, and I don’t mean to sound mean but I did finally finish the entire series so I have a more recent memory of it. Also, the show is really good, TfP is still my favorite show but this is definitely the runner up. But this might sound like hericy (screwed that up, I know it) but I honestly don’t get how Dinobot’s death was sad or why so many people like him. He never did anything that was actually likable, if I’m being honest I think the Kingdom show did it better, they actually fleshed him out to me at least the only flaw with Kingdom Dinobot is they gave him and Tigatron the wrong voices. Again, I don’t mean to sound mean but I do feel like I need to address these things.
2 years ago I think. Basically just before I started doing RU-vid. I don't remember him pulling them out. I remember him blowing up ravages ship with them. Rhinox does NOT have normal sized hands, they're almost as big as hi torso. Ok, I was going to say that wasn't Heresy right up to the moment you said kingdom did it better. NO. You get the Fuck out with that nonsense. What made Dinobot so good is his Growth as a character, he progressed from a Predicon, to a guy who would willing chose to die for others without question. That's what makes him good. He didn't start great, he Earned it.
This thought just crossed me, you are talking about the 9913 right? Daban Models has made two Optimus’ so I need to make sure you aren’t getting them confused. There’s the 9907 and the 9913. The 9907 is a knock off of the Generation Toys (or Transform Mission since you’re familiar with them) masterpiece scales IDW Prime, which I find funny considering, from what I can tell, the 9913 is it’s own unique mold. There’s only one other chug scaled Don Favero Prime figure and that’s the Toyworld one and they are not the same. Just to specify, if you’re after the one that I specifically recommended it’s the 9913, I want to make that clear because the confusion is the only reason that Larkin’s Lair ended up with his. He was after the 9907 originally but he loves the 9913. I hope you’re making sense of what I’m saying, there’s not really a better way to put it. Also, I read a reply you made to someone’s comment a while back that you’re trying to find an MMC Arcee for a good price. Well I just discovered tonight that Aliexpress has both the hot pink and alternate version for only like $150 at most, so if that’s a reasonable price to you then I suggest jumping on that before they run out. You’d honestly be surprised how many Transformers you can find on there for decent prices, most of the time.
No I had the right one, I didn't know that existed. I knew the Generation Toys one existed, I bought it a while back. It's transformation is a HELLISH experience. Top 3 Worst I've ever handled. Thank you for the heads up I will check that out, I have been looking for that Arcee for a good while.
Pretty sure TM Rattrap uses an explosive charge in Maximal No More to take out Waspinator. But anyway i'm gonna be picking up Inferno soon to go with the rest of my Predacons, I almost have the full team!
2022 was a good year- 2023 is scaring me though, Legacy evolution starts off strong with wave 1 and the second wave leaks look great too. Deathsaurus also looks a ton better built than Starsaber, plus 3rd party like the Newage Omega Supreme and Transart toys figures looks good too, not to mention SS and Rotb. My wallet is gonna be dry asf
For my favourite figures from each series I collected this year, my favourites are SS The Fallen from Bayformers, SS Ironhide from the reboot film series, and Legacy Inferno from Beast Wars. I also realised that the ROTB Maximals and Autobots have similar members. The leader, the scientist, the female cybertronian, and the kid appeal character (although the Autobots have 2 instead of one).
I don’t think Sludge should’ve been on this list. I’ve made it clear that I haven’t loved the thing, but now I’ve come to hate hate him. And it’s not just the QC that makes me dislike it, I’ve gone from just not liking the transformation to just hating it because it just hasn’t gotten any better and my Dino mode won’t stay together. But still the QC send it right to the grave. I know I fixed mine’s loose leg ratchets, I followed Larkin’s Lair’s instructions to the T, but the ratchets are loose again. I’m starting to think that the ratchets just won’t survive long if after I fixed them they go back to rag doll loose. And to add piss to the punch, I think he’s starting to yellow at the base of his neck. I pray Snarl will be better than him, I so pray he will. I honestly don’t know if Sludge will make it into any fan films that have the Dinobots in it because I just hate handling him. Jhiaxus, Tarantulas, or Bulkhead should have taken his place. Hell I’d go so far as saying that Coronation Starscream is the better leader. At least he doesn’t have any fucked QC. And I don’t think your end of year lists are valid for what you’re trying to do. First off, third party shouldn’t count because a lot of people don’t buy third party. Second you can’t say what’s the best chug things to come out since you only buy one chug line. The only way that your chug ranking would work is if you sampled both Legacy and Studio Series because that’s what a lot of people go for to. And I’m talking about more than just the B movie and SS86 sub lines, there are more and potentially better SS figures than those. So in all technicality this is still a “what’s the best things YOU picked up this year” than what was the best of the whole year. I just got Legacy Inferno yesterday and yeah he should’ve been higher on the list.
I could not disagree more, Sludge is easily one of my favorite figure's of the last several years. I have heard about the risks of yellowing that is strange, it has not happened to mine yet. I would file all that under QC. It doesn't matter what people buy, I'm not doing a top 10 of your year list, I'm trying to do a what's we're the best figure's that happened this year list. I'm glad that you like Legacy Inferno he's great. But I am confident where I placed him.
Great to see so many amazing transformers figures in the last few years. It is a double edged sword however. While the toys soar, the films, shows and other media continue to crash and burn
Favorite New Chug: Legacy Jhiaxus Favorite Old Chug: Siege Optimus Prime Favorite 3rd Party: Magic Square Light of Freedom Honestly, it's such a shame that you were unable to acquire Transmetal II Megatron because I have a feeling that he would've definitely made the list.
