Since I've started playing DayZ, I've always dreamed to build an underground base, but with the limitations of the Chernarus map my hopes were slightly fading. Then this piece of art of a map came out, Deer Isle, and i started to dream again. Filled with not just one but so many underground locations to explore and to call "home", this map has totally mesmerized me and many many others. Today I wanted to share with you some of the best underground base locations in Deer Isle, for those who, like me, love to build bases in the most uncommon places.

Yeah, the location is right in the middle of the map and so close to anything you’ll need 👌

What server are you playing? Im on rearmed us2 deer isle. I just want a small hidden solo base.

@@FordMustangGTRocks Right now I’m on a quick vacation break, but for the last month I’ve been playing on the Aftermath servers (Livonia, Cherno and Deer isle) and also the melkart map from Rearmed, as I also play as a solo and the solo,duo, trio style it’s quite good for those like us.

Great video. So what is the least used of those locations? Asking as v new to deer isle and want to go to a spot that will be realtivelg easy to get away with building in. Small 3 man group.

Depending also on the server where you’re playing the ones around the power plant are usually the most contested. The caves E of Oceanville could be a very good option, especially for a 3man squad.

Should have added the one in Stonington that was made famous by Nezar all those years ago. Actually, aren't there 3 in Stonington ?

In stonington there is a series of underground sewers, with many entrances, like those one too, but I did say that there are more than just the 10 I presented.

Do you have any other spots, you would consider "good" to build in? I like these locations but they've been covered a lot lol. I'm new to Deer Isle and about a week n half into DayZ :)

There are more underground and hidden locations around deer isle, I’ve covered just my favorites but for more I recommend you this video from Evolva ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M47GlKfRJmE.htmlsi=8WBh9Jcixmtae45L. Good luck in your adventures, I know DayZ at first might be a real challenge but it’s totally worth the effort, in my opinion.
