Galactic Starcruiser would have been awesome if it weren't so expensive. Maybe have the roleplaying as a nightly thing in the lobby that anyone can partake in, hotel guest or not. And this is also the first time I've ever heard of "Disney's America" park.
To be fair, the Maleficent dragon catching on fire was one of the things that hadn't happened to it yet. Due to it many issues its had since its debut, its been given the name Murphy, for Murphy's Law- anything that can happen, will. There were times more often than not when he either malfunctioned during a show or didn't show altogether. He was amazing when he worked perfectly, but Disney tech wasn't quite up to par for the machine they had designed.
Disney is aware they could just substitute the fire effects for mist and a fiery red colored light for their Malificent dragon animatronics..... right, it would still look like she's breathing fire without the risk of them catching fire
I remember the story of Deborah Gail Stone from another top 10 video. Someone was recording everything that led up to her accidentally being killed, and her blood curdling scream was heard in the background. I don't think the video's real, but people who were there claimed they heard a scream. Poor girl.
This list is really well researched, and I appreciate WatchMojo knowing what they’re talking bout…my one critique is how do you talk about Imagination and not show any of three versions of the ride? lol.
Here’s a Disney list idea. The top 10 times Disney heroes faced their dark reflections, like Hiro and Yokai from Big Hero 6, or Buzz and Zurg from Lightyear, or McQueen and Chick from Cars, or well, you get it.
I originally commented about how you guys didn’t add The Star Wars Hotel and then I realized Galactic Star Cruiser was the hotel and not some Star Wars ride. Apologies to you guys, I’m so dumb. 🤦♀️
He has also voiced him in many video games and animated movies. His last performance is in Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League which may end up not great but Kevin Conroy always will be
I was completely unaware of the dragon being burned to a crisp. I had some memories of it, RIPP the star cruiser would have been somewhat a success had they not made it SO EXPENSIVE!! This is what happens when Disney takes over others and ruin them. Now we'll never get another in our lifetime.
I remember the ad for Beastly Kingdom on several Disney VHS tapes as a kid. Too bad it never happened, but I get why it was too much $$$ for them back then
"While there's much throughout history that the US should be proud of. The country certainly isn't without infamous chapters that the family-friendly Disney might not be well sued to tackle..." Pocahontas: Like me. 😳😳😳 The timing on that made me choke on my drink! 10:53
I've been to Disneyland in California plenty of times, and it will always be the Happiest Place on Earth. But that's not to say that it hasn't had its struggles or darker moments. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness. But I think a shoutout should be given to September 5, 2003 with the derailment on Big Thunder Mountain. Train #2 was sent out but never got the proper maintenance. This resulted in the death of 22 year old Marcelo Torres, who was crushed by the locomotive due to sitting in the front row of the first passenger car. It's because of that incident that there hasn't been a Train #2 since. Also, Chuggaaconroy got his fear of roller coasters because he was waiting in line when the derailment happened.
Sometimes, not all things are magic and dreams coming true in the happiest place on Earth. Sometimes, it's a hellish nightmare pulled straight of either "Berserk" or "Warhammer 40,000".
@@Wiiguy1606Not the recent fantasmic dragon catching on fire incident. But a while back, mickey mouse caught on fire towards the end of the show when the fireworks shooting from mickeys hands caught on fire.
If I were you guys, I'd make this a top 20 list instead of top 10 by also including Genie+ and Lightning Lane, replacing Splash Mountain with the upcoming Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, Galaxy's Edge, Disney Enchantment, Harmonious, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, Pixar Pier, San Franstokyo Square, and Frozen Ever After.
Still remember going to Disneyland in 2000 when I was 12. The Arcade in Tomorrowland was the only part I genuinely enjoyed, the rest was sad disappointment.
It is a shame the current company lost all the money in the parks and all, but this is Disney we’re talking about, but to be honest, it’s not keeping them up at night Plus, with all that movie franchise they own, I am being the best animation and second-best with Pixar. They win every time.
The biggest Disney Park failure was actually forcing LGBTQ+ issues on its visitors. What the ass?! No wonder why many people don't like to go to Disney Park anymore.
@@MrTbk1701 And? What's your point? One thing is being made by homosexuals, and the other is forcing homosexuality into people. Your comment has no sense.
