When it comes to blaster weapons in Star Wars: The Old Republic, the Blaster Pistol has the largest variety in styles, and the highest number of unique weapons with special animations or designs. Blaster pistols are by far the most popular non-lightsaber weapon - the Scoundrel and the Powertech wield a single blaster, while the Gunslinger and the Mercenary dual-wield. In this video, we’ll be going of the top ten most unique, interesting, and surprising blaster pistols available in the game. A majority of these pistols will be from the Cartel Market, so if you’re interested in saving up for one, check the GTN, the player run marketplace, to see how many credits they’ll cost you. While some are in an affordable range, many of these cost millions of credits.

Blaster pistols are at their best when they're based on early self-loading pistols. The Bergmanns, the Mausers even the Lugers (and you may as well throw in the Rugers here too) all lend themselves perfectly to that retro space-gun look.

To your point, call me crazy but I think Rascal’s Way fits right in with that era. Just basing my guess strictly on appearance, it looks like it was derived from one of the Browning designs that Colt iterated on to get to the 1911

The Gambler's Luck blaster pistol is my favorite, mostly because it reminds me a lot of Deckard's gun from Bladerunner, right down to the wooden handle.

Finally the best list since BH Armor. I tend to prefer the simpler looking blasters, but i try to collect all of them on my account. Love the Payday Blaster one for sure, love to see more holsters in the future for sure, thats def my favorite aspect of them. Good work on the list!

Another fun thing of note for the Payday's Blaster pistol, Rascal's way blaster pistol and the Masterwork blaster pistols all have some kind of slide or biece of metal that gets pulled back per shot. it's something i noticed when playing that i thought was pretty neat.

There are so many cool blasters in SWtOR that this list only scratches the surface really, and they can get even cooler if you have an eye for the real-world and film inspirations for them. A lot of the more "simple" designs shown are based off a Mauser C36, same as Han Solo's classic blaster. My personal favorite from this pattern is the HZ-76 Firestorm just for the white color and clean look. If the Agent could use a pistol (and they really should be able to at least as Operative) my go-to would be the GR-4 ST. It's a nice compact design overall that's clearly inspired by the classic Luger, complete with a nice suppressor on the barrel. Alternatively the Scorpion TK Prototype, DT-11, or GL-13 also fill the role of a nice compact pistol. Moving a little outside the realm of pure pistols, if you're looking for something more like the classic Stormtrooper rifle you can't go wrong with the Imperial E-1 Enforcer. It clearly takes a lot of inspiration from the same cut-down German machineguns as the Stormtroopers used while adding some neat orange paint detailing. For more of a Western revolver look, the Nebula and Aikion are good choices, along with Altuur's blasters, Nico's blaster, or the TM-59. Perfect for a Scoundrel or Gunslinger on Tatooine. If you're looking for something that says "hand-cannon" though, there are a few options like the Starforged (my favorite), Balmorran, and Interstellar Regulator's blasters; but really nothing in this category beats out Provenance with that huge animated bolt and RIDICULOUS muzzle flash. The Ardent Defender is a good pick too.

My fav is the D-200 Military Enforcer. It’s a rare item that’s said to drop at lowbie levels from killing random mobs on either Kaas or Coruscant. Thankfully I found it on the gtn a while back for a decent price tho.

ty for including what they each sound like! also, I think the chunky three barrel pistol from the Bounty Hunt event should be on the list. as far as unique, Provenance deserves a special mention, with the muzzle flare and clip that ejects after every burst. plus it's another chunky handcannon style gun.

My personal favorites are Fortitude and Grit that are available at the Cartel Bazaar as well as the GTN. They remind me of IG-88’s blasters. Fortitude especially almost looks like a rifle instead of a pistol! I think the Gambler’s Luck design was based on Deckard’s pistol in Blade Runner. They also made that same design into a blaster rifle (Pure Sabacc) and a sniper rifle (Idiot’s Array)!

My favorite is the one from the Lightside/Darkside vendor, It looks like the Balmoran hand Cannon Grek but has 2 lasers on it top and bottom. I put on the laser sight tuning for a third laser and for some reason I still miss my target :P

I really like the Artful Trickster's Heavy Blaster. It's really sleek and clean with a built-in laser sight and comes decently cheap on the GTN (picked mine up for around 1.4 mil)

I like pairing the Black Nebula Heavy Blaster with the R-30017 Aikion Blaster in the left hand for duel wielding, because the Aikion lacks the holographic targeting reticle out the left side of the blaster.

Smuggler main so I had to chime in. My top blaster is the R-30017 Aikion Blaster I have 100% blasters unlocked for no apparent reason because I have never switched these out. :D For my merc I use the GEMINI MK-5 Eliminator's Blaster Pistols. The cute casing opens to reveal the barrels inside. Tricky, stealthy AND cute!

I picked up the Aikion plaster early on in the game. I tend to use it on gunslingers/mercenaries, especially if I can get one of those Western style hats. When combined with some of the better smuggler sets out there, especially, it looks good.

Artful Trickster's heavy blaster. Have a gunslinger using a pair. Also I have a mercenary using the Black Nebula as a main because of the scanner and the R-30017 as the off hand because the two pistols look so much like each other.

Unfortunately for "Top tens" the coolest ones are all cartel. Maybe in the future I can make some videos differently that are not top tens, but instead just showing off some earnable weapons. I did make sure to include in every video at least a few earnable ones. This list was really hard though and mostly wound up cartel.

FYI: Mischief and Anarchy are the coolest looking, best sounding, and completely bugged platinum items that have never been fixed. Put one on, do a cutscene and you'll end up with your holster on your left hip and pistol without a holster on your right hip. As much as I love the design and would use both if they worked in a heartbeat I have come to hate them because I can't use them.

I can't speak for all of the Holstered platinum pistols. But I can attest that the DT-11 pistols do the same thing when dual wielding them. Cutscenes make one of your holsters disappear on your character model.

The gambler's luck pistols reminds me of "that gun" from fallout new vegas. Coupled with the outer rim officer set, you have a fairly decent courier/ desert ranger cosplay

I use the Zakuulan Exile's and Zaduulan Exile's Offhand blasters. The Zakuulan Exile's Blaster has an animated feature that can change color with your color crystal.

ahh, sadly my favorite 2 did not make the list. Interstellar Regulator's Blaster Dorn because Elara has to match my troopers blaster rifle. Also I really like the old pirate pistol look of the Attuned Targeter's Blaster Pistol you get from the KOTFE storyline. (and it's class based derivatives) Although I hate playing through that story on a non force user. The blaster, much like the double bladed saber, really looks good.

my 2 favorites are 1. the coil cell needler. I figured I would have more fun if I chose a favorite gun, I picked my first moddable blaster 2. the czerka czx-4 is the only other cool blaster pistol I have. I am currently using it on my powertech prototype bounty hunter Gerablo.

the R-30017 is by far the best looking pistol in the game. it is the only model that looks like an actual revolver that you can get 2 of. in the smuggler story, Corso gives you one that also looks like a revolver pretty early on, but you only get one of them, so if you play as a gunslinger, too bad, but thats where the R-30017 comes in.

I saved up the credits to buy the Black Nebula Heavy Blaster back in the day. I thought it was so cool looking. I finally got it, and used it for the first time. I was so disappointed when I found out that it had the HUD. It just makes it look dumb to me, especially dual wielding. I wound up getting the R-30017 Aikion Blaster shortly there after. Quick question, is there a blaster rifle with the same firing effects as the Rascal's Way?

One that I use a lot since it was released is the Payday blaster. It's basically Din Djarin's gun with a scope added to it. That and the Amban blaster rifle looks really good and more simple designs than some that are just silly imo, with glowing lights, wich never made much sense to me. Glowing lights or parts on a weapon is just another way to say I'm over here, shoot me. Same with armors that have lights one them. Might look cool, but makes no sense at all tactically speaking.

I quite enjoy the seasons blaster its the one I used on my Smuggler. I always foget which one I use on my powertech though.

It's a sin the Zakuulan Exile's Blaster isn't on the list, it's off the CM; but it's a hardcore pistol with a color crystal laser attached to a knife on the underbarrel that extends when drawn. It nails every mark on the hardcore grunge/punk list lol
