Louis' best charting song was with Steve Aoki 3 years ago and his album didn't even sell 10% of what Harry's worst performing album sold. Nial's first album did well but he hasn't had a single in the top 10 since 2017. If we take it a step farther Zayn is starting to flop as well his album couldn't reach top 20 in any country. As for singles Louis hasn't had a single chart since Back to You in 2017, Zayn since Let Me in 2018, Liam since For You in 2018 and Nial peaked at 97 on his latest single. They're falling off. Harry rn is the only one who has a steady career ahead and a growing fanbase. The rest tried to ride the 1d wave but the wave can only take them so far. He actually has some pretty good songs out. I absolutely love Just Hold On. And it topped some charts. It's a great song. Then again, Louis has always been a fantastic songwriter, writing many of the 1D songs along with Liam.

Louis and Liam aren't anywhere close to what Zayn, Harry and Niall have achieved as solo artists. Louis hasn't released anything good and Liam has released one good song since. So, to say all of them deserve to be on the list is a joke.

ALBERT' Q' Michael had several number one hits on Off The Wall 😂😂😂 (Don't Stop Till you get enough, Rock With You, Workin' Day And Night just to name a few) and he had his first top ten solo single when he was 14 (Ben). NO ONE even begins to rival the KING. Zayn is talented and all but Michael.... he was something we'll NEVER see again.

Nope, if anything Harry or Niall will be on this list now. They are totally surpassing Zayn now. Especially Niall. Personally I'm not really into Zayn's music, I prefer Harry's. Niall and Louis are really good too. Zayn may have a lot of vocal talent, but he is so boring on the entertainment front. I mean he did what every other ex-boyband member did with their solo music. Went with a R&B/Pop sound. What makes him any different from Justin Timberlake and Nick Jonas. At least Harry had the balls to spin off into a completely different direction than the norm. And he did it with a lot of style and is really interesting. Of course he's always been a better entertainer than Zayn. And he's got a voice to rival Zayn as well. It's not the same type of voice as Zayn's but it's still incredibly good. Niall has really risen in the vocal talent with his solo work as well. His voice somehow got so much better after 1D. Liam has always been a great singer, but like Zayn he went into the same old boring genre of music that every other ex-boybander goes into. Louis actually has some really good songs out now. He's still not as vocally powerful as the others, but he makes up for that by writing some really interesting music that goes with his voice. Louis always been a great songwriter though. So really, Zayn is actually starting to lag behind now that the others are out of the gate and doing solo work. I mean I feel for him with all the hard things he's been going through. It can't be easy. But I think a few of the others will get on this list before Zayn does. I think Niall will probably hit it first to be honest. He's really hot in the charts right now. Harry is too, but Niall is somewhat ahead of him in many of the billboards, not all of them though.

@@infinitesprings I honestly keep forgetting that Zayn has his own music out because it just sounded like every other person on the radio. and he just doesn't seem like the type of guy to promote his music and put in the work like the other guys are. Regardless of the fact that Liam went the same route as Zayn (R&B/Hip-Hop/Pop), Liam is still making himself relevant and doing interviews to promote himself, which gives him a higher standing of "Boy Bander - Solo Artist" ranking. I guess everyone in 1D had it in them except for Zayn.
