Coronavirus all over the place and everything's going crazy.. I turn on RU-vid and there's a new fragrance review by AC and the world seems all calm again..
I grew up in Cornwall. Was a large field behind our house full of lavender in summer. I remember having picnics and just falling asleep on a blanket. Strange how smells bring back complete pictures and memories 😀
Great list AC with some of my favorites included. We need inoffensive and welcoming fragrances to wear in our home. I personally enjoy colognes like the Czech Alpa fougere, and Pinaud citrus musk. Two more great recommendations are Prada L'homme and L'erbolario Meharees which is very soothing in particular. Greetings from Greece and stay safe till these gloomy days will eventually pass.
Italian Cypress is a 70/80s reinterpretation whilst Vert d’Encense is a modern green masterpiece. Never received one comment from the female audience wearing IC, while the VD seems to always get the “wow, you smell lovely” feedback. Not that it’s about compliments, but occasionally you have to ask yourself this question: WTH am I wearing this? Great list sir🤙🏾
Fantastic video A.C. Really need calmed down a little with all this news filling my head, wondering what to believe. Thank You very much for the video. Some nice fragrances. 🙏Namaste
Thank You Very Much. I greatly appreciate the priceless wealth of knowledge you have shared about the powers of different scents. I do believe that scents can invoke different moods. It would nice to be able to "patchwork" a great smelling/therapeutic fragrance!
Such a fantastic video! I love how you build up to your lists by offering thoughtful contextual analysis. I feel like I actually learn something when I watch you! I totally agree with you about Grey Vetiver - such a calming scent!
@@ACSmellsGood honestly i did not expect a reply on my comment, knowing that it’s and old video. There is so much to celebrate about your content- honestly, elegance, mellowness, couth-ness, politeness and again simplicity. Also I would like to shine light by acknowledging on something that is profound in its own way, which are- the motivational and inspiring quotes that uplifts ones mood is like icing on the cake. There is something captivating about you. May you have all the success you aim for and and something that I hope for your channel is that, it grows exponentially. ❤️
Hi AC..trust your great taste, i bought Prada L'homme Intense,Rasasi Whisam Day and Armaf Legasi based on your review, thank you. Regards from Indonesia..stay safe mate
Wow! those 3 are such great fragrances mate, I still love them after having them for so many years :) Many thanks for your wishes and I wish the same for you.
Fellows! It's always nice to hear from you AC. Vetiver is my best relaxing note. My Grey Vetiver is also half way... Beau de jour is also great. I also need Tam Dao in the future... Stay safe my friend... :-)
Good to see you in this hard times ( thank you for the video ) I used perfumes to feel good and to put me in calming mode my perfume of choice for this task is tom ford white suede
Great article and professional executed as usual.. , every body must have some calming fragrances for tranquility , mine is Gucci Pour Homme II - a divine black tea citrus with violets and mirrh ,and some olive tree+ tobacco in the base.
Absolutely fantastic video sir, I need to try Smuggler after this lockdown . you're doing an amazing work. Keep doing. Thank you very much for all the knowledge you share among us. Stay safe and smell divine . 🙏🙏😊
Great show, AC. Empathize with those who don't like the isolation. May change course with my sotd plans n wear some of those mentioned. Will have to try Armani Prives. Wearing Interlude ahem version now and had Xerjoff Alexandria 2 & Oriental (Oud Stars) (hated expressions) etc on board for telecommuting. Thanks for posting.
Great list. Tea like accords in fragrances also has the calming effect. None better than the black tea and tobacco leaf notes present in Gucci Pour Homme 11 which is my main go to in isolation times at home with good company (a non infected co-distancing/isolator of the opposite sex that is Lol). Cheers AC...and take care!
Hahaha I am in stitches by your description of your company. Couldn't agree on the fragrance of your choice and the note of tea. My favorite tea fragrances are Tea for Two and Neroli Outrenoir, try it sometime if you get a chance.
Will definitely do that especially given the fact that GPH 11 is discontinued and now fetching prices of US$150 and up for a 100ml. I may have to be a lot more sparing with it given that its just about half full (half empty is too sad to contemplate! Lol). Thanks for the recommendations!
Hey AC I recently started using a fragrance called zahroff pour homme a mix of lavender +myrrh+incense+sandalwood It really take you down to meditative note
Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Cologne and Lacoste L’Homme Intense makes me happy every time I smell it. It’s just very calming, comforting and relaxing. It has that therapeutic effect every time I catch a whiff of it on me. Shame Guerlain discontinued the Ideal Cologne and so I have 8 back up bottles at the moment xD
If I may add for your consideration, my most beloved calming fragrance: Miller et Bertaux 'A Quiet Morning'.... if you can find it let me know what you think. Cheers mate
Good list. Armani Vert Malachite also has Jasmine absolute and orange and petitgrin. This one sounds very interesting. Is it more masculine because Lilly is serious feminine note.
lacaoste white, burrberry touch. prada lhomme, theres a few i can think of probly more in my collection tbh, waiting for chanel platinum egoiste debahams doin 15% off, been wanting it in my collection for ages
@@ACSmellsGood Hi AC, thanks for replying. I am 31 years old, so I am not sure whether I fall under young men group but I tried La Yuqawam and Shuhrah. I don't like these fragrances. They are very daring to pull off and I don't think you will get any favorable comments from women. I also tried Taa and Waaw, at first I thought Taa is ok and Waaw is not my cup of tea. By the way, Waaw is slowly growing on me since I tried in Autumn again here in Australia. I might buy a bottle of Waaw and Shaghaf since winter is approaching here. By the way, did you know that there is another fragrance called Shaghaf by the house Swiss Arabian? Please let me know what you think? I might buy both Shaghaf just for fun :D...
Gucci guilty, and ted lapidus altamir are very calming for me I think it's the orange blossom that has a calming effect. There's lavender in gucci guilty aswell which has a calming effect. I don't like armaf fragrance's there too sweet and give me a headache. Al sunnah G.I.T , Or champion black al rehab oil's are good G.I.T clones. And there cheap.
I have Bentley Absolute and I love it but....BISQUIT? No I dont think so and you forgot to mention the most important thing which is it smells 98% like Gucci Pour Homme I.
@@ACSmellsGood Hyde won last years Art & Olfactory Awards, so it's not just my nose. Very heavy on the incense, which is why I think you might enjoy it. Voyage is amazing as well, little lighter
would i be getting equally good fragrances, if i got tom for grey vetiver, and diptyque oud palao over aventus and oud ispahan so i could save money iyo? i can get the first 2 for the price of roughly one of the other 2 i mentioned and thanks for the video
