My favotire spot is South Mountain. Nice and flat plenty of wood, metal and crystal spawns and no dinos ever are up there so you can build a massive base uninterrupted.

These are great locations! Next, you'll have to do 10 best cave and underwater locations!

Cool base locations if they aren’t already taken and if you can even get a spot in the already full servers.
