Hey Jay , a friend showed me an EF knife a few years ago, I liked it and bought one. That started my knife addiction, and now I have over 100 knives. Still have that original jade EF41, but her moved on to TwoSuns now. Have a great holiday.
I love your comment about the EF910 Thumb Hole not being accessible!! Instantly reminded me when I purchased my Spyderco autonomy 2, which is a push-button automatic so naturally I was confused as hell when I saw the part of the description that says quote we even implemented the signature Spyderco Spidey thumb hole! Yet it's an automatic so there's no use and second of all it's so small it wouldn't work if you tried

Hey Jay, I own only one Eafengrow, the Ch3002! It’s by far one of my favorite knives. The action is super smooth and it drops shut without any shaking. The Ch3002 has been one of my edc’s since I’ve owned it.
Ruike , Sitivien , eafengrow , ganzo are making some decent affordable knives imo. Buy what you like and makes you happy . I been happy with a lot of knives $50 and under . The cpl hundred dollar I have are nice as well but these ones are right there . That’s just my opinion
Ganzo720 fh41 has been a great slicer for fruits and veggies yall ! Blade is nice and flat . Not quite a hard use knife but more for slicing and priced right
Thanks. I was not familiar with this brand. They seem like a great value. Something I would now consider for daily use on my mini farm. I don't like carrying something I have to worry about.

I love the channel. Love the hat. Just a heads up to anyone who may not be aware. These knives are literally never d2 when they say they are. Iv watched several metelergy test and this brand ALWAYS comes back as fake D2. That doesn't make them bad knives, just a bad company. They are super cheap for a reason. They're fine beaters

Hey Jay, I've never got hooked or interested on collecting knives before but you're channel is entertaining and very informative that I and (I'm sure many others) enjoy every single knives review than any other knife review channels. I got one from Amazon a few weeks ago. It doesn't have a model #! I haven't seen it anywhere else or on any videos. Its big and heavy blade very thick on top its a flipper opens fantastin. Doesn't have billing or relief to press liner lock but I got used to it. On blade it says D2, that's it. Has huge washer around the swivel jus for show I think. Opens better than my other knives. Got the jade scales lots of traction right hand only. Almost looks a little unfinished? Whatever I luv it!
I am a knife enthusiast and collector and I have to say, no matter what the steel is, Eafengrow is a top 10 knife brand contender. My Benchmade bugout had both omega springs snap within the same week, and has blade play from normal, non-abusive use. My EF910 has perfect blade centering, solid lock up with zero play, drop shut ball bearing action, real carbon fiber, and a strong deep carry pocket clip for $30. I’ve owned it for longer than my Benchmade and yet it has never needed anything expect the occasional dust off and oil. If you hate on Eafengrow, you haven’t owned one.
I really like the EF27 which I picked up for under $20, really built like tank for an EDC thick steel liners with G10 scales. A 3.75" x 3.5mm D2 drop point blade with flipper and stud for opening I was not sure about the blue frame colour, but its growing on me and its not worth stripping the knife down to polish it off,

Hey Jay, i've been looking to round out my collection of budget axis-style locks, this video is very useful (as always). you're one of the most astute, yet succinct reviewers out there. i know eafengrow has had issues lying about their steels (they failed almost every luv them knives tests), but their ceo has personally come out and said he'd be addressing and correcting the issue.
Hey Jay nice video as always! I have seen the brand but have passed on several purchases do to not knowing much about them. I have seen another tuber claim the blade steel is false advertising. However it is good to see a review about in hand knife review that you always get to the point. Lol, I might have to pick up one of these do to the appeal factor alone! Wow some of these knives just look good!
Thank you Tim. I didn't know much about the brand until I started researching for this video. I remember that issue about the blade steel. Apparently, they fixed all that, but we'll have to see. Once something like that happens, it's tough to trust them again. I certainly wouldn't blame anyone for refusing to buy their product ever again.

Great video Jay! I have 2 from this brand and I must say that they have a ton of nice designs. I know that their older stuff had different blade steel than advertised but I believe that they have gotten their stuff together now. I have one of the older ones and I'm sure the blade is 8cr but I don't really care. It looks good to me and it was under $20. I'm enjoying learning to sharpen anyway. Yeah, I remember that issue with their steel. I know they make some clones too, but I honestly try to stay away from those. Glad to hear you're still working on your sharpening technique. Thank you Michael.
I m liking the ef335 ALOT . For $29 it’s a “steal” and I wouldn’t compare it to its so called knockoff form microtech because this has a liner lock which is the inky thing I don’t like about the ef335. It hasn’t failed yet but I had noticed how nice it cuts after a strop

A lot of people give EF a ton of crap for copying knives and making them cheap. Look I wish EF would come out with their own designs, and I would buy every single design they ever invented, as EF is often times better than the damn knife it’s copying. After getting called out for not using real D2, EFs craftsmanship has gotten so buttery good!

I have the EF922, it is different but I like that as a budget knife collector. I dislike how the inlay is not flush, my intentions are to one day fix this with an inlay of my own. I like to make knife scales, especially from micarta, and this is what I would probably use. I also have the Eafengrow EF64 which is a small knife and I modified it a bit to have better access to the liner for closing. I have several others but not super happy with those. I like some of these you are showing and my buy a few more.
Hey Jay, I was so excited as I own about 10 EF and 3 Ch knives. To my chagrin only saw the CH3001 Titanium. Mines the purple model. Love it. Was my EDC for quite a while. Need to get the CH3504 in S35V but that skull drives me nuts.

Hey Jay , DefCon's Proelia line must also be done by the same manufacturer, as they have some identical designs as Eafengrow. I don't have any Eafengrow or CH knives, but I do have a DefCon Proelia TX903, which is similar (in aesthetics only) to some Ferrum Forge designs. Its a big, heavy, beefy knife and has some great action, fit/finish and comes in at $35 with G10 scales and D2 steel. I love it for the price... the world greatest beater knife that looks great :)
Oh yeah, it does look like a Ferrum Forge Archbishop. Very nice. I think you're right about the same OEM. The one I saw had Eafengrow branding on the blade.
Ik it says beater knifes but I like my ef blades ,they are some of my favorites in my collection and I compare them to knives 3x efengrows value, so yea good beaters but that's cuz the quality is on par with better companies
Between EF And CH which is the more premium knife? And I bought a Kershaw Strata 4.5 inch blade in D2. It’s light it’s SLICEY POINTY AND THE POCKET CLIP IS SWEET. WASHERS not bearings G10 on one side and I believe stainless on the other side. I TUNED! It up with an edge so sharp it’s hot. Can you suggest an after market co for pocket clips ? Great videos great videos. Have you ever seen jos Townsend on RU-vid ? You sound exactly like him. Once again great videos. I think I have no choice but to send my Kershaw Blur S30v back to Kershaw for some repair work. Blade play👎🏻 rubber scale inserts fall out and as you have told me I CAN DO BETTER for the money. The s30v is so damned sweet though. And it opens like a RAT TRAP! POW💥
