Oh man, I wish you were a Shaman Dev (or consultant). Actually, I wish we HAD any kind of Devs working on Shamans, it's getting straight up ridiculous the level of abandonment that our spec has gotten into.
Give astral shift a second charge Make chainheal strong and give it two charges, so uve a mini CD Remove downpour give us chainharvest back If u stay with those farseer talents i think undulation and unleash life cant be a choice note Make eartshield have no stacks instead just 10 minutes Earthliving weapon could be baseline [could be overbloat in passive healing] Remove some of the two point talents in the class tree for resto so we can pick the throughput

yo i got a cook. give rsham an empowered spell or it doesnt have to be, but i wana see them summon a tsunami/big wave that travels like 60yards and heals and puts riptide on everyone
Great video with a lot of great ideas, Theun. Unfortunately they will not listen to those suggestions and we all know what is going to happen. Totemic will be the only viable version of resto and we will use all CH talents to maximize the healing of the free ones. Again.
This is a pretty conservative wishlist imo. I would like the tree to get a larger rework and focus on two distinct playstyles based on the basic flow of spells cast. I would like to see earthliving given more of a purpose. Unleash life feels like bloat with the modern tree and could use an Empyreal Blaze style uplift(trigger from casting another spell). Downpour and Wellspring feel like extra as well; no synergy with the rest of the spec an not important enough to feel like capstones. Primordial's HW effect feels too weak and should be more of a capstone combo. I agree not always having lava surge feels bad. Hot take: I don't like Acid Raid. And it's a long standing grievance but I don't like recasting ES all the time.
Don’t disagree, I could probably list like 40+ changes that would make the spec better but it’d be very long and they’d start to feel nitpicky after awhile. This is moreso a list of things that, bare minimum, I think need to happen before next expansion or else the spec will continue to have pretty major flaws. Also fully agree on earth shield, I hate that button
My thoughts on a Shaman buff…. Every class does 1% less on their raid buffs than they do now. Having a Shaman increases every classes raid buff by 1%. Do something different with enhance’s windfury totem so it isn’t just enhance that gets that ability versus the other 2 shaman specs. Problem solved. Doesn’t add anything but a buff to other buffs.
I really hate how watered down trees have become, i'm all for going back to smaller trees with points that actually are more meaningful. I seriously don't understand why having to invest 4 talent points into PW to get all its benefits. it feels so stupid.
I don’t like P-wave on any spec. I wish it were gone. I could do without wellspring or downpour as well. All just bloat to me, the kit is perfect without those spells.
