They could also let the totem cast two rains, one is only damage, the other is healing (if you have acid raind skilled). So you wont have target issues.
I think they should change one of the choose nodes to make it function like capacitor totem (for example remove the swift recall talent and add this) and this way you can choose between having it cast healing rain wherever it pleases or cast it where you place the totem so you can use the Acid rain talent.
That's also what I thought once I saw the talents tree : what if my acid rain goes to the hunter who's always in Narnia next to a skipped thrush group.
I like how this tree doesn’t force you to take any specific talent other than Healing Rain. This is the best first pass tree I think we’ve had actually. I think Farseer is a major miss and Stormbringer was better but is very clunky in how it works.
This looks super cool! The tree looks way better for m+. And using more totems is do nice! Just like we used to^^ allso, wonder if chainheal frol totems gives its target ancestal vigor?
Totemic fits way better into the thematic of the Shaman class. Cant wait to play this hero spec. They also could play around with the CBT Totem and make it more significant as it were back in Legion.
I like the tree overall. I think Earthsurge is a bit better than it seems, just from the talents alone one chain heal applies 10% healing amp for 18s to 5-6 targets (even without EST or APT) every 20s seems very good, especially for m+. Love the CBT buffs, love the CH interactions, Lively totems were fun indeed, I would probably prefer them not to interact with tidebringer/UL/High Tide, to make it simpler, also imho better gameplaywise. I totally agree that 40% cast time reduction is very weird for the current Rshammy so I am hoping it's gonna change or cthat it would synergize with some future spec overhaul (if ie. Wellspring gets longer cast time with more powerful effect, the Air buff would be very nice also being on 20s cd). However the random target healing rains procs seem incredibly bad from both the gameplay and the power perspective. Acid Rain, Deluge, Overflowing Shores all rely on well placed healing rains to be effective, it's nice that OS procs 5 times, but what use is that if it procs on a random hunter 20y in Narnia somewhere. Deluge is a 20% healing buff, you don't want that to jump uncontrollably either. Preferring melees would make it a bit better but I would still much rather have it cast the rain around itself and make the totem cast on cursor.
@@theunwow us boomers already tried that like 10 years ago in WoD, u just gotta let retail go dog before it destroys ur soul. There's no hope just cope :]
