I have encre noir sport and Lalique. I wear them just casually and wore the sport version to work one day and 4 guys complimented me on it in one evening. I’ve never had so many compliments in one day before
I had the Lalique year's ago its certainly a marmite fragrance with those very dark undertones it nearly put me off wearing it but once the dry down is gone it comes into its own. I'll definitely have a look at the Sport, probably to use as an everyday scent.
Glad you said that about Eros, because I've been wanting to get it for a while but reviews seem to be really bad lately. But I also have noticed that it's impossible to find a fragrance that isn't brand new that somebody is a complaining about reformulation.

My professional background is culinary. I've noticed a lot of guys starting out like to act like they hate everything, because they're trying to present the idea that they have some kind of superior discerning pallette. I'm a relatively new fraghead. I only recently got bit by the bug, but I immediately noticed a similarity between fragheads and amateur chefs 🤣
Guilty Absolute = Leather soaked in motor oil 🛢. Strangely, I freaking love the scent. The presentation is awesome it looks like a bottle of Bullet Bourbon
Versace Dylan Blue is great i have it and it smells amazing, i personally like Versace Signature its cheap as well and i think its better. Its a projection/compliment beast.
Eros still lasts as long persay- just far less depth. They took out the sugar top and deep base around 2016. It's far more fresh and balanced. No longer a club scent. More for chilly winter days. I have a 2014 & 2019 and I would use each formula for 2 completely different situations.
Hey Man, got a video idea for ya... too 10 most set apart/obscure/unique/kitschy fragrance bottles. Thinking anything along the lines of CH Bad boy, moschino toy boy, azzaro wanted, diesel only the brave, etc. Been waiting for someone to do a video like that because I have a thing for kitschy bottles/presentations, and you got the gnarliest of collections I’ve seen of any RU-vidr! Also, thanks for all you do man. Love the detail you go into about the fragrances in your videos. Not to mention the fact that you consistently bring impartial posture when creating lists meant to be understood objectively! interesting comment. i've been trying to wear it a dozen times at least in the past few months, but i barely smell anything, nor do i get comments from people, which i often do for other fragrances like sauvage, bvlgari MIB orient, bvlgari aqva atlantique...
Joop Homme is my go to. It works great on my skin. To me, woody vanilla with oriental, cinnamon scent. Very unique, lasts all day for once, and it's affordable in the UK.
@@ibrahimyussif9862 Go for it. It's about opinion, at the end of the day. Many hate YSL Jazz, I love it. I can't stand Paco millions, it's too sweet. Many enjoy it. Joop is amazing, as it's not a fragrance that is boring. It develops after a few hours, into a oriental and woody smell, which is classic. Which is why it is a classic. Enjoy it, try and find the largest bottle EDT for £35-37. More value for money, as it lasts at least 6 months of regular use.

Eros today is not as strong as it used to be. I had a 50ml of the older one, my daughter broke that bottle 3 years ago. Mop smelled like Eros for days. Repurchased it aaaaaaaand, she broke that one the following year. The year after that I repurchased it (2018)... I can definitely vouch that its performance is nothing like the past two bottles I had before
YSL Kouros is one of most Iconic fragrance. In its own era Kouros was most elegant scent, however it's simple these days. I believe YSL proud of it, YSL became the most respectful fragrance brand for me by kouris
I bought eros about 2 months ago, and that thing is a Projection Monster! It's still a great fragrance to wear. I didn't really live the scent so I sold it on Mercari. Try Mercari for buying new and used fragrances.

Bought Encre Noir recently, it opens up woody and paint like reminds me ...of Home Depot (not a fan), then after a few hours the dry down is much more pleasant with that dark elegance. Ill give it more wearings but I ll see about swapping it for Encre Sport or Extreme

Well, I just did something I've never done before, a did a blind buy. You talked me into trying Bentley Intense without trying it. I hope I like it. Also, I was big into Kourus back in the 80's and I didn't like Joop!. So I trust your recommendation. We'll see once I get Bentley Intense from FragNet. Thanks
People talk about cheap 50ml bottles but when you break down the price they are not really cheap per oz/ml. It's a great option if you want multiple bottles in your collection. I spend the extra money and always buy minimum 100ml.

Kouros blind buy in 2019, smells like old man stench , and not because its outdated its because that what it smells like, in the dry down even worse, its very strong and you will wish it wasnt.
