I would want full disclosure on the history of all these lands and I would research it myself extensively because there is clearly something wrong with these locations. And that library is something I could lock myself in for days and not emerge. Stunning!
Exactly, not only the taxes are astronomical, there is probably back taxes owned which might be triple the amount listed for these properties. Just like there is hundreds of properties listed in Detroit for $1...
@@sandyamaral111 Yes, we checked on several properties, the land tax is attached to the title and Must be cleared in Escrow at transfer of title. Most counties and provinces will accept a "Short offer" where you pay half or less of the Past Due, as long as you sign to be Guarantor of the future payments until sold again. A few properties have the attached requirement to Remove the existing structures because of rot, black mold, or the millionaire's that built them paid off the inspectors because something didn't meet code standards. So the demolition permit and all expenses go to the new owner. In most cases it wasn't worth the hassle or expense.
Any historical home cannot be updated. You have to hire a million dollars worth of handcrafted repairs to make them livable. Another problem is killer insurance on waterfront. What has been built next door (crematorium, insane asylum etc) could be a downer.
When he says under the radar towns and suburbs, that is your answer right there. Probably very few people, not a lot of jobs out there, could be high crime rates. Most old houses don't have that cool of a backstory.
Next time give us more backstory details and history of these places so we can know why they are not wanted. Haunted, bad environment, crime, radiation or other significant concerns.
OMG! I so want either the Scranton house or the Shelbyville one! They are 100 times better than my current home and 10 times bigger! I need extra rooms for my crafting! Great finds Kyle! 👍🏻👍🏻
It would be great to you could do a follow up and say which ones are still available; the annual operating expenses and taxes for each; the safety of the community and the reason why noone wanted to buy them in the first place.
To anybody wondering why they’re so cheap. Maintenance of such a large home is not cheap,as well as property taxes, heat, electricity, water, etc. I can for sure say the one in Scranton, PA is so cheap because Scranton is a pretty unsafe town to live in. The FBI states it as “not safe”.
So the second home is actually located in Kilgore, Tx about 20 min from where I am from in Longview, Texas. I also graduated from nursing school at Kilgore College . The city has a rich history in oil. It is located in a quiet area. I have actually seen the home it is beautiful to have been built long ago
Wow I live in Pennsylvania the prices of these Mansions is the same cost to buy a three bedroom nothing to brag about home here. But with these Beautiful Mansions you must be willing to live with the paranormal. 😳😲
Loved this! I would love to live in any one of these mansions! Where could one find these? Could you please provide a list of the property addresses, maybe? Thank you!
Geez these are sweet places to live! I like the yellow one between each house! Lol. The last ones was cool with the green step up tub. These places are cheaper to buy than where I live in Nevada. Nice video Kyle. Going to post on your second channel soon? Stay safe out there n God bless.
Tracy Warbritton Scranton isn’t what it used to be it’s so crime ridden now but it is a beautiful home when my Grandma was still living 28 yrs ago it was starting to get bad then unfortunately
All these homes are very reasonable priced ,considering they are mansions. The library room ,would be great for someone with a lot of books! Great finds!
You probably never have been to Scranton-wilkes-barre you just watched the office a couple times and that wasn’t even filmed in PA. Scranton is a college town and they have streets of bars that are all pretty full on weekend nights. Isn’t that what describes nightlife.
HAHAHAHA I just Imagine Michael Scott two was the general manager of a paper company in downtown Scranton Pennsylvania… He was kind of a loser but at the same time he has a good heart. I miss that fool 😎
Hi there Kyle ....just being curious ...How come these mansions are so CHEAP ??? Is there anything the sellers /owners are NOT telling us ??? Any strange clues we as possible buyers want / need to know ???
Do the oldest ones still not have central air conditioning or central heating? Then some of the really old aren't constructed with any where to run the pipes to install. Is their asbestos? Those are my first questions.
It would’ve been nice to see the listings of the houses, especially if anyone was genuinely interested in them. Any way they can get added to the description my lovely? Great video by the way :)
Had one in Florida on the bay sold for 1.5 million but the taxes were 15K a year! Had it built for 425k plus the lot for 175K in 2000 imagine what it would be now! Couldn’t afford to stay! Good investment though!
Kyle, I really enjoy these wonderful videos of yours! I'm searching for properties that would be great for setting up group rehab homes for troubled kids. My vision is a huge log style home on acreage where we could have animals, including horses, so it would need a barn. I'd love to see you do a video of comparisons of various homes that would fit this kind of situation! 💖
Kyle can you give us an update on if these houses have sold during the past two years with the housing shortage? I am curious and I am also looking for an investment on historic properties. If you get a chance I would appreciate any new/updated info. Thank you
Kyle, I stumbled upon your video. I enjoyed the homes, but why not give a link to where one could find out more. I might be interested in one of those homes. Also, you didn't mention the price of the all brick home, and which Shelbyville?? Thanks!
JohnnyDemarco by doing some research on them for his video, as there are other videos like this on youtube with back stories on the mansions where they say it’s haunted etc. which is why they’re so cheap
West McGee huh? Do the realtors who market the homes online disclose all the issues? Do you want this guy to travel to all the homes, inspect them and interview neighbors?
Please tell us why these houses are so cheap! There must be some issues. I absolutely love this video! I’m at a place in my life where I am free to go anywhere I choose so this has been especially exciting to watch! Is there such thing as a National Realtor? I can’t wait for this next adventure in my life! For the first time, all decisions are mine to make, which is liberating and beautiful but also scary for me! Thanks again for this video! Could you do another video that explains the history of the houses as well?
The handsome home was definitely a FUNERAL HOME!!! 17 ROOMS??? What he calls a "ballroom",was most likely where services were held. Take another look at those rooms, 🤔"perfect for displaying your urn and coffin collection"....🤪🤧
This is a Nice video.... So inspiring but do anyone knows about expert Mrs Lisa. Mrs Lisa is legit and her method works like magic I keep on earning every single week with her new strategy
My first investment with Mrs Lisa gave me profit of over $24,000 us dollars and ever since then she has never failed to deliver and I can even say she's the most sincere broker I have known
How do you find these places?! I’m looking for a new home in Huntsville, AL, and I’d love to find a gem like one of these places. Thanks for putting this video together.
Probably just location. I knew a lady who bought an old mansion with a guesthouse for a cheap price. She was living on a teacher's salary, but it was in a small town that was a long commute to the city, so property value was low. It's almost always more about location than the house.
Where do you get you math. I just bought a 3acre farm in California for 330k property tax is 3200 a year. And it was in foreclosure. Do you even own property. Do you know what escrow is.
@@jennatolls8369 Yes Jenna Trolls, I own 6 properties, 4 on a lake near Seattle, average $30k a year in property taxes due to waterfront, 1 on lake Washington that is nearly double that, and the property values are only between $700K and $2.7M. Some of the properties shown in this video would exceed $30M in value. People are Fleeing from the corruption and woes of California, which explains your cute little hobby farm at $300k. Before you open your mouth again to go ripping on someone with your Vast Land Baroness knowledge, why don't you take a minute and lookup these properties in their tax assessor records. You may be surprised. And as I'm sure your Highness already knows... property tax is the only debt that does not get eliminated in bankruptcy. The Rapper Ton Loc bought 35 acres for $500k, property tax $4,500 for the dirt, built a $5M house with All the toys. Tax Shot up to over $70k per year. He couldn't afford it after losing a recording contract. Moved out 12 years ago, still vacant today and the tax keeps going up. It was a beautiful house but even Real estate millionaire investors won't touch it. There are Hundreds of properties around the nation like this. Have a Glorious Fantastic Day, and be sure to wipe down your phone, there may be a virus here 👍👍
@@timmorris3056 in that property taxes stilled owed be specific next time on the type tax I was assuming regular property taxes not if it had owed taxes. Usually one looks into that before buying the property. And the 3 acre is actually a hobby farm family owns a 4.4 million dollar cattle farms. If people can't be responsible with their buys they deserve to lose it. A constant income is key I'm not knocking you I was literally trying figure were those numbers came from which now makes sense
@@ArcticZombie My girlfriend's dad is very rich and bought 5 houses here in Melbourne, Australia. The most expensive one is 600k and it's just a 2 bedroom humble apartment. So yes these are super cheap
I like a few of them but for me its a no brainer, I would take tne mid century modern, with the library!!! I have always wanted a house with a library!! I live in Canada so mayne it can be my vacation home 😂 I wish lol
