Thanks so much! Planning Nile river cruise soon. Great tip on under garments and especially feminine hygiene products! Being real is what we need to know Thanks again!
I broke my leg in Aswan because of bad footware so do not worry about fashion. Also waterproof shoes if you swim in the Red Sea then beware of Sea Urchins. Agree about the hygiene products too cotton under ware though is better because of the heat. 120 degrees at Aswan 😮
@@traveltipsbybill No the Temple of Hathor and was taken to the military hospital in Aswan they were so nice. The doctor was the radiologist as well. Had a big cast, so I missed the temple of Karnak when we got back upriver because I had no crutches( only a walking stick we got in a local shop) and it was so much walking or hopping in my case, I just stayed on the boat. We did have a good laugh though with the other passengers. I got nothing but kindness. Though I did have to sign a thing for the tourist police that I wasn’t attacked. Absolutely true story. We went on to The Red Sea and I paddled one foot in the sea lol 😂 holiday to remember. Ps. My leg had to be re -set when I got home took 6 months to heal so good footwear essential.😂😂😂😂
Interesting Janelle loved her Capri pants. One of the big reasons was the zippered pockets where she could safely store items and it was loose fitting as well.
I would think the same items you would pack for Egypt you could easily wear in Israel. Our last trip to Egypt was just a couple months ago. We were there most of February and March and also did a week in Jordan, which as you know, borders Israel. At one point when we visited the Jordan river where Jesus was baptized by John we were literally 50 feet from Israel.
Amy we just got back after 6 weeks in Egypt and Jordan. If there are any questions before you go please feel free to bounce them off us. Also we made several contacts when there if you need recommendations of folks in country.
We did Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbal, Nile River cruise, Luxor, hurgada, Sharm Al Shaq, and a week in Jordan. We highly recommend Jordan. You must go see Petra and the Wadi Rum desert!!!
