Blair was fired from Anger Management because she dared to comment on Sheen's lack of professionalism and punctuality on set. Not because *she* was the problem. Unless you call trying to get a coworker to be better a problem.
I think they have the wrong take on this. The scandal was her being fired! (Or maybe it was a scandal to expect Charlie Sheen to behave as an adult???)
No!!! she thought she WAS a bigger star than John and she was not. Her old man that was her manager talked her onto not showing up. Eventually she found work with a bendable bar excersise machine. Lol. She was ridiculed and mocked for years to come and rightfully so. John Ritter never forgave her for trying to destroy the show and the lives of other actors but it backfired on her. How do you not get that???
@@bingovegas4867 because that’s not what happened!! John asked for a pay raise, and got it. Other stars asked for it to, and while they gave other male stars raises, they fired other female workers!!
@@brokendays John Ritter was the star of the show, it said so in his contract which is why no other cast member can make the same amount of money as he was making, Meredith Baxter berney from family ties had the same kind of contract, which is way Michael j. Fox never made more money then she did.
It all started when Don Johnson threatened to leave "Miami Vice" if he didn't get a payrise. He got the payrise, so others on other shows tried it too. I also notice that make stars seem to get the payrises but female stars got fired instead.
Omg, wrong. John Ritter Was THE star just like Ed O'Neil on Modern Family who was paid top dollar way above stars like Ty Burrell and Eric Stonestreet along with the cast that no one knew??? Eventually becoming a breakaway major hit everyone got major pay boosts in their readjusted contracts and by the end of its run ALL were multimillionaires. You obviously know nothing. Somers was way out of her league and stopped showing up because her clueless manager husband told her to. John and Joyce along with co-stars all agreed she was poison and they would and did continue without her. Producers would NOT allow her on set and built a tiny room with a phone where she could call in her few lines saying she was going to be out of town for awhile. She did it to herself and Hollywood big wigs wanted her blacklisted and she was. Years later she tried to say John and Joyce were over it and they were good. They ABSOLUTELY WERE NOT. PLEASE DO SOME RESEARCH.
@@dhenderson1810 Sometimes, race is a factor with these issues, too. While they didn't get fired for it, the reason that Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park left the Hawaii Five-0 reboot, after 7 seasons, was because they tried to negotiate pay raises, due to their white co-stars, Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan, making more than the two of them, despite all 4 of them being the main characters, but the raises they were offered wasn't on par with what their white co-stars were making. Kim and Park decided to quit, after that. While it's a shame that those 2 left, I don't blame them for it.
Somers was right in trying to negotiate for more. Losing her was pretty big - and even though it didn't kill the series, it made other producers think harder about doing the same thing. And she has never been forgotten. Nobody ever talks about Three's Company without talking about her.
No, it gave producers a excuse to fire you if you do ask for more money, why do you think dynasty’s pamala Bellwood and Catherine oxenberg where fired? Because they ask for more money and the producers didn’t want a repeat of Suzanne unprofessional behavior.
@@netgnostic1627 refusing to show up for the taping of the show is beyond unprofessional, Suzanne did just that in season five and that’s why she was fired and sued for breach of contract. As they say time is money and her unprofessional behavior cost the cast and the crew money.
"The Goldbergs" really didn't handle Jeff Garlin's exit well at all. Murray would barely even be in an episode, with him having a random line in the middle. This was especially obvious in Erica and Geoff's wedding episode, where they superimposed Garlin's head onto a stand in's body, and used prerecorded dialogue.
I spent about 25 years in the Industry in media relations. One of my absolute worst days was having to spend hours at a press day with a drunk, loud, abusive Charlie Sheen who arrived 2 hours late. The day was set up by his brother Emilio Estevez for a film they were both in.
For me I think that's the saddest thing to hear that people who make it big don't use that reality to find a happy place and enjoy their success. Charlie is a prime example of money NOT buying happiness but it can sure rent some for a while. But at what cost...
Sharona in Monk also asked for a higher pay when she felt the series will be a hit. They replaced her with Natalie and it worked also well for the series. Sharona came back for an appearance near the end of the series.
Monk is a great show.I hated Sharona leaving and thought show would die.Wrong, Natalie is a great relacement.Trivia---Natalie always called him Mr.Monk while Sharona called him Adrian.Does not matter 2 me.Just a little trivia from a great show.
Charlie went from cool actor to douchebag..power and greed just ruined him! Rosanne's mouth finally caught up with her, especially when she needed the money, losing her Hawaii home and living in a small apartment. She knows she really f'ed up and told a reporter her crude joke cost her more than people knew ..
I knew a local person with an international identity who once had an occasion to host Chase for a house party, and they asked him to leave and do not allow his name to be mentioned EVER again as a consequence of his behavior. There's more to it than a couple of cuss words or insults; but they will not say more.
Should do a version of this list but with Animated series so we can talk about Justin Roiland and the Creator of Clarance being fired from their own shows.
Threes company had three pilot episodes, John Ritter appears in all three while Suzanne only appears in the last one ,why? Because the show was built around the star of the show, who is John Ritter. Suzanne needs to get over herself, she was just T and A and nothing more.
Polly Holliday, Diane Ladd and Martha Raye were fired from "Alice" after eight seasons. Josh Byrne and Bronson Pinchot were fired from "Step by Step" after six seasons.
Amazing video ms mojo of sitcom actors scandal got them fired from there shows, fantastic job. I try to get into the Conners with a few episodes feel like more of a drama then sitcom and it was not all that funny,it’s as no heart to it too.
It has been years, and two administrations, since Roseanne's comments,. The station needs to get over it and put her back on the show. If she had insulted one of the Trump Adminustration, rather than the Obama one, she would have got a medal for it. If I was her, I would have owned the rights to the show, so if she gets fired, the show is finished.
@@emiliobello2538Why, what's wrong with what she said? I can't stand Roseanne, but I hate political correctness even more. She didn't kill someone, she said a word. Hell, if Jarrett can't handle that tweet, she is in the wrong profession as politicians have much worse said to them. Why is someone fired for racist tweets on Twitter, but not for sending death threats or saying far more horrible things?
Some of these were because of no fault other than the actors were bad people in real life. And you forgot Gina Carano getting fired from The Mandalorian, but then that’s more of a sci-fi show than a comedy.
It's a shame that Chevy Chase didn't like the show, he was actually super funny in it. It was probably because Pierce's racism was flanderised, and he was turned into a caricature of his former self in Seasons 2 and 4, which led to him storming off the set during filming.
Because the audience liked him due to his physical comedy and sharp timing. Though, at the the same time, they didn't know what was going on behind the scenes. Since the audience loved him, he kept getting jobs.
It was actually the movie she did with Mickey Rourke called Angel Heart that got her fired, not her getting pregnant. Cosby didn’t like the fact that she did such a movie that was so divergent from her Cosby Show character plus the movie initially got an X rating for its sexual content.
@@kenyattaclay7666 No. While Cosby hated "Angel Heart", it was the pregnancy that got Lisa fired. That is confirmed by Debbie Allen (who has a video on RU-vid talking about it) and Lenny Kravitz himself in his autobiography. It's crazy to think that just 9 years later Hunter Tylo would sue Aaron Spelling for firing her for being pregnant and win $5 Million. I wish Lisa had done the same.
@@RhaegarTargaryen1st Debbie Allen wasn’t brought in until the second season so she wouldn’t have known the specifics. Also, Cosby had plans on putting her back on the show & only put her back on the Cosby Show to better explain her absence when she had to take maternity leave. However the more notoriety that Angel Heart got the more upset Cosby got and when he made that passive aggressive move by wearing that t-shirt with a big X on it everyone knew that Bonet’s role on both shows was going to be drastically reduced. If being pregnant were really an issue then he would’ve done the same thing to Phylicia Rashad when she got pregnant. Bonet was 21 & married when she got pregnant but the movie & a top less photo shoot is what upset Cosby the most. Lastly, she wasn’t completely fired until 1991.
Let me ask you about this T.C. Carson from Living Single he decided to pay the fined his cast mates alongside Queen Laitfah, Erika Alexander, Kim Coles, John Henton, Kim Fields, and Mel Jackson and Cress Williams
I haven't watched 2 and a half men since charlie SheIn left it's just not the same and I've never like fuller house it just isn't the same as full house
Nicole I'm the same even though I liked Alan but I just couldn't get to grips with Ashton Kutcher taking over but Alan and jake and berta still being there I just couldn't get to grips of it itxxshanna
It's not fair that Suzanne Somers got fired which she shouldn't have because she asked for more money that's sexism at it's finest thanks to ABC at the time and if she went off to do other things in her life let alone her career good. & I feel for Valarie Harper to it truly sucks.
I read that after shooting the pilot, Anita Barone didn't believe that F.R.I.E.N.D.S would be a hit so she left. Source: a random website listed as 100 facts about F.R.I.E.N.D.S
Julie Mccullough was fired from Growing Pains because of nude photos resurfaced, there are only two people that got fired from hit sitcoms Mackensie Phillips from One Day At A Time, being the other.
Chevy Chase. Dan Ackroyd. Bill Murray. I have enjoyed their work forever but do understand how flawed and unprofessional they have been at one time or another. So long as I don't have to be in the same room with any of em all good.
Seeing this list, I KNEW *CHARLIE* will be nr 1. Even ending of Two and half men was suppoused to claim, that Comedy Central won, when they crashed him with piano... But TRUTH is, even Ashton Kutcher didn't save the show, that could be as much called Charlie Sheen show. 🤷🏻♀️
And Masterson was found not guilty if I remember correctly so he shouldn't have been fired Tyrant Lori from Fuller house was ridiculous that wasn't a crime she was supporting her children
Masterson getting fired is really about ratings. If the shows execs feel bad publicity will hurt the show's ratings they will fire the party in question. It's Marilyn Manson situation all over again and we all know how that turned out. I always hope that if these celebrities come out innocent that they would sue the show for wrongful termination, but Hollywood will never let that happen.
I don't blame Danny Masterson. I blame that Scientology Sect. He was lost the second he joined. We will know in a month what his future holds, but these show's will always fire their stars if they feel keeping them will hurt the show's ratings. Hollywood will always abondon thier stars to save thier own ass. As for Chevy Chase. I wouldn't share a drink with him for fear of knocking his teeth in, but I'll watch his movies 100x over.
The personal life of someone shouldn't be important or a reason to let someone out, if he/she is good for the work them suck it up and keep making money
My attitude is that I get paid for the work I do. During my work hours, my employer can care what I do, since he is paying me for it. But off the clock, it is my time, and I don't get paid for those hours, so I am not beholden to them during that time,
Someone's personal life can affect the work they do and it can also affect the way people view the show they're in. I mean most people wouldn't want to watch a show with someone charged with a crime.
@@justalula7151 why? Did knowing that Kevin spacey did what he did makes 7 a bad movie, did knowing what and a.h. Stanley Kubrick is makes you hate full metal jacket?
It's a morality and an image thing. Like, no company wants to associate themselves with an employee who does/did a serious crime such as bribing a school or sexual assault. It sends out the message that they tolerate such actions and the general public doesn't like that. I'm sure you'd feel that way if Masterson assaulted one of your daughters yet you continue seeing him on The Ranch.
In all fairness to Charlie Sheen. He was HIV+ and if that was me, it doesn't matter how much money I had, I'd speak my mind. It's just a shame Chuck Lorre took it personal instead of getting to the bottom of it sooner.
He was HIV positive and refused to tell sexual partners. She was late to tapings, or would no show, acted like a diva on-set, and then taunted Chuck Lorre to fire him, the "star" of the show. Lorre fired him and then Sheen whined on talk shows, bagging the show and those who worked on it, and talked jibberish. Also, he got precious when Selma Blair rightly complained about his unprofessional behaviour. Sheen has done other things, like shoot Kelly Preston in the arm, he beat up two of his wives, and has been accused of being the one who touched up Corey Haim when he was younger. Charlie Sheen is a scumbag and a lowlife piece of garbage. Charlie Sheen is a scumbag.
Half those people were wrongfully fired, Suzanne Somers, Chevy Chase and especially Roseanne Barr! They were funnier than the rest of their cast members!
