As a disabled woman, so many of these inventions have made my life better. The robot vacuums, the home automation, the ability to control things with a remote, such as lights and things. There are so many ways, people don't even think how much the advances mean to the disabled community
I'm just astounded by wireless headphones. Got some wireless buds on and I can barely feel them. No getting them yanked out, and no breaks in the cable around the jack. It's amazing. It's like having the sound on without anyone being annoyed.
my family installed number 1 into our house a while back. and it's really awesome. you can get the temperatures you want in between super hot and super cold to make it just right.
I understand that a product that costs $19.99 seems so much less than $20 when you aren't thinking about it. But do sales REALLY get boosted by that TV when it's sold for $119,999.99 instead of $120,000? Has some wealthy person been like, "No $120,000 for a television is too much... $119,999.99! Now that's a savings!"
Gosh Imagine the nightmare...you stand up...its 5 am...you walk into the kitchen...and instead of your perfect espresso to boost you out of sleep...you got...TEA
Literally every single one of these either monitor you in some way shape or form, or are easily hackable for intrusive, dangerous situations, or at the least a nuisance. Safety> Convenience
I'm engrossed by this. I recently indulged in something similar, and it was truly engrossing. "Game Theory and the Pursuit of Algorithmic Fairness" by Jack Frostwell
+Devonte Stafford home security system are not online or in your phone. if some hack your phone and open the door they will still need your security system password. also it is easier to unlock a normal door knock.
Many people are commenting that this gadgets can be hacked as if it was that easy, but I have a question. Would it actually be that easy to hack? (No hate, I'm just curious) (Also, sorry for my bad english)
Notice how all gadgets are ALWAYS iPhone compatible coz iPhone is the gold standard... while they take months or years to pay attention to poor android users lol. #TeamiPhone
+Josh Wilson exactly anything iphone brags android have been doing for years. the price is a factor too apple is over priced and often cant match android specs
So am guessing if the energy went out, all this stuff would become nothing? Its helpful, but I hate the thought of having all those gadgets and one day not having electricity and it going out. Then me restarting it all!
Seriously does anyone use these at all or have them in their home they are great but does the average person have them. and how do i purchase these link please thank you :)
Are you joking? I've seen curved screen display units in stores. For what marginal improvement it makes for the focal point (singular) it wrecks the view for everywhere else.
All very good gadgets. Until the phone battery dies. And the internet goes down. Or the gadget breaks. Then you can't come in your house, or your door will always stay open. Among other things. But hey, nice things!
totally agree. It has been proven in many reviews and by users that curved screens are utter bullshit. They have reason of being. Very large cinema screens are curved to counter the cushion effect of the projector. But on an OLED screen there is no projector who could distort the picture. Just another way to justify a super high price and skim money from those who can afford it before the flat "peasant" OLED's are available.
Cool and all but half these things exist outside the Americas. I live in isolation, on an island, where technology is a couple years behind. There isn't even Amazon. This place is called AUSTRALIA
No one does . the government has computers to look for key words . to detect terrorism. they can't go around reading people emails , because there are millions of people and only a few 100's or a 1,000's government employees .
All these look great but what if you lose your smartphone. Or worse have a cold when everything is on voice recognition.Me: "OMG the house is on fire with me in it........Siri call 911"Siri: "Voice print does not match, command ignored"Me: "NNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Can any of these things work without an home Internet connection? My neighborhood is one of the few in this country that does not offer Internet by any company except two very expensive, limited data satellite companies. I am thinking direct bluetooth connection.
+Lynch_91 If you are older 35... a lot like the 80's and beyond. the outhouse still stinks and programming the VCR is still as difficult as ever. lol. Actually, i do have a few tricks up my sleeve. A few of my favorite wifi hot spots are in town but we are looking at about 15 miles away, often times not wanting to even get my breeches on but I also found a app that allows me to download RU-vid videos so I can later watch them in the comfort of my own home.
