That cop that planted drugs on innocent people and arrested them only got 12 years! NOT enough. Thought racketeering was minimum 25 years. When a police officer betrays the public’s trust like that they need to break it off in their butts.

Need too to redo the court system and hold judges and attorney generals and district attorneys accountable for not charging police officers for crimes against humanity and the democrats and republicans needs to take qualified immunity from the courts and police departments and districts attorneys and attorney general of the United States and his assistant attorney general’s because they and the chiefs and sheriff’s of each cities and counties do not hold their officers accountable so in my opinion the hold system is broken because of them getting to much power and money

Everytime one of these cops get caught doing some crazy shit I find it totally bizarre when the departments say they will increase/improve training after one of their cops get busted for raping minors and running a sex trafficking ring. Like more training will weed out the recruits that have psychopathic or sexual deviant tendencies. News flash, they usually aren't very forth coming about these things.

Sadly you are wrong on most cops being good. I would be willing to bet there is not a single officer in our country that has been on the force longer than 5 years that is not (or at least shouldn't be) a felon. Its also sad they have qualified immunity. For any that don't know that simply means they can break the law and get away with it as long as they didn't know they was breaking the law. Many places are trying to get that removed and it should be.

Policing is a difficult job to start with, but to have a cop who works hard, to enforce the law, and to not be above it, and only to find out that their colleagues are committing crimes is quite honestly shocking. This undermines every good cop out there. To target the most vulnerable of people in our communities and to think that they can get away with it, just enforces the fact, that they are evil. My heart goes out to those whom have been victims of crimes, because of police officers using their status of authority and abusing it whilst, ultimately thinking that they can get away with it. The strength it must have taken to report these thugs can not go without a mention, after all, who's going to believe them? The police? You'd think the last group of people to believe them would be police officers right? We know that there are bad cops (and good ones too), and it's difficult not to tar them all with the same brush, but the sooner the police forces around the world clean up their act, then no one will have faith in law enforcement whatsoever.

I'm extremely skeptical about Daniel Holtzclaw's conviction. More than one woman described an ENTIRELY different officer. Many had pending drug charges that were dropped in return for their testimony. Throughout the entire time the main witness was high af. She was high during the supposed assault, high during testimony, and high during the interviews after Holtzclaw was convicted. The witnesses aren't the only problem. The promotions handed out after the conviction and the benefits to some could easily be seen as motive. I haven't looked it in about a year. I'm not saying he's innocent. I'm saying, to me, it wasn't beyond a reasonable doubt. Am I wrong? Did I miss anything that strength his charges?

Living in South Africa we see this every day. Couple of months ago I was walking to the shop. Because I have a Beard and Long Hair they searched me etc. Then he threatened that He will shoot me if I make any sudden move or try to run. My answer was simple. From this distance, you have maybe half a shot or maybe not. Even if you do get your firearm out you better make sure you hit. If not I'll rip your head off. He left without saying another word. I know the reason he was searching me are for money. Here you can't even trust the cops anymore. Where I am from Cape Town there's a different party running it at those cops you can't bribe. But in Gauteng, it's a whole different story.

in Australia a cop broke my nose again, 2nd time, no conviction has ever been recorded, see my real on FB. It matters because my son is a haemopheliac and I was giving evidence. I am a J.P (Qualified). Police chose not to investigate, waited too long , apparently. It happened at front counter. I remembered I was in hospital when my drip line ran out on way to the toilet. I am shouting it from the rooftops, hoping one day someone will realise I need justice.
