ROAD TO NOWHERE should have at least gotten an honorable mention :/ That was one of the most memorable levels concept wise (for the first game at least).
Contrary to popular belief (if even possible), Kapil, bandicoots are actual animals (and are marsupials). Considering how Crash is a bandicoot...well...yeah.
meh spyro and ratchet & clank for me...and kingdom of hearts and halo and dbz budakai and crash nitro kart and wwe vs smackdown and rocket power team rocket rescue and Duke nukem time to kill and omg where did the time go 😭
Honestly, I'm glad they acknowledged Twinsanity. It's an unusual choice, yeah, but it's also an incredibly underrated game. I enjoyed it a lot, personally.
thesatanic6 ikr? they used only psx trilogy games from top 10 to top 2. why use all sudden a ps2 game? this stage deserved to be in 10 place, not 1. stick with the golden era crash bandicoot games that everyone thats fan know and love.
Twinsanity is my favourite Crash game of all time, its an underrated masterpiece in my opinion, it does have a lot of glitchs that can be explored by spedruners, but most of them are dificult to find and won´t bother the majority of the players
Omg I remember discovering the Green gem on Eel deal for the first time and getting crazy goosebumps. Crash 2 legit had the most creative ways to hide gems and it felt so much more satisfying obtaining them than other games imo
Just to let you know (if you didn't) after Crash Bandicoot 1-4 the 'Bandicoot' part was dropped because the new publishers intended to change the series a lot. All of the original moves were changed and game design as well (more open world like Daxter on PSP).
I like for a dark action sci-fi Crash reboot set in futuristic Japan. In that game the equivalent of Crash, who is not silent and is named Kresnik as it sounds more badass, is a mutant made by Mitsubishi and sent to prevent Jack Raiden of the Underground Resistance from destroying a Mitsubishi rocket center in the Kyushu jungle. After Kresnik fights Jack, who often appears with his weasel Dexter, the rocket center explodes and apparently Kresnik dies, however Jack saves him and he chooses to fight against the Mitsubishi army, commanded by the shogun Cortex.
***** I want Crash to get edgy: in the past I loved playing Crash but now I'm an action sci-fi writer and a hardcore JRPG fan, so i want something that combines both my past self and my present self into one.
How the hell can you not include Road Crash? The level with the secret alien sign that gives you a hidden bonus level. Seriously, it deserved the #1 spot for sure
My favourite would always be riding Cortex down mountains and grinding his crotch against sharp pipes in Crash Twinsanity. If you guys had any dirty thoughts then shame on you.
I am glad those videos helped this top 10, for an account I have left for nearly 3 years now, if it's not too much to ask but to change the credit to the channel DingoCrash which is the current account I use now or even put CrashBandiSpyro12/Dingocrash, thanks :)
I really like the level in warped where it's Egyptian themed as well. But it's at night and the only light you have is a firefly. It was soooooo well designed, and then at the end, they give you 3 aku aku masks and you get to go to town on a ton of nitro crates.
Same! It was the first game I ever owned. I must've been like 6 at the time. I remember my dad getting me the game from Zellers. I went home and played the ever loving shit out of it. I remember we had guests come over to our house that day, and my parents got really mad because I was so focused on playing the game that I didn't greet or say hi to any of the guests. I didn't even let the other kids have a turn to play. *Sigh* I was such a cunt back then. Good times...
Once Naughty Dog stopped making the games after Crash Team Racing the games sucked. Crash Twinsanity was a bit of a return to form but still not true to the original Naughty Dog games.
Tony G. i may be nostalgia blind but i actually didn't get CTR til i was older (i had had CNK for a while by then) so that kind of changes my perspective on it
because there is a stereotype in the Crash community. that being "The average fan hate WoC, and adores and praises Twinsanity like a god that has come to Earth".
i dont get what any of that means, but i love all crash games (except nitro kart and those cause they were a disgrace) and wrath of cortex has some of the best levels! The bamboozled level with the atlasphere was the greatest
I would say the average fan, as i would claim myself to be, would disregard anything from Wratch of Cortex onwards. Why anyone would praise Twinsanity is beyond me.
Of all the crash games, I believe Twinsanity is one of the worst. It undermines everything the original PS1 titles did well by gutting and nerfing every mechanic, greasing the controls, making cheap deaths punishable by forcing you to rewatch cutscenes and replay entire levels while losing all your gem progress, advertising new characters, but only letting you play them twice each in the whole game, the save function doesn't even work from the pause menu, having a miniscule amount of levels, and the cherry on top is the endless bugs that plague the playthrough. It is the Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly and the Sonic 06 of the Crash series. It's trash!
Watching this definitely hits me in the childhood, it was one of my favorite games at the time. And he didn't mention that Snow Go was also such an annoying level because as the second level, you didn't yet figure out there's a secret warp room and that's how you get the red gem. Drove me crazy as a 7 year old trying to get it, then when i discovered the warp room long after giving up, turns out you have to access it different ways in different levels to open each portal.
I HATE the underwater and water ski levels of Crash 3. The city, Dino, and motorcycle levels of Crash 3 should have been on this list instead of that water ski one.
What a weirdly timed video, considering E3 is in two weeks.......what are you trying to tell us Watchmojo? (Ps I hope the Sucker Punch Spider-Man game is real)
Are u really this dumb? "What are you trying to tell us Watchmojo?" If Watchmojo made a video tomorrow about the top ten earthquakes, it doesn't mean there's going to be a earthquake.🙄🙄🤔
Idk, Twinsanity levels are considerably longer than the ones in the first 3 (plus wrath of cortex I guess) games. It seems unfair to put them on the same list.
There were a few unique parts in that game. Sad that they didn't include any like Cortex Vortex, Avalanche, or even Bamboozled. They were really fun and the scenery was quite amazing, too.
Well that game was widely disliked by many Crash fans. Plus, the levels in that game weren't that great in my opinoin. Especially those levels where he was trapped in a rolling ball. Holy shit those were a pain the ass.
As stupid as it probably as it probably sounds, all Crash fans from the beginning would hate sequels either because they were 'too similar' or 'too different'. The first one ever made was great until the second came out made a reliable saving system. It actually all depends on where you begin. The first time I played one was when PS2 came out, so fun was just there. The stuff afterward didn't really even feel like Crash Bandicoot in my comparison. The older stuff I got eventually, was fun and creative; CB4 just went to a PS2 level and kept it going.
Crash twinsanity has a part where crash is checking out cortex shaking his ass and then you use cortex as a snowboard down a hill and it was my all time favourite part!
Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3 are the best ones, but really i thought you guys should only have included levels from the crash bandicoot games (ie: crash bandicoot 1,2,3 and wrath of cortex), twinsanity seemed so out of place. and seriously no sunset vista, no eel deal, no future frenzy or whatever its called and wtf no wrath of cortex levels, there are some great levels in that game too, eg running away from dragons, wild west, underwater.
***** You're right. It was the last real fun and good Crash game, although still not all that good compared to Wrath of Cortex and the original 3. There are so many better levels they could have chosen that they ignored over this one.
I don't agree with number 1, but the rest i'm fine with. I'm looking forward to getting to play a remastered version of the actual good Crash games next year. Hoping they do CTR with online after.
Late here, but Wrath of Cortex should get some recognition. Beside good level design, it has some of the best soundtracks in the series (prior to the N. Sane Trilogy and CTR: Nitro-Fueled remakes and It's About Time).
to those who played the original trilogy, majority of them would really neglect the titans series because of its departure on its roots unlike twinsanity and wrath of cortex.... but i really like the concept and character of Nina Cortex on the side note
In no particular order: 1.Bear It 2. Bee-Having 3. Ruination 4. Un-Bearable 5. Fumbling in the Dark 6. Road to Nowhere 7. Midnight Run 8. Tomb Time 9. Toxic Waste 10. High Time
If anything im happy that they only included the good crash games in this list, Crash 1,2,3 and twinsanity, however the cortex surfing in twinsanity was dope.
So the number 1 is a game that isn't even part of the original 3 (best of the series) and you put in the jet ski and tiger levels before the motorcycle one in warped?
Nobody cares but here is my list: 10. Diggin It 9. Generator Room 8. Rings of Power 7. Bug Lite 6. Hangin' Out 5. Double Header 4. Piston it Away 3. Gone Tomorrow 2. Dino Might! 1. Bee Having
I love these games so much. I've played them through hundreds of times and they never get old. Hands down number 2 is my all time favorite but Warped was the literal definition of my childhood.
